  2. btw kegan... there is a trick... to make bulls and bison... cross your island... =] take an empty large cart... drag it in the water... face it toward the island... hitch animals... then unhitch... drag the cart further up the mountain... i mean... across the water... =] repeat til done... use a boat or a priest with refresh if u think you can't swim 50 tiles... I wanna say the bison we did that with ended up with some drowning damage... but i don't remember if the cart is too heavy to drag u can still push/pull..... its slow.... but... when u need it done... it is a current work around... technically you could make a bridge of 25-50 carts and just leave em in the water for transporting all kinds of animals that are hitchable over... long as your single cow doesnt die... =] if ur on epic maybe you can get and aged spirit to fling a tamed cow over the water... haha.

I play on both... honestly... the curve and gains in the late 90s still apply but are much less noticeable... but the fact you even got to the 90s... incredibly faster... with less failing... and the ability to make stuff along the way... yea.... i stand by legendary only on freedom.... i wanna see you grind a skill ( a real skill not cooking ) to 100 on freedom... then try telling me you think you deserve it on epic as well.... =] i mean i can start almost any skill in the game and get to 50 in 2 days on epic... easily.... 70 in about 4 days... 80 a week later some things are easier/harder of course... but it isnt hard... on freedom it is a lot harder to gain skill when you fail a lot more doing the same thing... I mean I can imp an item way above my skill gain on epic... and get good gains... cos guess what... im not failing... my curve gives me a bonus 15+ skill or so sometimes... i can make items that wouldnt even be possible on freedom at times... or with a higher % as well... Platesmithing for instance... goes up INCREDIBLY Fast on epic... needs nerfed... but plz wait til i hit 100 =]
  5. Well i got 2 things to take away from this... #1 everything is coming on valentines day... <3 wurm =] #2 Traders will end... eventually oh and they want a lot of the things i want... but i shouldnt expect any of it for the next 4-5 years. =]
  6. 1) Clothing that can be dyed... robes... etc for looks that could go overtop of armor... and give a much more customizable look and warmer "feel" for your Wurming time.... 2) More Versatility whilst moving around on boats.... 3) Treasure Maps...perhaps randomly found... maybe a "co-ordinate" system... Something similar to the Treasure Hunting done in Ultima Online.... yes I loved a good treasure hunt... good for village get togethers... events that don't take pvp still fun to do though! 4) Add more ways to earn sleep bonus... things that don't require logging out... say... Build a Hammock... must be in the hammock for 5 mins before it starts to save up... but I can just sit and relax listening to the ocean and wind and waves =] Or add graphics for actually lying in bed... lay down but don't log out. I can just be afk... or something... maybe Make those "tables and chairs" that have been in the game usable? "eat dinner" it sits down and starts eating for an hour and then i am awarded a little more sleep than had i logged out? 5) PERMISSIONS for doors on buildings... this was brought up last year during the Q & A as something that you guys were wanting to do... but i never heard a word since... this would be great for making apartments and stuff out of "bigger" buildings on deed rather than having to make lots of separate buildings.... also fix staircases? 6) NPCs that people can interact with... possibly start out with something simple... you pay NPC a set amount and it follows you around for a bit... you can equip it like a guard if you want... it helps you fight... or perhaps you can hire a healer to help heal you... one NPC at a time... they dont help with PVP only PVE... something fun Perhaps starting cities can have "wandering" NPCS that are invulnerable but can have little story lines they say and stuff... 7) Shoulderpads? capes? would be really nice... we have the slots... time to give me my red cape 8) SkillSet for Pets... Allow me to use "get info" to view skills or add a new skill like in Ultima Online... So i can spend my days grinding my pet's skills up....So maybe that horse won't always die when the troll or spider starts attacking it? 9) Perhaps Give Trader NPCs specific "orders" to be filled... Maybe he asks for 10 Decent Barrels... where he will actually give money for filling the order (albeit small) if not part of the current money... so as not to inflate the economy but make grinding more fun... 10) Allow more Housing Decorations... this is one game where we have actual Housing... people can walk by and see... etc... unlike many other games out there... Add things like vines to the walls... lattice.... paintings? Wurm logos? pictures of rolf? The ability to make "decor" for holidays? or birthdays? so we can decorate our houses to match special occasions and seasons? Larger tapestries or floor coverings... There are tons of thing's l'd like to see... talking about them almost makes me want to just go play Ultima Online again ;( I want to see more progression here Can't wait. Bridges look snazzy
  7. i plan on making lots of these " to the moon " bridges just to upset you people lol maybe we should just stop working on bridges since there is a chance someone might make an ugly one... personally ive seen a good number of beautiful houses built on slopes... and now that we cant... and things must be flat... well darn lets just remove multi story

