I was thinking of buy a cheap laptop like a think pad I can bring to work but… I look up the minimum requirements, but the ones I’ve found are meant for a desktop not laptops. I noticed some old threads talk about having to download OpenGL due to this not being standard installed for Java on those machines with intel HD GPU’s looked in to download site of the OpenGL, and it states that most of the time the game will you try to play would install the required files automatically, does the new client do this??? If so, what are the minimum specs of the onboard low end like the intel HD? If wurm would even run on them now Any other info that may help me or others thinking of the same thing while be nice to see a update minimum spec thread.

+1 This is a sandbox after all. Why not have the option to reclaim mats via scrapping.

Most games when you loose connection you will get some sort of indications. Like reconnecting box pop up, or buffering wheel. This could help players to identify the problem more easily. Instead of a crash with no indicator, just a desktop. 2nd option could be to have an in game connection strength status to server or have them both. Remember new players to the game would not know this is a connection issue. They would think the game just crashes all the time.

Give a small chance that a dragon will spawn at a rift after it is closed. If you really want to make it fancy. Make a small dungeon with a time limit portal in world. People have to choose to enter with in a few minutes. This way people can’t be summoned. Making this a rift event bonus. With some rifts having low numbers. (Enter at your own risk event)

Production is very slow these days due to real life work & work injury, but it will get done.

I just missed a rift because there is no accurate time system of when it is. Wurmnode.com still shows is 30 minutes later to start. I know wurmnode is a 3rd part, but this really needs to be looked. To having a in game timer system showing when the rift starts Im tired of setting time aside only to find it’s a waste of my time for these rifts because of noted above.

Fin explained it better then I could. if I log on now I cannot see what was traded or bought before I logged on. Thus trade chat doesn’t do it all. With a npc/board. Anyone can use it at any time till competed. If done right there will be a trade log like what we have for Waggoner. Remember, this is a sandbox. If you build it. They will us it.

Today I dead because i fell off a mountain. Would have been total fine if I could have used my town portal found in karma window, but to use this you have to go through the clunky UI system. Then select town portal and click send By this time I was dead. Sure would be useful to have this on a hot key(keybind). This is an old bug. i've had this in the past, just ignore the window the 2nd time(after 24hrs) and close it. then bank should work.

I too have to agree, If the game doesn't let you move, and you take damage doesn't seem right "20:07:52 to 20:07:57" You are burnt by lava! After [20:07:59] You may now move again. no issue if you got burned. Easy fix would be to move "invulnerably" after "you can move" in the code. I know its a couple seconds difference, but I am sure you would have lived seeing you could move.

It's too bad there isn't away us players can create in game quests/missions for other players. It could be as simple as a gathering quest, a delivery mission, make me x bricks, kill x mob with in local of the deed, or what have you. This idea would give players the option to setup quest/missions at their deed for others to do with out needing to resort to the forums all the time. Making the game feel more immersive.

Maybe have the Warmaster (from Rift) have a small chance to drop a treasure map. As it stance now. There really is not a reason to kill the Warmaster. - You have to go out to the rift, & kill WM. - Low chance of dropping. - Rifts are not everyday - not everyone can got to Rifts due to time zones, real life commitments, ext ext - More often then not people will just burn the rift closed. For those reasons noted above. I feel there is room to at least talk about adding treasure maps to the loot table of Warmaster.

I often have hear of people wanting to play on pvp but they don't like being raided when they are offline. I've seen other games get around this problem by offering a window of being able to be raided stet by the owners of deed. This way players can set the window of time they play. meeting the needs of the players not being offline when raided and giving others a time know when to be able to raid and possibly having a good fight. Now i understand it can take a long time to raid some place thus the the area of the window that can be raided would be a smaller area. Think of it like a small treasure room around the token. Thus players can still pre raid but just not the smaller area directly around the token which is set up with a timer of opportunity to raid. Just some thoughts I know this isn't perfect but I think it some what meets ever ones needs. And the hope here is to open up pvp to more players that are on the fence and this was the one thing preventing them from joining.
