  1. Several people have contacted me with offers, and I will be attempting to work a deal with one of them. Thank you all.
  2. Title says it all. Looking to purchase a Knarr. Delivery to Deliverance requested. Transaction time to be determined based on availability. Please, make offers. I'm not looking to spend TOO much, but something reasonable.
  3. Please Close

Good call. This thread can be closed, please.

  5. This problem doesn't exist with almost any other wall type, because the model extends below what is supposed to be ground level. Why hasn't this been done with iron fence sections?
  6. A toggleable gui window that lists all mobs or players currently targeting you. Sucks fighting something or someone and not noticing the mob that came up from behind, and you just missed the 1-line warning that it's moved in by being on a different tab.
  7. Miners needed

Ok, I did another, (hopefully) more accurate tile count of our mines, your tunnel, and our deed. Again, please excuse the hasty MSPaint: The current end of your tunnel is about 12-16 tiles from the west-most edge of our deed, and about 15-20 tiles from the south-most edge of our deed, but there are reinforced cave tiles in that direction keeping our deed access from caving in. Our deed is roughly 30x30 tiles. So, basically, all problems can be avoided if you start heading north from where the end of your tunnel is right now for maybe 50-55 tiles. That way you can reinforce tiles that won't be on our deed on the sides of your tunnel, if you intend to, and nothing we do up there is going to mess up the tunnel. There should be enough space between our deed border and your tunnel then, even if I miscounted by a few tiles. (It can be hard to count tiles bouncing an alt down a mountainside. ) Either way, it would seem that we caught this just in time to fix it perfectly without TOO much inconvenience for either party.
  8. Miners needed

I went through and counted out tiles. It looks like the current path is going to hit the tunnel that exists, and will pass about 15 tiles off the south side of the deed up here. The deed is only 30 tiles wide north/south. If you go north, you shouldn't have to go more than maybe 50 tiles to go around without having problems with anything.
  9. Miners needed

Ok, here is what I did not have time to do earlier. Please excuse the MSPaint. From what can be seen from the top of the mountain, this seems to be a more accurate depiction of the shape of the south side of the mountain: The exact location of Nexus seems a bit hard to pin down by the shape of the mountain. It may be slightly farther south or north. The red line, however, is the rough course of the mine tunnel that already exists running from the base of the mountain nearly to the top. Hence my concern. Depending on the EXACT location of the town, the tunnel that's already there is going to be in the way. From the look of things, the tunnel that you're making MAY be far enough north, but again, it's hard to tell. We've tried looking through the walls of our mine (and I actually came down the other day to try looking through the walls of that tunnel), but the elevation difference is too much to be able to see one shaft from the other. But neither one seems to be within local range of the other, at least not yet. If we have to, I'm willing to try counting tiles to see just how close it may be to intersecting. In retrospect, I wish I would have seen this earlier. My fault, I guess, for not checking the forums regularly.
  10. Miners needed

Ooookay, chief, that's a nice reasonable response. I'm not telling you not to build your tunnel. I don't care. But if you hit a mine that already exists and your project gets brickwalled, don't say nobody tried to warn you nicely that it might happen.
  11. Miners needed

I urge whoever is leading this project to pay a visit to the top of that mountain, via the ramp/stairs we have made at Nexus and have a look at the surrounding geography. The mountain on that map, that looks to be one solid mountain, kind of splits into two, somewhere between where the White Dragon was killed and where the Goblin King was killed. It may interfere with this tunneling project. We had originally planned, at some point in the future, to make a tunnel that goes through the second foot of the mountain, at the base of our ramp, over to Green Dog, which would cut the distance required to mine to about 1/3. Feel free to PM Atom in game, if you want/need directions, or a better view of the mountain you intend to mine through from the top.
  12. We do intend to deed up there. Making the arrangements to buy a deed atm, actually.
  13. Zeno and I have created a wall-ladder, and consequently reached the top of one of the 2 tallest mountains on Deliverance. (both mountains appear the same relative height). Someone used the ladder earlier today, and they have my gratitude for killing an Anaconda I would not have been able to kill myself. I apologize for the night shots, but enjoy some screenshots: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/828/wurm201109091654.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/508/wurm2011090916541.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/838/wurm201109091655.jpg/
  14. Shortly after converting to BL in beta, Swisscheese and the LO team brought me along to raid Kyara (back when they had the size 100 or so deed) and we either slaughtered or led off all 50 or so of their cows. And this was back when cows were the only source of leather. I believe all 12 people raiding had either a zombie hyena or a zombie gorilla. All tolled, we only lost 1 gorilla to the light guards, and we also lost Wetdry(Planeteer) on the way out because he fails at paying attention to guard respawns. Good times. Good times. Oh, yea, also in beta, I macroed tracking to get the title. I suppose that counts as evil, but as it's tracking, I doubt anyone cares. For anyone who's interested though, the only appreciable difference in tracking skill, is how fast you track. No extra information as a result.
