  1. Sadly tat must have been years ago, as the deed i am on has been here a while and we finished elm tunnel long before i took it over and pushed for heritage, and the road on the coast never made it past elm.The issue with my neighbors is not mine alone, it followed them everywhere they go.Even on the north coast ppl have sent me ss of rotting headstones making fun of Bolov, and his group merely invaded the northmere region after others left and started walling everything off.In all honesty before Bolov decided the whole mountain need be his there were 7 public iron veins and 2 public slate veins...this info was commonly shared , even by ppl stockpiling for landrush...we submitted for heritage protection on a tunnel built long before his ppl started remaking the coast in thier image, and had a community that helped without demand of payment.he took it upon himself to take these resources for personal gain, and we even let it go to public vote over coastal v.s. tunnel...this is how i handled it...his responses were rants about the "views of commoners" , referring to the rest of the server as,"idiots who live across the server and do not matter", he even refers to his allies as "mere emissaries who 's opinions are not his own"...even sitting on that distasteful information to allow a fair unbiased vote, did not gain the approval he sought...sadly he lost (although he still continued the road to my deed and demanded i put a 2 lane highway through it, threatened to kos me, defame me, and ranted about idiots views not being important , i still have tried to meet him halfway... This said we await the gm decision on heritage and pray he does not mistakenly violate the rules and risk his deed or account....we don't even wish him gone, but that is mostly due to his sound bites that are sooo priceless to my blog...which shows him for what he is =) And as to your wish from an earlier post, the road north of the tunnel was finished long before they came in and nested in the work of others before them...since their arrival they have raised it to hinder boat access , walled off all the safety points for escaping mobs, and generally destroyed and coastal beauty from elm to port benden vineyards....large portions of the north coast have been dug out as well as the sand pit to fund this megalomania, which while it was beautiful before they landed here a few months back now has the attraction of tract housing and urban blight.at least 3 of my friends have quit playing after moving there pre pb/new celtic , and watching the natural beauty be destroyed by them and they had finished a lovely deed before the xan landrush allowed these folks to take over the work of those who came before .i would post pics for you , but what others do with their deed is not my business...i merely observe and await their inevitable end =) cheers
  2. Honestly Pandy, i see no need for name calling ,unfortunately that is not a view equally shared( which is why there is a running blog of "Bolovs Brilliance" on a previous post)..This started as a community project to heritage protect a tunnel, but even if that never happens , knowing it has inspired bolov to deed 100x91 tiles with 200+ days upkeep prepaid is reward in and of itself=) the money spent on the 221 silver + his sub has inspired me in the colossus i am building to change it( from the overwhelming vote of "Bolov's yard of broken dreams" 99/100 votes on social media with the blog link for reference) to" Freedom"....knowing that while heritage may be forgotten we had server rent paid for for a long time by his generosity, kudos to all of you =) I publicly retract my snarky comment R.E. how he destroyed seal spawns in light of this.. i truly wish you all the best and will keep the blog updated each time we get a new glimpse of his greatness. many thanks again =)
  3. Aye ellie and i echo nomadikhans offer offer of a place to stay or busywork (be warned tho I am" Bolovs Neighbor,",) and i am glad to see you in our alliance.=) we have some great ppl and there are many more in the community. If there is any way to help just holler, you are not swimming alone =) p.s. you can join me in Destiny during the slow wurm hours , after 9-9-14 that won't leave you time to think =p
  4. "For example the seal will want to spawn at a tile that is over water but has a rock tile under water next to it." week 35 patchnotes Hooray another fail brought to us by an unasked for coastal highway, that not only makes it near impossible to land a boat other than in the builders harbors, it now affects animal spawns that the actual population may wish to see. Please is there any more of cele you could ruin for the rest of us? maybe you could pave the desert? or terraform the steppes to a forest?
