  1. So I seem to have the latest version (it does say "Aldur's Wurm Assistant (3.3 stable-win R113 P:Windows)" in the app title). But when I go into the Granger "Value presets config", I'm not seeing any of the new traits. Just the old ones *scratches head*
  2. Thank you so much Aldur! And just for those of us who are a bit clueless, the update comes in automatically once we start WA, right? In the logs I see: Info > AppMigrationsManager > Wurm Assistant data is at version 3. No upgrade required. So this means it's now up to date, right? No new version downloads necessary?
  3. Yeah it appears when you start the breeding action. If you see the orange text, you can cancel breeding by pressing Esc and just breed it with another one. Cancelling a breeding action is fine. It won't turn your animal into "not in the mood" thankfully. 🙂
  4. Don't you worry Aldur, go at whatever pace you need to! And let's all remember (just to take some pressure off of Aldur) that now of course there is the new feature in Wurm that helps us see if we're about to inbreed related animals. (the orange warning text in the Event window) I'm not sure about you guys, but at least for myself - the inbreeding issue was one of the main reasons I needed Wurm Assistant to begin with! But of course, the application is a wonderful treasure trove of all sorts of other goodies as well!
  5. I couldn't have said it better myself. Aldur, we love you very much. You're a gem!
  6. Lots of horses have been restocked, and more importantly - prices have been SLAAAAASHED mostly in half! Check out the full listing of horses + prices
  7. I have 2 characters with Animal Husbandry. Malena on the old servers, Saphireena on the new servers. Malena started her journey in life in 2013 and once she was finally able to breed 5-speeds in 2015, she opened up her horse market on Xanadu. Everything was hunky dory until her AH skill quickly hit the dreaded 60 skill mark. Every horse breeder is faced with this dilemma before long and many solve it by creating additional alts. I didn't want to burn myself out on Wurm however, so I decided to go a different route and just sell "5-speeds with additional good traits" instead. As many of you know, I've been selling "5-speed + spark" horses on Xanadu for years now and the plan was that when Malena hits 70 (she has 69.63 now) that I'll just add another positive trait like "strong and healthy". Although choosing this path has surely lost me a lot of potential customers who go for pure 5-speeds, it's all worked out in the end because I managed to find my own niche in the horse selling business and have become known as the one selling nice riding horses with "added benefits". When the new servers were released last summer, I started up my character Saphireena and naturally wanted her to be a horse breeder as well. Once she hit the 50 mark, admittedly I did pause to think about what I'm going to do. In the end I decided to stick to the formula that was working so well for me on Xanadu, so I intentionally raised her skills to over 60 as well, so I could get spark in there. I figured that since all other breeders are selling pure 5-speeds, it would probably be wise to stick to my niche over on the new servers as well. Saphireena's current skill is 62.96. So it's just the two characters with AH. I do have alts, but they're only for digging and mining stuff. I hope you enjoyed that little story and that it that answers your question Cessi 🙂
  8. Thank you so much for the purchase! I hope the horses serve you well 🙂
  9. I won't comment on the actual speed/strength mechanics, however from the visual standpoint, what you describe is pretty much exactly what the above already is, only simplified :). (so instead of having all the world's breeds, arabs and other nimble breeds have been packaged into the "hot blooded" body type, morgan's, clysedales, shires etc have been packaged into "cold blooded" etc) If you look closely, you will see that the hot blooded model is pretty much an Arabian. The cold blooded is meant to be a draft horse shape etc.
  10. On the topic of new horse shapes: For anyone interested in the background of how this came about, anyone remember that suggestion I made many years ago about having different horse shapes? My thinking was that with a few tweaks of the mesh, we could literally triple the amount of horse variations in the game. And since we were now working on the animal update, I figured I'd show the team this old suggestion and to my surprise and delight, they really were enthusiastic to actually put this into motion! Now these old files I worked on were only done in the standing pose, so although I've handed the files over to to the team, it might be that slight alterations are needed to make them work with animations. However I do hope we can get as close as possible to these shapes. If anyone wants to see these suggested shapes in all the various horse colors, you can check them out here:
  11. Breezzy I believe you meant to put this message here instead of into our private messages, so I'll just add it here on your behalf. Thank you very much for the kind words, I'm glad that it all worked out in the end *smiles*. Thanks again for your business!
  12. Hey Breezzy! My deepest apologies that this happened! I'll send you a PM and get this sorted out for you ASAP, with compensation of course as well. Nothing worse than coming all the way over from Cadence to have this happen!!! I do try to be very careful with the keys to make sure they work and regularly do a check with my non-citizen alt to check and make sure she can open all the gates, but looks like I missed this one this time. * blush *
