    Okay so weird issue, if you click and drag a chat (been using team chat for this) and undock it from the normal chat window and dock it with the event window, the character limit for sending messages is much smaller

    i had another person test it out and it appears the issue isn't related to just me

    ah yea, just came back to the game so forgot to get my deed put back on the map xD

    as for the other question, the deed name came from my old deed on celeb where i lived in a mostly maple forest, the new location has a lot more maples as i cleared out a bunch of trees and replaced them with the much better maples :P

    They look wonderful however when it converts from leafed tree to leafless tree the whole model moves back around 1 tile which changes the interaction zone from the old on the stub to the middle of the felled tree, slightly annoying :P

    We here at Golden Maple View (GMV) are looking for players who either want to learn the game or just want to have some good old fun.

    I'm Fireriders ingame, i am a carpenter and boat builder and i've been in wurm for quite a long time so i can help you learn the game.

    We don't have any skill or job requirements.

     

    You can leave at any point but if you do please remove your house or give me ownership.

     

    The deed currently has:

     

    • Blacksmith (its very uhhh open air atm)
    • Kitchen (Still needs to be finished)
    • Small on deed farm (with access to a large area for farming off deed)
    • Stables for animals
    • Easy access to: Water, Tar, clay, Moss, Peat and Most ores.

     

    Rules:

     

    1. Always respect others.
    2. Don't take what isn't yours unless given permission
    3. Have fun.

    I know 1 thing about rares, they hate me.


    over the past week ive made and improved 1250 hunting arrows to QL50 i got 1 rare from the whole thing


    and yesterday i made 1250 war arrows, i did get a rare roll however...it was when i was cutting a shaft from a log >.>

    I'd be really interested in joining. I have tried the game a few times, but every village I join has some incredibly controlling uh 'landlords' ? So I end up getting so frustrated with the drama I just leave the game for a while. I'm looking to try again, and gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge I do have. :D

     

    The navigation of the game world still absolutely befuddles me, that one may take a while to figure out.

    Hey I have played off and on for a bit, I started up again recently and my village seems to have died off. I would be interested in a new casual play place. I have been working on ship building and fishing so far. about 35 in each. Are people on fairly frequently?

    People are generaly on once a day,i however havent been on much the past few days, taking a break as im getting slightly burnt out but ill be back in a few days and i log on every 1-2 days to see how everything is doing.

    I have played Wurm for about 2 months but left to do RL things, and would love to get back into it again been looking for settlement to join as the last time I played I went alone with only my friend to help but was a major Noobfail (Total got owned by Mob's). I will be starting a new F2P character soon will get member ship when I can afford,  I would like to become a Blacksmith/Miner and will force friend to play again maybe get him to be a Tanner if still needed.

    I recently noticed that while your on a big boat such as knarr or corbita the tile selection is off by quite a bit amount, i have yet tested this with a cog or caravel as i dont have access to one. Happens every time i embark as passanger, will test captain in a little bit and post if it happens aswell

     

    edit: tried as commander, no issue with tile selection

    edit: edit: reloging doesnt fix the tile selection

    also when disembarking it seems to think the player is further back then they are on the boat and will tell you the tile is too far away.

      I'm brand new to Wurm online, I've been playing for a few days with some understanding of the mechanics. I've played many mmo's before this one and it seems to be the only "good" one left in my opinion haha. But, you've got my attention. I joined on Xanadu I'd be interested in joining the Golden Maple View! :3

    That is if you guys don't mind showing me some of the tricks of the trade? Please lol
