  1. I suspect this is the wrong forum for the specific problem of the Xanadu map, but there is the more general problem also. Regionalised ore distribution on a map as huge as Xanadu seems counter productive. Travelling times are ridiculous simply because of the size of the map. Then also, that it is relatively new means that there are no roads in many areas anyway. But the main problem with the whole idea is that, afaik, it distributes ores according to the location on the map rather than the type of terrain. The idea would make sense to me if, say, certain ores had to be deeper within mountain ranges and others maybe nearer the surface area than others. I'm not a geologist so I don't know what's literally realistic there but, in the context of the game, I'd say that it makes more sense to distribute ore according to terrain than regional location. It's probably also more fun trying to guess where you might find ore type X if there are some hidden rules for the sorts of places you might find it. Maybe tar, clay, marsh, lowlands, foothills or high mountain (etc) may all influence the probabilities ore types in the rock layers nearby?
  2. Selling 2 small sailing boats at FMD for 1s each. QL 55 and 60 with anchor and boat lock. I should be online around 6pm GMT on 9 Aug, but this is a rush sale. Check Freedom chat if you are interested. I will not be on Inde the day after. I will accept 75c without the anchor. For people willing to invest the 75c or the effort for the mast, anchor and lock - there is also a nearly complete small sailing boat due west along the coast from FMD. That one is free for whoever wants to complete it.
  3. And .. just cos I lie the game .. "There are now some pretty good player written things out there". Call isometric 2.5D if you have to, but this game is actually pretty good given how cheap it is.
  4. (cruel btard at group therapy sessions) .. You know .. they only write it because they know what you are thinking?
  5. Witcher 3

Witcher 2 was at 75% on Steam recently. It was a good game, though a bit dated in graphics. I AM looking forward to Witcher 3 because I DID enjoy Witcher 2.
  6. I was in a lunatic asylum. Remember Kyoto and the treaty you did not sign? I laughed my insane head off
  7. Epic Space Game

+1 Horton Taking your reknown from one game to help another is worth good kudos. I'll check that out even though I do not trust you at all
  8. Was your pirate rowboat called "the Naïve"? I admire you though - I so wanted to do the same thing. .,. Instead, I bought a galaxy .. and a big ship .. and .. then .. I waited for you on the other side of that gate
  9. It looks immature (ie low development) Wurm 0.6 was better done imo. I'll leave that one alone and stay with Wurm. Pretty graphics and no gameplay i'd guess.
  10. I thought this was amasing. She is actually very like me, for being quite well spoken, though some of her interpretations ... "Hell slap it inta ye" hahaha ....
  11. LOL @ Guest_Fuel I have seen that pic posted before .. di you steal it or is that you?
  12. Just a heads up for anyone that ever read the Shadowrun books or played the Nintendo console game Harebrained Shemes just released a PC version of the game around the start of August. It is fairly affordable at around 15 GBP and available on Steam. Its around 24 hours of play time to complete the initial campaign, with another in development atm. The game is an isometric view, 2.5D tactical sci-fi fantasy tactical RPG - very similar to Baldur's Gate in terms of game mechanics, though with a larger scale view of the world. In the last 4 or 5 days the Steam workshop for the game has increased from about 2 pages to around 5 or 6, so there is a very active user modding community already, though most of the content currently seems to be in alpha or beta stage. That said, some of it is very good as is and markedly extends the overall playing time of the game as a result. If you are interested in writing game mods, the game comes with the game editor, which is fairly fully featured and much easier to learn and use than, say, the Construction Kit from Skyrim.
  13. Title says it all, I need one tile collapsed in my mine. I live about 2 mins walk from Freedom Market. I'm obviously not expecting it done for free. PM Tritus or Fop or Svelte or Trimin ingame or pm here on the forum. Sooner the better. EDIT - I mostly play afternoons / evenings GMT
  14. Excellent program - really like it - great job and thank you for such a useful tool Suggestions: It would be nice to be able to set base highlight colours for traits with increased hue according to weight. EG Trait X has base colour light red (pink) and every 10 points of value that trait becomes more red (eg RGB FF7777 at weight 1-10, DF7777 at weight 11-20, etc). It would also be nice to set different weights for different herds. EG I have a race horse line and a war horse line which each want different traits to be highlighted as being valuable in the respective lines It would be nice to be able to see flat view or herd view so that you could see only horses from one herd or horses from all herds. It would be nice to set a default stallion to breed with certain mare(s) so that when you clicked that mare it would show its default partner. The default partner might not necessarily be in the same herd. So I'd guess this would be a feature you would set on the flat view even though it should also be visible in the herd view. It would be nice to have a generation view, showing the parents first with the children below and their children below that, preferably indented a little for each descendent generation. It would be good if the program indicated that a horse was too young to breed and (partially) tracked the age so that you could be prompted to re-examine that horse roughly when it was due to reach the next age. I realise that automatically advancing the age of a horse would probably be pretty much guesswork. For program suggested horse pairing, it would be nice if the highlight colours were more intense depending on the comparative total value of traits rather than just highlighting the 'best' partner. When you install the program it would be nice if there were some preset event types as examples of how to tell the program to pick up typical events from the log files. (Example of regexp events would probably be very handy for people that don't know how regexp works).
