Note that the parabel is calculated based on the height of the tile you aim at. We are discussing adding a some visuals for it or changing the system somehow.
  2. As of a few days ago, I'm able to see the water spray animation in 5 of my underground fountains where I couldn't previously. This is both on stable and unstable clients and both the ornate fountain and fountain. Can you check again being sure you can see it above ground first then check underground?

This means deeds may be raided. A player in a custom kingdom who leaves the Chaos server for a non-pvp server in the Freedom cluster should be set to the freedom kingdom and back to the custom kingdom when he returns. The Chaos code could not be tested since it’s specific to that server, but there was demand to make it live before the weekend so that people could start forming kingdoms. A fix to Catapulting is in the works which will make raiding easier and releasing this update before that fix will help the transition. You should now be able to invite mayors to custom kingdoms which will convert the whole settlement Inactive non-citizen-owned structures in perimeter should start decaying very fast Mayors may now dismiss personal merchants on their deed if the owner has not logged on to that server for 1 month. Any items on the merchant will be mailed to the owner and remain for 6 months. Flanking modifier is now calculated on your mount if you ride one. Now when you destroy floors and walls which would cause a section of a structure to float in the air, they will instead remain as plans You may now climb down from floor opening plans There’s now visual feedback for the rarity drumroll 130117 - Sacrificing for village faith The value of sacrificing items for village bonuses has received a boost in order to keep the number of items in the database as low as possible. The combat rating effect of village war bonus was increased and works at low levels as well. The creation bonus now may give larger rarity window. All effective bonuses are divided by number of player citizens. Hint: The bonuses go down with 15% per day so it’s usually a waste to sacrifice if you manage to max the bonuses out. For the same reason, butchered items now have a lot higher decay rate. You may now examine (and detect hidden) mine doors below the surface of the water Shield bashing skillgain was increased Crushing weapons now do more damage to shields 130114 - Tutorial server optimization, reprospecting etc We’ve limited the number of initial faces on the tutorial server a bit, which should mean better performance.   5. The Labyrinth looked amazing! I rarely leave my deed let alone leave the server, but that so made me want to go. I do hope it gets a good home and doesn't decay into nothingness. So very creative.

  9. Reproduced. 2nd floor campfire, ash appeared on first floor. 3rd floor campfire, ash appeared on first floor. Both floors were wooden plank floors. - Stable client.
  10. Definitely an olympic feat. I suggest you make it a yearly event/contest. Have Faeran and Griph each start with an item to push from Northern Deli to Southern Deli and have people place bets on who will cross the finish line first. They need to be equiped with only the starter set a new player comes out of the tutorial with. Let them forage and botanize for their meals. (To make it EASY, be sure they pass a clay pit and a water source along the route).
  11. The reason I play Wurm is because I can, for the most part, play it the way I want to play it. I'm one of those people who rarely leaves my deed(s). Why? Because the game I enjoy playing revolves around terraforming, building, farming, animal husbandry and crafting. I'm a do it yourself kind of gal. My husband and I gather our own resources, make our own items, interact with our real life friends and assist those in our local when needed. There are reasons to leave your deed if you so choose, depending on your playstyle. Some people like to hunt, others like to explore. There are often player sponsored events that encourage community interaction - Impalongs, Festivals, Tournaments, Treasure Hunts, Etc. There have been posts asking for help imping up Market Stalls in FM, joining a militia to keep the streets around the spawn point safe for new players, singles or groups of people making stuff and handing it out in and around Freedom Market. We have many very creative and imaginative players. I especially enjoyed MD's Pirate Treasure hunt a (few) years ago now? Even my alt left her deed and found a treasure chest! We've never seen so many new 'faces' in local as we had during that hunt. Awesome stuff. Although we are limited by some game mechanics, it amazes me what people can think up and accomplish with some forethought and planning. Kudos to those who plan and run events. Bravo to those who take it upon themselves to help others in whatever way they can. And thank you to Rolf for creating a game I can play the way I want to play it.

  13. I've never seen a chicken live past the aged stage. I haven't had many at all, but the few I have had over the years all died natural deaths at aged. Has anyone seen a Venerable chicken?
  14. We have multiple problems with being able to plan floors on multi-story house ground floors as well. In the same house we can plan some floors and not others. Reported it, had it looked at, can't figure out the common problem so will wait for a fix.

  16. I also get the cultivate option on any floor on any story and on at least 2 types of roofs. I cultivated my slate roof and got this message: [21:31:20] You start to cultivate the soil. [21:31:24] The ground is cultivated and ready to sow now. However, I was not able to plant a flower after I cultivated my roof.

  18. Thanks Docterchese, I had not tested single doors since that was always a no previously. Before I start saying it's possible, I'd like confirmation from a dev as to intended or bug to be fixed, on both types of doors now. Would also like to know if this is ground floor only or multi-story. I haven't tried to push a bed out a second story building door.
  19. I was able to push/pull a bsb through a double door on a completed house. People in CA Help have confirmed that they've been able to do the same with beds and boats as well. Is this a bug or is this working as intended?
  20. Pigs do not graze on any type of tile. Harvest your crops and drop them in the pen. They will eat food dropped on the ground but will not graze on the planted tiles.
  21. Good point Wulfgar, that would explain the damage as I did plan the roof a day earlier, but didn't get to build it until yesterday. That explains the damage part. The wooden shingle roof was planned and built the same day so no damage. That just leaves the roofs and floors reporting that they are something else when improving

  23. The same thing applies to wooden shingle roofs. You start to improve the floor, you improve the wall - the roof gets improved.
  24. I don't even know where to begin. Bug - Repair/Improve thatched roof. 1. I built a thatched roof on a building that had a gravel floor previously. I did not plan a floor. 2. After the thatched roof was built, I grabbed a plank to improve it. I only got the repair option. 3. I'm not sure how the roof took 10 damage, it was just built. (message showed I repaired the floor) 4. Got another plank and got the improve option this time, so clicked it. Below is the log.