I have a screenshot somewhere of me playing on 23 accounts i think... with timer bars going on all of them 6 is what i use to do on a lazy day lol my future priests and mains were doing the mining and digging and chopping while my junk alts were doing transporting and my main was doing high lvl stuff like jewelcrafting ah the days before 1.0 now i can only run 7-8 before clients start crashing. but i'll be getting a new computer after the holidays
  9. personally ive already lost 3 traders which is 150silver down the drain. and i currently own 2 traders which was 100s cost there as well... have i made 250silver off traders? no... but thats cos im lazy and dont drain them like i should... i also offer them to my villagers usually if they want to drain them but they usually screw up the ratios. As for what i do with the money... perhaps i buy an item from someone else... and then they use that money on premium... or i have someone new who wants to play the game but not spend real life money on it... make me bricks or something... so i end up with 4-5k bricks and he ends up with premium for a month... maybe he goes on to play for years to come... rather than trying the game for a few weeks and quitting cos he thinks he won't make enough to cover premium all the time... It is fair... everyone can purchase a trader... traders get a cut of money based on a total pool.... if everyone had a trader it wouldn't be as big a slice from the big pie The fact you dont have one and are complaining to us... doesnt make much sense to me... rolf would profit greatly if everyone spent 50s and bought a deed and trader... thats 60s atleast plus 1s upkeep per month and then we would all make fairly little from them compared to what we do now... which isnt that great. Traders do Not remove the idea that everything is player made... traders in fact only carry a "few" items like ressurection stones or twigs or whatever... everything else on the trader IS indeed player made. Someone had to make an item and sell it to the trader... then someone else can buy that item off it. Traders are pretty useful in that sense. I would love a keep the change button... =] or how about take funds from the bank instead of the funds on me... that would be even better. =] I like all your points though 1-4 I think traders should be customizable on looks... and or clothing. =] I also wouldnt mind a GUI to show merchants nearby with items on them for comparison... it does take a lot of time running back and forth and then u forget what merchant has what and stuff... almost need pen and paper when browsing... Also I personally wouldnt mind if traders became accessible like that... I would drain my traders every day and keep their ratios where they should be... I doubt someone else would known when mine gets money from the king or whatnot... or be able to drain them more efficiently than me... I could always put you on kos on freedom if you were becoming a nuisance. =] and on epic... I can just kill you. =] I don't see that 4th option happening though anytime soon.

Im sure many... possibly hundreds of people would pay for a name change... possibly multiple times over the years... rolf could make money by making it fair to everyone... i still don't get the whole... someone buying a banned account... then it gets unbanned.... o.O then possibly bought back? hmmmm..... I lived on mrh... if they are as up in arms as we... they can deal with it... and trust me... 100 noobs won't give them pause Is he allowed to macro too now? just wondering..... you know Most of the ppl that he brought last time didn't last... and many that did stay I don't think became premium... we took in some of the villagers since we were one of the closest villages to them last time... Also I did not like people with 1 skill mining our high ql iron an gold veins dry.. and making a mess of the area... putting their sticky hands on anything they could find... If I were on mrh.... Id prefer the rep requirement to be removed.. or perhaps they will raise rep easily with so many people... then war them give him the pvp he wants. =]

    Maybe that is because what we consider you doing is exploiting the system nos... we assume action will be taken... same reason we cant catapult your stuff cos it makes rep loss and then we get converted... we dont want to dance around the system to take you down...Because you decide you want to exploit it as much as possible... you can't have bl coming over and hiding in your base... and then mixing it up with JKH as well.. to attack other JKH people... Do you not see any of what you are doing as cheating or wrong? Doesn't even follow the lore of Wurm. PVP servers were made with the aspect of different kingdoms fighting... and primarily focuses on elevation as the battlefield... thats why all the nerfs on veins and cr bonuses and stuff are on the home servers. Inner kingdom fighting is allowed when you have land disputes and stuff... inner kingdom warring was fine and all that but you were griefing people just to cause trouble and piss people off... you enjoyed that... what reason would you have for trying to wreck LED mart? like honestly... if you are JKH what did LED do to you that pissed you off so bad to try and destroy it or something? Why attacking brand new people to the game? I honestly don't know how you can sit there and live with yourself thinking you are some great guy just playing a game and everyone else is crying... And if you think raiding has been nerfed that hard... and that is why you arent doing it... let me tell you... you were griefing long before those raiding changes... and if 5-10 people from elevation came over here in full gear and wanted to raid... they could probably still do it just as easily. Sorry it is harder to raid an empty deed when no one is online... but how many times have we actually stopped raids when people were on? Isn't that more fun? PvP ? not Pv(empty deed)?

    If you aren't going to be part of your faction then you are an enemy... griefing is not raiding... its exploiting the system to cause trouble. The gains are minimal. From what i heard... most of the griefing was directed at new people to the game as well.. killing "noobs" these are potential customers... If they enjoy the game not only do they stay but they get their friends to play... when you force these people to quit and hate the game they also will say bad things when asked by their friends who are possibly looking at the game... If you want more people in wurm... You don't obliterate the new people... and one of my villagers claims she was attacked by nosfire in her first 10 seconds in the game... :/ What's up with that... ? You are saying that you Nosfire with all his skills and weapons and experience should be able to slaughter any new person he wants... because that is what makes the game great? please leave now... thx bai!

