  1. We will be opening it up to more stuff being able to be placed on walls in the future but it is not something we can easily enable on old items all together as there is some things models need to properly work with this and each item we add for this will need testing and possible tweaked to support placing them on the things but it is something we would like to work on support for in the future for sure.
  2. Oh whoops I seem to have set the stocking event to end after December and not on the 9th like it should will get a fix in for it when we can sorry about that!
  3. It was not properly enabled at the time of that patch which we found out recently so it will be properly enabled with holy sites this time.
  4. This is not reducing the cost to physically cast the spell, was worded bad there is an internal tracking of a deities total favor(gained from things like praying off cooldown for your god) and when it hits a certain amount it unlocks the ability to cast it. That is just making it so smaller servers get them unlocked at about the same rate larger ones do.
  5. So we had used some GM tools to make those images which colored it different then it seems players can its something will be looking into after the Christmas break though.
  6. All of the normal snowmen people received today instead of the statues should now be the statue version sorry for the mix up there and the late night patch wanted to get those fixed before anyone had one melt on them!
  7. Use your mouse wheel to rotate them when placing.
  8. We are looking into this one, will update when we have more info.
  9. We deployed a client fix for the map issue, let us know if you are still having the issue after reloading your client to download the update. Bugfix: Fixed maps not showing to some players in the world when placed.
  10. We actually managed to reproduce it and fix it with the steam client lead so we should be deploying a fix for that shortly, was not related to the rarity thing or settings related but I will bring that up see what may be going on there.
  11. We are still working on that one my apologies its a bit tough to track down as it is working normal for us in all our testing across the development team.
  12. Thank you for the info about where it was working and not that is very helpful, we have been looking into this one and hope to have a fix for it when we can.
  13. We added a tool for gms to be able to regenerate the maps properly at the same locations you will be able to put a ticket in for those starting tomorrow.
  14. Last night we received alarms that 4 servers went down suddenly together at the same time. We discovered that our database server that was handling those servers unexpectedly shutdown due to a lack of disk space available to it late into the night. We jumped into action and quickly cleared out some log files that had filled up all the room available to that service, and brought the servers back online shortly after. Many people may have seen a message like “Server shutting down NOW!/%7?o#### NO CARRIER”, this was a fail safe built into the game that will immediately and safely shut down any server if it loses its connection to its database, as it is no longer able to save any changes made on the server and anything past that point would just be lost on the next reset. We are working to ensure this won’t happen again but I felt that everyone would be interested in an explanation for last night's events.
  15. My fault for not having it actually go in when we announced it, we have made some tweaks to it on the test server we plan to put live Tuesday tho and will have an additional patch note for it then. My apology for the confusion here we will get another note out on Tuesday about it along with some tweaks to it from feedback.
  16. The test server has some tweaks to the current changes on it those will be going live next full update.
  17. Nothing changes about using it except its been moved to base war machine skill.
  18. There was 4 people total across every server with more then 30 skill in it and was by far the least used skill in the entire game and they now use base war machines as the skill. Fixing how the food affinities work is super tricky and it is something we want to investigate more but it is a rather large project on its own to keep everyone from rerolling all food affinities in the process or we would have done so long ago trust me its not fun for us either to have restrictions like this. The 4 people who had over 30 skill will be getting a unique title just for them soon, and the person who had the highest will also be getting a 2nd unique to them title as they where so far ahead of the next closest.
  19. Fixed in the last reset Fix meteors from having a chance to spawn the new holy sites metal. Paint brushes are now improvable.
  20. Ya would like to for sure get to issues like that and a few others bugs I've seen during our QOL focused period next year. So how that change came to be was we added more support for what kinds of data we can store on items and that chess change was more or less us testing it out and felt like we might as well throw it in for everyone vs just discarding it.
  21. The graphics pack update went out a little later then intended so you may need to relaunch your client to download that if you where quick to launch a client and seem to be missing the new graphics.
  22. Cartography Exploration Update Feature Cartography is a new skill that allows players to create maps of the land around them. Creating a map is started by creating a survey of the land you would like a map of, then using a completed survey on a cartography table to create the map. Once created, a map can then be combined with other maps, stamped with additional information and icons, copied for trading/distribution, added to an atlas, or displayed in-world as a decoration. There is a new journal available to everyone on login that will guide you though getting started and reward you with some helpful items on your mapping adventures. Once you hit level 10 Cartography you will unlock a second journal walking you through the creation and use of stamps. Surveying The first step in creating a map is surveying the land, which can be started by using a blank paper or papyrus sheet on a placed range pole. The range pole will mark the center of the surveyed area, and a series of actions using a dioptra on the survey will have you explore the area around the range pole to collect information about the land and improve the quality of the survey. Creating & Copying Maps Creation and copying of maps make use of the new Cartography Table and a few items that it can hold. As long as the table contains an ink brush, a blank map, and an ink pot containing ink or dye, using a survey on the table will let you start the Create Map action. If instead of a survey a painted map is used on the table, the Copy Map action will be available instead. Creating a map will consume the survey and both actions will use some of the ink or dye, and slightly damage the ink brush. At the end of the action, a new painted or copied map will be created. Although a painted map can later be combined with other maps and copied, copying will only work on original maps and you cannot make copies of copies. Combining Maps For creating maps of larger areas, the Cartography Table can be used to combine multiple maps into a single map. The combining window will let you move and resize maps to set them as you see fit before merging the maps into a single map. Stamps After a map has been created, stamps are used to add more information to the map - with both basic stamps just containing an icon and gemmed stamps that store extra information with the stamp depending on the type of gem used. Hovering over a stamp made with a gemmed stamp can show you information about villages, guard towers and mission structures, timed events, basic annotations, and even apply a hyperlink between maps or the world map - so you can mark a spot on the world map that your map relates to. Other Changes Ink pots will now act as a backup source for any reed pen action. Chess boards will now remember the positions of pieces and which turn it is between server transfers and resets. Fix an issue preventing servers from sending out emails. Fixed a font size issue on treasure map text. You can no longer get treasure maps on the haven tutorial server
  23. Spawned some more test ones in there, will see about some changes to make them last a bit longer may have been a little to short on the test duration. We appreciate all the feedback so far and we have been reading it. The next few days are going to be tied up with us getting all the notes/final testing and such together for the Cartography release, so we may not have much time to get answers/responses to some of the feedback yet but we are reading it and will certainly get back to everyone's concerns on issues brought up so far as soon as we can.
