+1 for moving animals across water, though I think the "livestock crate" suggestion floated in the replies to this thread would be better, allowing any ship large enough to carry the crates to use them. Another thing that bears pointing out (yet again) is that the devs really ought to check their facts when deciding whether a particular animal can swim or not. Most of the things that can't in wurm, can in RL. For example cows and sheep can swim very well, for long distances; an ability that is utilized by farmers to move them to new grazing land to this day - back and forth from small coastal islands, and across flood plains. Won't go into that too much as there are several threads about this already!

While I don't have much desire to play Wurm in 3rd person, I think it would be nice to have *some* kind of 3rd person option for people that have trouble with 1st person perspective. I personally know a fair few people who find it very difficult to play games in first person due to issues with vertigo, nausea etc. Some who are unable to play at all without 3pp. While it isn't a common problem, there are people who would have a much more comfortable experience playing in 3rd person. Whether it can be done in such a way that does not disrupt the game too much I don't know. A fairly 'zoomed-in' 3rd person or over-the-shoulder view sound like a fair compromise, to avoid peeking. "~1" if that's a thing?

It's a very interesting idea, but a -1 from me. This system just sounds far too exploitable for my liking. Basing such powerful decisions on player testimonies would open the door for collusion and frame-jobs. Aside from that, it would be extremely difficult to gather other necessary evidence without GM powers, and I do not believe that sanctions should be imposed on players simply based on hearsay. This would not offer enough protection to players against malicious and prejudiced use of the system. To make it anywhere near feasible GM, oversight would be necessary for every decision made by the council, which would in turn add to the GM workload. In any case, it would be so easily circumnavigated by use of alts that it would prove pretty futile as a barrier or deterrent to griefers and thieves.

Greetings folks, hope you've all had a good weekend! Got a rare 80ql birchwood range pole up for grabs. [16:44:58] A range pole used in surveying operations, it has bands of same thickness of alternating colours (white and red). This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. It is made from birchwood. Please note: It is not currently known (as far as I am aware) whether rarity on this tool has any effect on it's usage, but it is shiny Item located at P22, Xanadu.
