  1. I finished reading the OP... and I have to say... *gasp* -1
  2. If Johan was sick, he probably still is. What do you expect? Even if there was an update, it would likely contain little more than another mentioning of bridge testing and that they aren't ready yet, with another lack of indication of true progress or release date, and something else insignificant like animal sounds or combat tweaks. I'm not meaning to sound negative, but lets face it... Rolf and his team are just getting settled in to their new office and they're not running on all cylinders at this point. Chillax and give them some time.
  3. A new beginning.

When I started playing wurm, I paid for 1 month of premium via paypal. In one week, I was able to drive a large cart, in 2 weeks, a corbita. From there, I was able to do everything I needed to do to make silver in game to pay for both my main AND a priest, as well as maintaining a 20x20 deed. If you are absolutely insistent on not paying a dime for this game, not even your first month, then you have no choice but to get a job and work for someone digging or making bricks.
  4. Okay, so don't buy them. No sense in ruining it for people that want them.
  5. You don't need a new map. There's plenty of room enough for the three of you to keep playing on Epic.
  6. I'm out of bricks, I'm out of dirt. Thread can be closed.
  7. I'm sure we can work something out. PM Wargasm in game.
  8. I won't participate in a PM bidding war, but I'll sell a cedar corbita for the market rate 4 silver, if you're interested.
  9. Oh, to clarify, I'm not necessarily looking for one person that has a use for TEN THOUSAND bricks... I'm willing to sell it in parts to multiple wurmians if necessary.
  10. Bricks- 2s/1k Dirt- 1s/1k Mortar- (made on request)- 2.5s/1k Free delivery anywhere coastal (except Chaos). Can PM Wargasm/Wargsfaith in game, or Wargasm here on the forums.
  11. I've got a surplus of bricks I'd love to sell. PM me in game (Wargasm/Wargsfaith) or Wargasm here on the forums, and I'll deliver them for free.
  12. Where's this canal at? Bayview? I'll bring a pickaxe and poke at it when I can, if the public is allowed entry/mining.
  13. Unfortunately, my weekend plans just got made for me, and I will not be online in the capacity that I thought I would be. I'll be tentative for this fight. The slaying will still happen in my absence, as it's not my deed where the dragon is penned.
  14. UPDATE: The canal on the map (the one I drew below) does not work. It has been confirmed by several people that it is only 10% finished. Why this canal is on the map if it is not functional is beyond comprehension, but it makes this dragon exceedingly difficult to get to. While I understand completely that several of you have already made the trek to get there, I want the community to know that I planned this event under a wrongful assumption that the aforementioned canal was public, fully functional, and available for sea-faring fighters to easily gain access to the event. As I mentioned in a post later in the thread (but did not update this one until now), I will not be attending the event personally, because I had to work on my day off last night, on short notice. I am not canceling the event due to my own absence, I applaud the devoted Wurmians willing to make the journey to slay the dragon. Good luck with the fight! -Wargasm ---------------------------------- The green dragon has been sighted, penned and is awaiting execution for the attempted murder of an un-named brick maker that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. When: Saturday, January 31 at 3pm US Central Time (see timer below) Location: Windameir, Xanadu (J16). Windameir is not on the map. Note: Windameir is NOT easily accessible by land. The only way to get there is through a cave canal to the west, so bring your sailboat/knarr/rowboat for this one. BRING YOUR OWN HORSES. Loot Rules All loot drops will be rolled on. To be eligible to receive items from the kill, you must: 1. Respond to this thread with your character name, no later than 3 hours before the event will start, to register. 2. Show your mercenary title. No sub-70 fighters allowed. 3. Upon the dragon's death, the area history feed (ex. "Wargasm has slain the venerable green dragon hatchling") will tell us who hit the dragon at least once. If you didn't hit the dragon, no loot for you. 4. In the event of a sorcery item drop, each charge (3) will be rolled for separately. For any questions or concerns, PM Wargasm or Castile, in game or on the forums.
  15. This isn't Eve. Intergalactic space stations haven't been invented yet, nor has the magic auction house that allows your goods to be available in multiple places simultaneously. Moving on... In an existing game where there's already 90+ skilled players, it only hurts new players (and the economy) by making it harder to reach this 90 skill. Adversely, it is unfair to players who have played so many years, clawed their way up the skill grind ladder, for a skill such as channeling to suddenly be made easier and now everyone sells enchants like they're planks and dirt. Merchants are fine. The economy is fine. The difficulty of skilling is fine.
  16. +1, but I disagree with the OP's idea to restrict them to outdoor use.
  17. Load your support beams in a crate and drag the cart yourself. Problem solved.
