Champs have to sit there and click buttons to get the requirements just like you did to get SOTG, and SOTG is more game breaking than anything ever put in wurm, and it is permanent with no chance to do anything about it. Hope it gets nerfed to crap and they fix this champ bug. LOL Whats the cons of SOTG? Maybe I missed something?

Wurms dev resources have grown exponentially every year for the last few year, I think your fear is unfounded. Seems to me development is picking up at a grand pace. Challenge dev stuff will be filtered to the other servers as it always is. Freedom got all the benefit of the epic dev time without having to sit there and play through the crap, good show.

They do stay in the game, except for buggy tabards.

Nothing personal here, Gary happens to be a fine example of the behavior that kills pvp. Its not really the game or mechanics, it's the people, mostly. He isn't king to build his kingdom or promote pvp or lead events, he has it for his own personal gain, thus the interest in finding kings on any server or of any kingdom that actually inspire pvp, build their kingdom, lead and organize events. He won't answer any of these statements because he knows its all true. I don't care that your 5 players in your "kingdom" didn't recruit me, this isn't personal,you guys don't do anything to recruit people to join... Namekat runs around once in awhile on an empty server doing nothing, thats about it. Hell Id go to Avarga again right now even if I knew I was gonna die just to get some pvp or do something... Those who have the benefit of King roles in game should focus more on organizing events, helping new guys, instigating pvp, building their kingdom. It's not a role meant to be for selfish personal gain. I am simply imploring people everywhere to do stuff... It starts at the top. It's not just Gary, it happens over and over. PvP is better when someone selfless has the crown. People like Horton, Zerobyte, hell even Gavin, put the game and their kingdom first. It seems like now all a kingdom is a selfish gift for whoever can wall off the kingdom item for the longest. New people leave as soon as they realize it. Am I wrong? It's alot easier to blame game mechanics that to look in the mirror.

ITT certain "kings" will stick their head in the sand and proclaim their greatness as they stand around their 5 friends with SOTG and call it a kingdom? Maybe? Please explain to me the "greatness" how have you helped your kingdom grow? Because it certainly looks to have stagnated. MR had way more people before Gary was king, thats just fact... He can't even answer with anything more thoughtful than a haha because he knows its true. How have you grown your kingdom? What pvp do you instigate? What have you organized or led that is meaningful or helps the game or pvp community? If that crown isnt for your own personal selfish gain those are legit questions anyone could/should be asking, but no one is left to care. HAHA? I guess... Gary, your kingdom doesn't seem to be doing much. You don't recruit, your kingdom has shown zero growth and has lost many players since you took over, do you take any responsibility for that? You don't organize raids or pvp encounters, unless you call going to the empty hota leading people. You seem to hold your position and use it to your own personal benefit and literally do zero except forum pvp. Your trying to take credit for disbanding a PMK that was already gone? IS that your claim to glory? Your glorious leadership run has done nothing but stagnate your own kingdom and bog down pvp as a whole. That king title is just a personal spiff for yourself, you do nothing for Mol Rehan, zip, zero, nadda, zilch. But hey if disbanding a pmk that was already over with due to deceit and thievery is something to hang your hat on go ahead, it really isn't though just makes for a nice forum attempted zinger here or there. You don't care about your kingdom growing, just holding onto your titles. You have been the same way since years ago when you refused to do a locate artifact to help out when MR on chaos was looking for them. In fact I think the one Avarga raid I organized caused more pvp than you have your entire epic career. Where is the leadership man? Thats kind of why I made this thread. Not many good leaders in this game, even less so now. Alot of big mouths and forum trash talkers and no leadership. Where are the people with big mouths that do what they say? Kings like you are why PVP servers stagnate. There is not enough people to challenge you because no one cares anymore. Do you take any responsibility for that or are you going to act like your the best king ever? We already know the answer. So whos the joke? You got a couple guys with SOTG holding your back and nothing else and no achievement during your reign. You can't muster numbers, you can muster a few friends with SOTG... The most organizing you have done is to barricade the sword in the stone from anyone else reaching it until you got what you wanted. What do you do as a king that is good for the game and good for pvp? Say what you want about KOS but that pmk was better for PVP and epic than you being king thats for sure. So much pvp happened because of KOS, chancellor gary not so much... Like you once told me, have fun playing by yourself.

Horton was probably the best pvp king. I modeled my style after him. Someone that would do stuff. Seems like kings that actually build their kingdoms and lead pvp are a thing of the past.

I would add a ton of NPC's to the game to flesh out the game world. It would increase immersion and make the world more interesting. Anytime someone mentions NPCs people go oooh nooo the people and community flesh out the game but the truth is most of players are poor at doing this. You should be able to hire NPCs for your deed, of all different types.

I sense a barrel rework in our future!
