  1. I have a humble request concerning this thread. I would find recent changes to the tool quicker if the changelog in the first post was sorted the other way around - latest version first.
  2. I'd actually like this to change, it's somewhat annoying and superfluous having to activate steel and flint to snuff, and I can't think of a reason (other than wogic) why the mechanic is in.
  3. Had this just yesterday with wires, too. Different backpacks (cauldrons, barrels, chests) would hold different amounts of wires. I was working with combined iron lumps so it's likely the same bug. Sometimes and seemingly at random, it was possible to add another wire to the previously full container. I was suspecting heat levels at first, but I had wires of all kinds of heat levels and I didn't spot a pattern there.
  4. After every little Java update my desktop shortcut disappears and I go through this thread's routine again. Is that just the way it is or is there a way to permanently solve this (on my side)?
  5. Pretty please display Wurm Time in the new launcher. That one line would safe (me) so many browser starts.
  6. Another piece of wogic: The stern being 120kg while the components only add up to 100kg. Adding the last bit just makes your inventory 20kg heavier. There are more items like that, but I cannot recall them now.
  7. - there's no meaningful reason 'pave nearest corner' is an option for regular cobble only. Make it an option for stone slabs, gravel and all the other pavements too! - pelts should fit into backpacks - eyes should go into the BSB like all the other animal parts (bladders, tails, hoofs) do - butchered corpses should be reduced in weight (by the weight of the butchered items), so that butchering doesn't add weight to what I'm carrying - thinking of corpses, some animal's corpses are already lighter than 50kg, while most aren't and there's no straight policy to it afaik - leather knives being a blacksmithing item while carving/butchering knives are a weaponsmithing item doesn't make sense -> carving and butchering knives are no more a weapon than hatchets and pickaxes are -> but if you must persist, then please make the leather knive a weaponsmithing item too -> the sickle needs to be a blacksmithing item - Refresh on the path of love makes the whole process of obtaining food obsolete, and quickly so (level 4) -> exchange with enchanted grass (level 7)? -> but a more favourable solution would be food having benefits that Refresh can't deliver, someone just has to come up with what that could be - lowering a tile (= digging) destroys grass, but raising it (= dropping dirt) doesn't +1 to some of the stuff mentioned already: - drinking milk is no more beneficial than drinking water but should be (nutrition! or the food bar) - the inability to paint larger items regularly is a matter of balance - the inability to store fish is, too - also the inability to put horse shoes on other ungulates - the inability to ride/steer in a straight line is a matter of (a different kind of) balance and very annoying Edit: more!
  8. Xanadu Map

Please update: Aztarian is (always was) actually further east than marked, while its marker perfecty fits my new deed, New Ankh.
  9. Sold. Thank you very much and enjoy your new home!
  10. Bump, also added sniper protection.
  11. Update: sold. Hello Wurm, now that I bought some silver to deed my new place , it's time to sell my old one. The name is Ankh: The deed is on Xanadu, inbetween Greymead and Whitefay (W-E) and inbetween two major inner lakes (N-S): The place is therefore highly accessible (I straightened out parts of the Whitefay connection, other bits could still use redesigning), but not too close to any major highway. Rather, it's quietly located by a side road. I placed it in the first days of Xanadu, hoping it could be a place of exchange. In the end, I was pretty much on my own . The deed is widely flattened just above sea level, sporting almost 400 flat tiles plus a slightly raised house, as well as >100 flat adjacent off-deed tiles (stables, anyone?). There's an on-deed guard tower, an on-deed mine entrance and an 87 cast mailbox. The mine contains several iron up to "very good", and also "very good" gold. Another on-deed mine entrance could be re-created with even more iron it. Clay and tar are conveniently located by the shore a little south, connected by road. The only writ, a multi-purpose town hall with levels for crafting, storage, dorm and the mayor as well as a small temple section, can be used, modified or destroyed. There are some non-empty containers around, waiting to be emptied (or filled?) by the new owner(s): Nothing fancy, but a good start, eh? The 9x9 farm contains a dozen 3-speed horses (that you'll get with a bid of at least 9s). There's also cattle and sheep for your milking and shearing pleasure. I'll leave some carts and rowboats behind, too. Visitors in local are sparse, neighbours even more so. There's a new player in the area every other month or so, but they usually wander off quickly. There are basically no aggressive mobs around the deed. Further inland, the occasional troll or spider. It's all yours, no other player there. Why am I moving? The alliance I play with is set around another lake and I want more company. Also, it's thrilling to start over. Who is this deed suitable for? - Loners and hermits who enjoy being undisturbed, but who still want to be able to quickly travel around, in every direction. - New players who don't want to start from scratch, but rather have some terraforming, farming and gathering pre-made. - Small groups. The place really is quite big for a single person. - Ambitious players who actually want to set up a trading post. It's quite a prime location I'd say. Only I'm not very connected within the community, and also I'm lacking time. Deeding a place of this size costs 6s44c. The guard tower, mailbox, materials, horses and countless hours of terraforming should not go unconsidered. Starting bid is 6s. Stretch goals: At 9s and up, I'll leave the horses and oaks for your enjoyment (a willow, too). At 12s and up, I'll plan any writ you desire (76 carp). Buyout at 20s. 1 hour sniper protection. Happy bidding everybody! For questions and inquiries just drop me a forum PM. Update: Sold.
  12. Can be closed - thanks to Ivan Simconia.