I'm in favor of decay but not destruction. and 1 shaft could repair 20-40% you could make it pretty high so you don't need to spend lots of time repairing it... for the bigger community projects... and maybe reduce timers for them. if it is important to the community it would be maintained and as for the GM stuff... they can wave their GM wands and make them impossible to decay etc.. just like strongbox walls are no ordinary walls they are gm made Personally though... as they stand now are fine... like we said if it is deeded... you can remove the reinforcements... oh you have to deed? well thats money for rolf and this wonderful wurm (meditation and work) music... beating the anvil is my favorite song I'm not sure they should change anything that encourages more playing for free over paying to play The way it stands is a current drawback to not being premium or owning a deed. I've had villagers for months that don't even want to add a dime to upkeep though they reap the benefits of the deed the entire time. ;( if they want to go make a mine then they can live inside the cheese. just my 3 cents! =] Was two... but inflation
  19. they could add an item then... just like any other item... one of the 14 "tile decorations" you are allowed... and have it look like trim around the doorway snap it to the grid with turning and then push pull it til it covers the doorway... That would work for me ;P
  20. I'd be up for the whole general reinforcing deed timers thing... few changes... I know for a fact that when you go to raid people it can take many hours of preparation and travel... I'd rather be allowed to send a single person over and some how "trigger" that deed so when you log in you know that I have set up a "time" for the raid... I pick however many hours away the time will be +24 so you have plenty of notice no matter what time zone you are in... so say.... I arrive at 1am and tell your deed I plan on raiding 3am the following day... You log in at say 7pm... see the message... Dang... they gonna raid us in 8 hours... now you might have to play a bit and go to sleep maybe you have other stuff but you have been warned... you can plan for a defense or get other people to meet for defense... would even get the alliances and stuff some time to prep for the attack... at 3am i arrive with my forces... Battle ensues. There would have to be some sort of limit for the actual battle most likely... Say after 6 hours you would have to wait 18 hours again and send a new declaration of battle. Or Every time you destroy a wall the timer goes up 1 hour. That would give you 6 hours of defense before you are safe and the attackers can keep battling up to six hours... You would mean if you can keep your base safe for 6 hours you can safely log off with your alliance/friends and come back the next day. Each person could only give out one declaration of war at a time. This would #1 make it be on the time of the attacker... but still give defense a chance to gather forces. #2 stop griefers from griefing deeded areas. #3 encourage people to place/live on a deed I think right now as raids stand... We don't generally have enough people prepared at any given time. 1-2 people won't hold back a raiding group of 10+ even back in the day i think we needed 4-6 noobs to hold back 4-5 "pvpers" and i do mean hold back... thats all we could do... it was quite thrilling making trips into the mine and cutting brick and rushing them to the walls... just as our last brick went to the wall fresh ones arrived *wiped sweat from brow* pvp isn't too fun right now. I prefer to stay out of it generally ;P Maybe when this sorcery stuff picks up... (im not going to become one)
  21. how about on the pvp server they just become unlocked to everyone so you can exploit them as tunnels or whatnot. and on freedom they can be locked and used as normal. Just some kind o warning before people pop out of them on accident then realize they are stuck inside someone's house ;P I'd personally rather have tunnel doors/walls before working on cellars I wouldn't mind an actual "cellar" where instead of making the ground flat... you have to actually mine to the rock and surfce mine it flat first... then when you place the house you get the option of making a cellar... and like making any wall or whatnot... once the house plan is up you mine it say 20 times to "create" it .... won't drop down right away... you have to then decide how deep you want each tile with further mining... and there would be a limit (since it is a floor in a house... so that the cellar isnt more than say 2x a regular floor height? or whatnot... Also you can't extend it further than the actual house plot... and there must be a check for the tiles underneath to make sure they aren't already mined out. of course... before we make cellars... Let's fix staircases its been 8 months now and they still don't work these ladders are giving my hands splinters! ;P but yea... a cellar would be nice. doesn't have to make pvp any harder... and make it so it only acts as a basement for a house not some big cavernous tunnel to other areas or houses
  22. i voted.... no I rarely lose more than 2 tower guards when im fighting them alone... they have no aoe stun far as i know and i dont see them focusing me or anything... drake spirits on the other hand can do that aoe stun 3-4 times in a row and kill you right out sometimes... other times yea i can solo them not a problem. but the fact that its all luck makes it scary ;P and they throw you off your mount onto cliffs ( i live next to mountain) which would kill me instantly and they run through buildings and stuff my villagers currently shoot no gumps in the eyes with wood =] nogumps wont enter buildings so far thats a pretty big nerf if anything... would u rather see nogumps be a little slower but not be restricted like the spirits? personally these are valrei spawns... i didnt mind when they were even more OP before... i remember a gm said once they were suppose to be virtually unkillable... back when they first came out people on mr were dominating drake spirits and using them as tanks... even that wasnt enough lol took the whole kingdom to gather together to bring them down. I sorta like that... the fact we want every single mob to be soloable... well... why play wurm? go play Skyrim btw they arent on freedom servers... only chaos... can always moves there ;P i have villages if you need to be protected from the wild and rampant pigs and dogs. =]
