I agree with your idea, as for the "create new toon" responses, well, it doesn't take alot of reasoning to understand why this is not practical if you buy an account or want to adjust your high level main.

I just had a couple of ideas i wanted to put forth. The first is in regards to the wurm website, as you may have noticed on the main wurm-online page it has a big wurm-unlimited banner, and a few of my friends have been confused thinking this is the main wurm-online game because it's featured in such a big way on the front page. Whilst i understand those of us already playing wurm-online understand they are two seperate games essentially official and none official, i think it would be a good idea to adjust the main page so the Play Now wurm-online is more prominent and that perhaps wurm-unlimited has it's own dedicated page, i'm sure you all know what i'm trying to say here, And i'm confident there is some smart people around who knows what i'm suggesting and is able to think of a solution. I suspect Wurm is not gaining potential players because of this! Also a guide on how to install the game and client would be usefull because to a complete newb the client can be abit unusual compared to other games and it's hard to know what is going on such as that it is doing packupdates in the background prior to playing and you just suspect the game is not letting you hit play now! The second idea is to have more than one deed per character on the same server! I'm not sure why there is a limitation on this as a per-server rule, ecspecially for PvE doesn't make alot of sense to me? If one is willing to put up the dollars , why not? what do you guys think? ( i said this in-game but i was told to post a thread, although i suspect it's already been suggested before but now we have a ninja team of developers, maybe they could sort it out? i had this issue with idiots chargebacking on other games like runescape, and even happens if you sell crap on ebay so i dont use paypal anymore, maybe we should all consider using playerauctions since they have a escrow service to help stop this rubbish.

actually majority of wurm don't macro, many people don't respond to local, they could be semi afk or busy or just not want to speak to you, anyways i'm glad you got banned, the money i invest in this game fairly to grind up my skills it's nice to see that scumbags who cheat are banned, yes i think that lowly about players who cheat.

It would be a great shame to make Wurm to easy for newbies, It already has been in many ways since i started playing. Part of the charm for me personally was the brutal grind, the requirement to use your brain and have no easy ride, Wurm does retain players... Perhaps slower than other games yes but it's a completely different type of player that sticks to wurm, do we really want to be another Runescape, or WOW, or any other over-marketed game that is mindless and numb with no sense of acheivements? I hope not!

Dear people who sell things, Why must you list items as wts or auction without putting a price on? Is this a new trend or people always been this dumb? "make a offer" i hear you say, hmm okay who taught you that? ... have you ever gone to the local fish and chip shop and asked how much is the haddock, and they say hmmmm make a offer? so you do. you think oh weird! how about a silver coin? and they say LOL NO GO AWAY. To be honest, it's really crap business procedure not to state the price of the items you want to sell, or start price, of course they are your items and you can do what you like, but you're wasting my time with your shadow tactics. Don't want my money? don't have it.... can i get 1 like?. -Taz

Good post rolf, it eases alot of the uncertainty alot of people had. Even i had originally but i had confidence you wouldn't give up on your pride and joy. I see each server as the same server when they are connected with borders like differnt parts of the wurmiverse just with differnt Freedom channels

you're all being overdramatic, wurm isn't going to die, just like runescape or wow didnt because of private servers, it just exposes people to variants of the game, the main game will remain. and i personally aren't going to leave for instant gratification on a private server, i trust codeclub will keep my deed and not abuse staff powers or spawn items can you say same about player owned servers? ..

The arguing over silly things like pve v pvp, what you got to remember is we all have differnt tastes, and we all take something we enjoy out of wurm that's why we play, personally i hate pvp in any game, i prefer pve, why? i'm a carebear apperntly, and the whole thrill of someone pvping me and saying lulnoob like has happened in other games just sends my blood pressure through the roof, i know right why so serious? , well i am, so i prefer pve, of course not taking anything away from those who prefer pvp i say fair play and have fun, whatever you enjoy right?.

I Vote no, i don't want wurm to become easier it sets a dangerous proposal for other things, yes it's only digging and mining has this feature, but i just have a bad feeling. edit: would also nice to have a change like this on a ingame vote, since the vocal minority in the forums do not represent the opinion of all the playerbase.

Hi all don't want to create a drama but wanted to write a post for those of my friends who i have not had a chance to say bye too, i am leaving wurm online , for various reasons but i dont want to dwell on why... instead i want to talk about the good; I've met some great people in wurm, and id like to say thanks for that. (you all know who you are) And thanks to the wurm dev team and rolf who have persistently tried to make wurm better, even in the face of some annoying players (myself included on certain subjects pa etc:P) but you guys are doing a good job so keep it up im sure you'll be "ready" some time! Okay, i've ran out of things to say lol so take it easy everyone, have a nice life and hope you enjoy your wurm experience.. yours sincerely. Taz

More like sorry you got caught out, confused how people are quick to praise this post when only a day or two ago he was bragging with a cocky attitude in global...

I'm glad wurm isn't overpopulated like most other mmo's yes it turns in more profits for the game company but it lowers the gaming experience in my opinion, i prefer the small community of wurm, where you can get to know people in a way. to sum it up- more people = more chaos/madness. ps: those who stay usually stay forever, it's a unique game that you either love or hate.

Ban process seems fine to me, but i could be biast since ive never ran into the wurm police.

for the record brumahoff, i don't think many people will go near you with a barge pole if you were selling silver.

Won't be voting tory, all they do is sell everything and make the rich richer, they also want to abolish the welfare state which by the way most working normal people use too. They are a bunch of toffs i hate them, you could also say labour are the same but they get the flak for the recession even though it was a global problem with the banks. I'd vote SNP but being british ive no choice but vote UKIP to get us out of the EU (hopefully).# ps: may i also add the tories have borrowed more this parliament than labour did, but they still drole on about "tighten your belt, stay on the road to recovery, we're lifting our heads out of water, it's all hogwash , they were saying the same thing under thatcher when people were dying.
