  2. Do not implement flying without a 100% safe no fly zone over deed option in the roles of the deed. Don't use guards to protect your airspace as guards suck these days. Ensure it is a deed owner's right to tick the no fly zone. As Rolf said, nothing stops anyone from landing in your enclosure...that includes deeded enclosures (totally enclosed deeds). This should not be an option. Another thing: If someone jumps into my fence from a pile of dirt outside my wall, and he is inside my walled and locked deed and I put him kos, and he is killed in there bc he cannot get out, I WILL NOT unlock my gates for him to come get his body. His stuff is forfeit then. Just because he can jump my fence, it does not mean I lose kos rights on my deed. And why do away with legal enclosures? Will wurm then stop advertising that it is a free to play game to start with? It is clear that without any protection like legal enclosures, no free player can make any kind of living in wurm. Scrap the free to try option completely then. So people will say deed it or lose it...really? When people can fly into your deed you pay for and lock your bsbs and fsbs? How is that safe? I can see how many many more problems will emerge to cause conflict between players, to the point where ppl will just walk. To avoid this: -1 to flying. -1 to jumping fences.
  3. I often do cleanup rounds but some kinds of mobs cannot be placed in the rafts and need to be in the inventory. I am not sure how this works but I think it is the hardened and perhaps some other kind. It does not make sense that you could place a troll body into a raft but not a cavebug or cat body. They also all weigh the same, so should have the same volume? Is it possible to change this so all mob bodies can be loaded into the rafts? Thanks.

  5. I have been experiencing one second lagging on all actions going up to about four to five minute lagging, and then back to one second lagging. My frame rate is between 40 and 60. This lagging has been happening for about a week (so not right after the server move, but about a week after it moved, my lagging started). Last night I was trying to go to sleep in a bed, and the second I was supposed to log off, asleep, I was logged back in as the server thought I was just disconnected. I just quit the game after that. The lagging is making it impossible to play the game, I have to wait before going through doors or gates, my cart is not going where I steer it, I have to wait for refresh to finish before I can select an action to do, etc. It happens whether I am alone in local or with others (but mostly I am alone in local on my deed, where I never experienced lagging before). I did the trace for hopping to Wurm and found that I hop about 25 times to get to the Wurm server. In game I live on Release. Here is the log, please help if you can.   7. I am not talking about destroying clay tiles. I am talking about lowering clay that has been raised by passing noobs not knowing that it can never be lowered or dug down. Clay tiles in the middle of the ocean or a lake which have been raised for use is not the issue here, it is clay in front of a deed making it impassable by large ships, and also on a deed where the owner of the deed may want the option to terraform the clay similar ways to dirt.
  8. I would ask to PLEASE change clay so we can dig it down and continue to lower it under water, back to levels it was at under the water. From all our experiments it seems that once clay has been raised, the raised clay tile is raised forever as the clay cannot be dug down (by someone with 70+ mining only) further than how deep you can dig with a shovel under water, then you cannot lower it any further. So for clay: 1. You cannot dig it further than shovel deep under water 2. You cannot dredge it to make it deeper. 3. You cannot pack it 4. You cannot pave it 5. You cannot build on it If you can raise clay, I suggest you should be able to lower it as well. I don't mind it being difficult or need high skills (like I said 70+ digging just to get it below water level again), but please allow for the people with the skills to be able to dredge it then as well. In a sandbox game we should be able to terraform all terrain types, even clay, and in this case, both by raising it AND lowering it as low as we would like it to go.
  9. It is great that the whole team is involved in making decisions, and I love Wurm. Bugs and all. I think it is an awesome game. I guess the problem many players see is the one you mentioned here: You use 'a counsel of players to evaluate' and give feedback. Who chooses this counsel? How do you get onto this counsel? Can I get onto this counsel? Do devs choose the players for the counsel or do you apply somewhere? Or is it to do with alliances or friends or people emailing or...? For many players, people who pay money each month to play, people who are passionate about the game, a fair opportunity to give feedback to devs via a counsel would be awesome. Of course you cannot go ask every player, except if you introduce in game voting systems, open to all, to vote on decisions. I guess this is what many are referring to when they refer to asking players about changes. I could, of course, be completely wrong too, but I would like to have a vote on changes hopefully before they are made...or after. So if most players prefer them changed back, they get a say in the change. Also, just referring players to forums suggestions and ideas page, is not interactive. I would suggest an interactive in game voting system so players who are currently active, get the option to vote on stuff happening. That being said, the developer of the game has the final say, of course, but getting player input about decisions is not a bad thing either.
  10. I would like to suggest the following changes to deed settings: 1. Allow a tick box in Manage Role settings for allowing people to tame animals on deed. Allows for the non citizen person to tame horses and swop your horse shoes and saddles if need be. 2. Please separate the section where the "lead animals" and "pick up things" are in the one section. Make it two sections, one for leading animals on deed, another for picking up stuff on deed. And just some wishful thinking: Is it at all possible to allow individual players to get certain roles rather than their whole village? Please? Thanks
  11. It also has an issue with passengers embarking. The passenger embarks and on the driver's screen the passenger is travelling with the cart, on the passenger's screen he is still where he embarked and he is frozen (cannot move or do anything). Relogging places the passenger where the cart is on the server. This is a very intrusive bug for people wanting to travel with someone on a cart, as they cannot help fight mobs, cannot do any imping while travelling and do not see the area they travel through.
  12. Yes Gnome this is a good point. Some items cost much more than 10i per action and some less (like planks). The price of 10i per action is far less relevant, what is relevant is the price people are willing to pay. However, some people are using other players to produce the items for them then just sell it onwards for a profit, which is fine also, as you say it is supply and demand. I think many people make products for bulk sellers and cannot be worried about actually listing their products on forums as they 'work for' the big seller and are paid immediately upon delivery of the items. These people probably do work for 10i per action, and in many cases provide their own tools and materials also.

  14. For the past few days I have experienced a freeze frame issue when I log in. It is like mini lag. Today this progressed to a point where the freeze became several minutes long and now I cannot do anything. I tried relogging but upon relogging the area took a very long time to load and I could not perform any actions. Is the game crashing? Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks.
