  2. I voted yes, because I want the GM team working on bugged out players and proper griefing, not "was-this-theft-or-or-not-he-said-she-said" There is systems  in game to properly secure your items. Even for a free player. Yes they can be rough on new players not understanding or bothering to read up, but they are there. New permission system will (probably) make this even easier, so lets see it ingame before we demand further action.

And like in the past, present and future, lets shame those stealing from neewbies, and help the newbies understand how to secure items and get back on their feet.

  3. I have a deed on a mountaintop. It took me 5 parts of forever just getting up there with a refresh Fo priest, a tent and dieing a lot. Bringing clay up there is just not a good option. Luckily I had a builder alt I wanted up there too, so I loaded him with clay before using the one time teleport to deed. The funny thing is, I really don't need  alot of clay up there, just enough for a forge, a well looks better then a fountain, and maybe a stone altar. It wouldn't destroy regional trade letting me use some hard, time consuming way to make a few "crude clay" or mud kiln. Dried straw, mud and water are used as building material in most part of the world, please Rolf, don't force me to build a road from a 4k mountain top, just to  get a few clay every blue moon.

That being said, we can make gold out of rock with a transmutation staff, why not use the same mechanic to make clay out of sand/dirt, at the ridiculous expense it is today, for those rich enough to not being bothered with a long haul.

  4. It's with great sorrow I've decided to sell my first ever deed, "The Humble Abode" to the highest bidder.

    On deed/in house Trader

Main building with basement, and cave entrance on the front. With a few transformation rods, you can turn the basement into a perfect in-house mine.

On deed harbour almost fully terraformed.

Place on deed for both knowledge and love tile

    Enchanted horse pens.

    Off deed farm/grove possible.

    Guard tower just off deed.

Loads of BsB's on deed, some left over stuff in them.

    Mailbox next to Token

Stone Vyn altar on deed (edit: Gold mag altar is gone)

Off-deed mine with on deed entrance with loads of iron and 2 copper vein (1 good and 1 very good)

Clay and tar not far off, but off deed

Good hunting grounds on Goblin peninsula

    Very nice neighbors

And COME ON!!! THAT BASEMENT! It cost me more then 2k concrete, but how many houses with a proper basement on have you seen :)

  5. Let me guess: northern half of Xanadu and much open undeeded space around you ? My observations show me that most of the complains about " no mobs" come from the southwest end of Xan where there is deed next to deed and so creatures have to room to spawn and roam.

Correct. If you want to hunt elephants, you don't settle in New York and complain about the lack of targets :) The  problem is when those New Yorkers give millions (in tears) to breeding programs (Rolf), and thousands of lions(trolls) are dumped the african jungle (my backyard).

  6. The Devs have explained some of the spawn mechanics. "Need tile, need tree close by, 2 clay  tiles within 10 tiles, and so on and so on.." I have a huge olive forest on one side, a birch forest on the other. Most mobs spawn in the forest, not on the plains. Sure, it's easier to hunt on a plain, but you'll empty it fast.

Edit; Not to mention Wurmin population, The one guy I've seen in my local the last month, couldn't handle the trolls.

  7. I still see people complaining about mob count on Xana... Please Rolf, for the love of yourself, do not drop any more mobs in my backyard! The picture under is not really from hunting, just cleaning up a little just around (30 -40 tiles in one direction) my deed with a little help from a nice neighbor and some brave guards.

  8. Anyone tried running Wurm on a rasberry Pi (2)?

I need a smeller platform to do some grinding tasks (like surface mining, brick & mortar making and so on) within Wife Agro range, and if this could run Wurm on crap settings, I'd have a few more hours of online time...

    Anyone?
