We will be hosting all-weekend sermons next weekend, right alongside the RoS cast, for all the aspiring priests out there.

Update: RoS got ninja'd, so obviously our scheduled cast is being cancelled. Well folks, the prayers of Vynora's faithful are finally being answered, and Rite of Spring is available on Xanadu. Because of the recent SB refund and in order to ensure adequate "prayer power" to accomodate guests from other servers, we are scheduling the RoS cast for NEXT weekend, Saturday October 18th. The cast will be held at Opelika, E26, in the northeast. We could use 1-2 more Vyn priests for favor, so if interested in assisting with the cast, stop on by. In addition, we will be holding sermons at the Church of the Painful Truth all weekend long for up and coming priests.

I explored the possibility of making one to the west ocean when I lived on Release, but alliance drama caused an abrupt end to that plan. Having lived in that area, let me share what I know about the mines in the region. The west coast, ranging from Coastal Breeze, all the way down past Darkhorse Harbor, is riddled with existing and old/abandonned mines. Any tunnel that is tunneled anywhere near Darkhorse has resulted in deed expansions and KoS'ing as a means of stoppage. I see two options: 1. A canal that exits the lake from Solitary Shore and runs due west, along the lower half of Y26. The only place where there may be mines in the way would be the mountain on the west coast. 2. A less ideal (and far more cumbersome) option, is to run west from somewhere near Amsterdam, exiting on the western shore between Y32 and Y33. There is, however, a tunnel that runs south through the mountains that hooks up to the highway leading north from Sunset Docks. Whatever the residents of Release decide, you have my pickaxe in support.

People that are whining about having to sail to the impalong, feel free to sit at home and not participate. If you are not willing to sail across server and spend 2-3 hours doing it, then you probably can't be bothered to spend more than 2-3 hours imping or otherwise contributing to the impalong. Location really doesn't matter. The host that has man-power, friends, resources, space and knowledge at his disposal is what matters, and so far I only see two of those on the polls. Vote for the best village to host the impalong, not just because it's close to you. I'm sure that all of the hosts that are being voted on are welcoming people to stop by and have a look around.
