  1. Various of my maple and walnut trees are now birch as well on Inde. Thanks for the fix on the aging, hopefully you can find this other problem unless it's related and fixed already. All 3 of my deed's willows were shriveled last I looked and I would hate to see them turned into birch :-(
  2. Update... it appears some of the affected trees are not cycling from shriveled to young but rather being reverted to a dirt tile! PLEASE get us an update or at the very least some mention that this is being addressed. My tree farm is disappearing.
  3. ok, so all the trees that shriveled yesterday are still shriveled along with a whole slew more. I'll echo Lisabet saying this seriously needs fixing.
  4. I hope this bug is fixed soon. My grape bushes and apple trees went from old / very old to shriveled in less than 24 hours. This completely borks my grape harvest this season... and with apples coming in soon it's not looking good there either.
  5. Or log Everquest and have a look at the broker system in place there. Yes, there are many different ways to streamline the economy a bit.
  6. Hey Arch! Would you please add my deed "Amber's Embrace" located on the border between 46x36y and 47x36y on the shoreline. There is a guard tower on the west end of the deed. Also there's been loads of terraforming that changed the shoreline a bit... more to come [eventually]. In advance, Thanks
  7. It's still not logging in here yet. Oh well, back to work and try again later =.=
  8. Wasn't it a recurrent issue like this that sent Wurm to this new host server in the first place?
  9. Nice update info. So what about that teleport bug. Any progress there?
  10. It is a cool blue spikey looking soccer ball thing (couldn't think of a better description). But no, I'm on Independence server. Thanks for the reply though
  11. Found it in a void while mining. It's likely been buried there for at least the last 6 months unless it's a recent spawn. As of this posting it is 87 ql with about 24 damage. Found on Inde in the mountain north side of Crystal Lake.
  12. I played several MMOs over the years, Warcraft and EQ/EQ2 among them. For the last few years got comfortable with Vanguard's "features" until Sony announced the sunset. In that first couple weeks after the major griping died down, players were talking about where they would go when the plug gets pulled. A few mentioned Wurm (among others). After trying it for a few days got hooked. The major draw for me was the utter lack of theme park scenarios. You get dropped off in this world as an ignorant unprepared nothing with a few tools, fewer instructions and a broken compass to a map little better than a pencil sketch on a discarded food wrapper (the food would have been more useful). Your first encounter with wildlife was most likely going to be fatal. The challenge was irresistible :-).
  13. +1 to one way deed expansion! Thanks muchly! As to new creature AI... I think my bison got a bit of an overdose. They literally don't stand still long enough to groom much less tame. Pigs are good though as are the horses. Nice to see they do finally move around a bit more than the statues :-)
  14. Not the same thing at all. Folks acted on Rolf's personal recommendation to prepare for the changes. I almost did myself but decided against putting up the extra coin (about 56s). Is this price reduction going to lure me into the expenditure now? Not on your life. The whole thing stinks of bait n switch.
  15. Yes, most of us know the potential troubles involved in a zero perimeter between deeds. However, allowing a reduction in this perimeter to 1 tile (that leaves 2 between deeds) would be fine. There's a difference between 'free' and 'free with purchase'. There's a cost to expanded perimeter.
  16. So the fix for enclosures is reduced tile purchase price? No single direction deed expansion, no variable perimeter adjustment under the minimum 5 tiles? Not even a mention of reduced upkeep fee for active farm tiles. Your fix may help some setting up new or remote farms but does nothing for many others with existing adjacent lands. There will still be the high cost of disbanding and moving tokens. Other than that, great news. Love the new deco furniture.
  17. I think I'll be staying put on Inde as well. The idea of travelling to explore, tramp around a bit is appealing but like others before me have said, I've got too much into what I have to simply walk away. Take Inde away and I'll just go away too ;p
  18. Awesome guy and quick service. A 30ql cKnife to 81 ql in 15 min! Thanks!
  19. Update: GM Vesper came by and looked at the errant lumps. Apparently all fields in the database matched horseshoes except the name. He exchanged these for replacement correct lumps and took the bad ones to the devs. For me problem resolved. :-) Now the dev team gets to figure out how a thing like this can happen. On a sidebar note, while making planks for a project yesterday somehow my stack of 6 pinewood logs (~41ql) managed to give me a 58ql birchwood plank along with the usual list of normal pinewood planks. A rare gone wrong maybe? I had sound off during the making of those planks so anything's possible.
  20. Will do. Thanks Alectrys Just for grins I went and checked on those again this morning after server restart, problem still persists. Hopefully a GM can figure it out :-)
  21. I witnessed an adolescent bison take on an old brown bear. The bison was at 25% health when the bear went down. Tough buggers.
  22. A couple days ago I made some combined iron lumps, a 44.00ql @ 2.76 kg for imping and a 33.41ql @ 8.66 kg for production. Later also made a 15ql lump. Today, the 44 and the 33 have a horseshoe icon and show the improvable icon to the right of the description. On examine these show an enchant for "Blessings of the Dark" the 33 at 87, the 44 at 89. I tried to combine them when glowing or use them in the craft window, neither is functional because the UI sees them as horseshoes. also tried to BSB them when cooled but received a msg saying "the lump will be destroyed" Any ideas? edit: yes, relogged for 5 min, also looked at these with a separate toon.
  23. Here's what I need 1k wemp 6 Oak logs (~30 QL) 6 Willow logs (~30 QL) 12ea Logs at QL 75 *edit for clarity Contact Calisthra or Aaeleron on Inde Edit: Fast friendly service, tyvm!
  24. Final update on this crash.... one of the most recent updates fixed this and for the first time since I started I have been able to see the paperdoll window. Many thanks on the fix!
  25. I love the pace this game sets, if that's what you can call it. No flightpaths, no real instant travel anywhere (exceptions for karma noted). Heck, a quick little jog across one of the 4 lakes on Inde will set you back 10-12 minutes one way on a rowboat. Build big or build small and cozy, crops or critters, mines you dig and forests you plant. Train to fight, build your armours and weapons. Try to scratch out a living in the wilds off deed, join a village and be a participating citizen or pony up and buy a lot and remake the landscape. Everything is up to your own design. Yeah, one week in and I cannot imagine being anywhere else.
