(( I'm posting this in the scribes corner since some of it is in character and some of it is not, please feel free to move it to a more appropriate section! )) I've travelled the lands of wurm and recorded most of my adventures over that time on my ancient blog. Since the blog itself is not dedicated to wurm, but rather has posts tagged, I decided to collect them by year. There are over 100 entries for 2012 (the year I started playing) with 200+ over the past 12 years. I've also written brief descriptions for important events / updates / stuff that happened. I wanted to share it (along with all the screenshots) - any time you think Wurm hasn't changed over time, take a look at the oldest posts. Wurm has evolved and grown so much, and it's beautiful. I don't have all of the posts added quite yet, but I hopefully will finish it up over the next few days, and then I'll continue to update it as I write. * note * I've also added Wurm Unlimited to the pages under their own category, some years when it looks like I didn't play, I did, but I played the Sklotopolis server almost exclusively and wrote about those adventures too. I am headed over with my 74ish faith Vyn priest, Blesse - it has always been a dream of mine to one day have 100 faith priest on SFI, but prayers have become a little slow for gains I can leave her on 24/7 as a listener also. I checked out the sign up sheet but it doesn't look like it is set for today? I am pretty bad with directions but hopefully she makes the trip without too many issues, lol.

I think 'worth' is subjective, and no one can really tell you if it is worth it - for you. I'm also an old player, and recently returned, and I'm incredibly glad I did. The new treasure maps are fun, there's a new (to me) skill of cartography, the community hasn't really changed that much on SFI, and NFI is super populated. I found the opposite to be true re: 'fresh' - it feels fresh to me, with new graphics for a ton of things, wall fountains, new traits on animals, new animals, new rugs, new skins, the loyalty/premium point system where you can purchase things, materials being made from different items (slate forge?), pet bowls, etc. I was away long enough that even the UI changes (repeat, default action, etc) are still 'new' to me, and they're such a relief after the old way of doing things. A lot of old players have moved on, but there's still some around too. In the end, you'll really just have to decide for yourself what 'worth it' means for you personally. For me, the answer would be absolutely yes, it is completely worth it. YMMV.

The Vyn one - as a priest - is very lack luster to me. I don't see a reason to be here, I can't imp, and the biggest reason everyone else is here is for the imbibe buff / bonus rares while imping. Sure, there's the sleep bonus pulse, but since rite of spring is being flung around everywhere it's really not much incentive to hang around. I went to the Fo one but only 1 person was there and there were angry mobs everywhere in the middle of the woods so that was not exactly a lot of fun for (again) a priest character with a lot of soft squishy skills, so I didn't stick around. The mag one I didn't go to or participate in - but I loved the meteorite bit since I lived nearby I got to benefit from it as a non-mag. Overall? They are cute, and are "new" right now, but they also feel unbalanced for both followers and priests. Convincing people to come out and hang out is as difficult as it ever is in Wurm when they live far from the sites. Veteran priests can summon, but I'd love to see things a bit more balanced for both new/old player & priest/follower alike.

Hi there, just stumbled across this post - I was Wurm Online's very first public relations person. I kept a blog with my Wurm adventures, which I still have (lots of screenshots of Wurm through the ages) - my very first post (2011) and then the tag for all of my wurm posts (there have been a lot). I think there's a screenshot with every single post I made. I have a few videos but they're not that old, 7 years, 5 years. Wurm has always been and remains by far my most favourite game. It holds such a special place in my heart that I wouldn't even be able to begin describing why. I can say, that the people were the number one reason I stuck around - and that's why I continue to play (even if I am a little quieter).

Over the past 10+ years I've had lots of little goals, they're what keep me playing. - 100 faith priest (done) - 'completed' deed (as much as a deed is over completed) (done) - a handful of skills 90+ (done) - slay a dragon (done) - attend an impalong (done, many times over) - obtain a set of drake to replace one I lost (not done and probably not happening) - re-obtain my unique named sword Rolf made for me when I was CM but lost on an adventure in Chaos many years ago (probably never happening, not even sure it still exists out there)

I'm looking to buy a (mostly) completed deed on Cadence for up to 50s. Must have: Highway access Would be nice to have: At least two completed buildings, a mine on deed, ocean access, extras.
