  1. -1 1. When they surrender you would have to be able to see their inventory, otherwise how could you know what object you want to take from them? And why to take one thing (or even more) when you can get all? 2. It would become a perfect way to make traps. Send one guy to surrender, then while the "winner" is busy checking your inventory, he is less concentrate on his local. I mean if I kill someone (never happened yet ), i want to snag his stuff and get away asap before his friends show up. 3. You let the guy live, and then in few minutes he kill one of yours. 4. You don't let enemies running around so he can cartography all the area. I mean sooner you kill the guy and send him back to his place, less time he has to reckon the deeds, works in progress, make outpost, kill your allies. So the game mechanics itself requires of you to kill enemies instead of letting them wandering around. 5. Probably thousands of other reasons.
  2. Anybody knows about any way to check if a Mac is infected by a bot? I can't find anything conclusive, as most of the time, on forums, people starts to arguing if they are any bots for mac or no, in the "Mac is perfect, PC is crap" vs "Mac is for noobs, PC are the best" brainwashed consumer war Thx in advance
  3. In LiF, you have pre-made buildings, for now at least. I find Wurm building system much better -> wall after wall. Of course i'd like more options, like being able to build it brick by brick (in the most perfect scenario), do not have to follow the tile's lines, etc.... So one would be able to make it's house really personal in style. Speaking about lag, i agree, but obviously i'm talking about a perfect game in a perfect World. With a good engine (something like Outerra for example). So an ameliorated Wurm building system, with a look like in Skyrim (i really like the furnitures in Skyrim and how you can decorate and put stuff all around) and a Mount and Blade style fighting system, would be a dream for me. If I had any programming skill, it's at least what I would love to try to create.
  4. Not worth at all!! For the same price (if your are from US) you can buy a new one and better. I just checked Walmart website and for 350USD they have a bunch of laptops better and new, so with a guarantee.
  5. Latest iMac

    Wurm works flawlessly on my iMac 27", and even if sometimes you get the fix of the problems later than on a PC you can use Bootcamp to run Wurm in native on Windows. Every 3 or 4 hours, if i play continuously , i have to restart the game, because a little lag starts, but it seems that's Java's some kind of memory problem and it's not limited to Mac though.   6. What would make Wurm almost a perfect game is to mix Wurm's building and crafting system* with Mount and Blade fighting system. I would be the most fulfilled player of all times. * of course it'll need constant ameliorations, more building possibilities, decorations (painting, furnitures, being able to place stuff on tables and plenty other stuff)

  13. Hi back, I've just succeded to connect (without doing anything)... but the game was frozen, i couldn't move no more. So I quit. I reconnected again... and everything works again. I'm going to play a bit and keep you update if something change. Thx
  14. Hi, After the new Java Update, I had the same problem than most of the people on macs and some on Windows. Then, I succeded to lunch Wurm : switched Java from high security to medium. After a minute of game i disembarked from my Knarr and CRASH (help, i'm sinking).