  5. And this is where it ends see blog marked Bolov, as i have saved every convo involving this from the bypass to today. http://freeport-wurm.guildportal.com/Me/541795407 sorry for the hassle...but i can only do so much. Todays final conversation if you don't want to sort archives:http://freeport-wurm.guildportal.com/Me/541795407/entry/bolov/182888
  6. Bolov and i are in talks , per bolov nobody is to speak for him
  7. i agree with your tunnel design kristof that is a sweet looking tunnel we planned 2 tile size high square but arched looks better ...we stopped roof worries due to deed perms(i refuse to tell anyone they have to open perms on their, even if it was a condition for heritage) , the concern of tunneling into Bolovs mines above and the G.M. only requiring wall supports..it quit being a priority after the land rush as it lost a lot of traffic....the road issue(completely my fault, but i have learned the rules from it so no regrets) was what showed me that ppl still valued elm tunnel, and made me consult on heritage....now that i see a strong lean to the tunnel i will repave the road through my deeds to make it less confusing to the azealia side connection, as soon as i finish my harbor, If i get word back confirming heritage.....if not i wont prioritize it but will keep it marked and signage up...i can no longer hold back on the renovations of my deed as it stands. I greatly appreciate all of the feedback and help received to get it this far and will help in any way to work on the tunnel that i can. keeping my fingers crossed on heritage confirmation , Merolack Poisonblade
  8. ok folks i have loved this little adventure on elm street heritage but as of last night it's connection roads were ripped out, meanwhile a coastal road continues on without waiting on a proper vote. unfortunately i have made my stance as no vote no access, but i was told things by that party i do not wish to get into..this is not an expose or flame war it was a quest for community feelings on/about a heritaged tunnel.so by sat morning i will tally it and end the confusion....suffice to say if no coastal votes (so far we have 3 idc's and dont bother alt spamming votes as i will only count valid members) i will close the water side of my deed and find out where heritage status is....but i have no more time to wait on this issue as i need to work on my deed etc... bottom line if no community appeal on either side, and no g.m. approval, there is celtic tunnel and the bypass at least during the renovation work on my deed.with the beautiful connector Bolov created it's not even 1 min extra travel, and i even have alternate suggestions where he can place a non coastal route. p.s. even if it comes to nothing , those of us who worked on and pushed for the tunnel really tried =) many thanks to all of those who contributed, supported, and otherwise added to the run .... 9. As i have stated to Bolov, i am willing to drop heritage efforts on the tunnel if the community chooses a coastal highway to connect the north to Freeport....doing this will negate any way to prove value to the community for the tunnel , thus likely negating heritage protection.(this being the final caveat given by the G.M., as the walls are now 100% reinforced, and any cosmetic work is only hampered by said deed) As stated this will only create a highway connecting the north to my deed...i have no intention of placing a highway through my deed, and will drop work on the tunnel if the heritage is negated. We did research a solid path through my waterfront that is minimally invasive and this reroute and subsequent rebuild, will close Freeport side public access to the tunnel in favor of the coastal road. I personally only pushed for heritage protection based on ease of access and in commemoration of the community effort that went into it long before anyone made plans otherwise.I will abide by the general consensus of the community in either direction, but i will not open my deed to this coastal road until the community has had a chance to choose, as many of us are heavily invested in this tunnel, and have been long before new plans arrived. I leave this for the community to decide on and hope we can find a solid common ground on it. Merolack Poisonblade post edit* note this is not the only connection to the north...inland is a major highway and celtic tunnel connecting the sand pit and long established and protected by highway rules on each end, the elm tunnel is a labor of love by the community connecting what is now freeport to what was elmstreet...the proposed coastal highway replacing the elm tunnel is a new proposal. Elm tunnels heritage status has been moved up by g.m.'s for further consideration based on the caveats posed by the G.M. who inspected it .
  10. i have roughly 30 leftover so i will start down the center and on the side above water lvl till i get more...The gm did not mention the floor as a necessity only the walls but who complains about moving faster? lol...still not sure if we have shown enough support to "prove value to the community" but will start reinforcing the floors from north side asap
  11. Thanks, this is what i figured , but i would rather be able to direct concerned parties to the link, than to have them think that i expect them to take my word for it. =)
  12. It has been brought to my attention that my neighbor who has deeded the mountain which the elm tunnel goes through is concerned that heritage protection may affect his ability to operate his current mines completely unconnected to the tunnel itself or direct surrounding area....is there any way to get confirmation on this for both of our peace of mind? i know there are silver veins all over the mountain around the northmere water tunnel, so i figured that the heritage protection will not extend into his area of concern as well.Any serious input on this would be greatly appreciated. =)
  13. ok had an extra minute or 20 AND an alcove at the elm street end....so....http://imgur.com/XXXB8ri will happily donate lamps/olive oil if needed to the owner of new celtic to keep the tunnel well lit if they have a spirit templar
  14. Thank you for that as i was having trouble explaining the location that well,,,very nice =) ...also the road from elmstreet toat least port benden /vineyards maybe even the sea tunnel(i will scout it and edit this to reflect the current state of the coastal road asap) as well as the north desert seems completely intact and well accessible i use it fairly often. edit i just sailed the coast and peaceful beginnings is as far as the Coastal Road reaches...the road along the coast has been removed to port benden vineyards but likely has inland access.
  15. if you follow the coast up from newhaven/port sugar/etc... Freeport is right on the mountain , Elm street is on the north side....alternates are inland to celtic tunnel, or a boat...will contact the map post about updating once we get the tunnel figured to keep it all neat. also posting signs up at the roundstone highway bypass by azealia (sp)
