  13. Hey just logged in to see your responses, thanks really appreciate it! :) And thank you also whoever deleted that message from that guy! More than open to constructive criticism but that wasn’t that! :D I love Wurm and have spent many years playing, just decided to try my own stuff that’s all. Thanks again! :) Will try to update the post from time to time.
  14. Yeah same ;), I think Exodus springs to mind as my longest standing server account but not sure. Thanks for checking this out though, and your comments :). All the best with the future of Sklotopolis! Nyt.
  15. Hah thanks really appreciate that! I guess we all have different interests but hopefully it will appeal to a few! My current action plan is to keep working on it each day and see how it comes together in the long run and hopefully when I release a test version people will no doubt give feedback on their experiences etc :). Thanks for your time! Nyt.
  16. Hey Sklo! I think we used to play WO at the same time, used to be called 'Timecatcher' but anyhoo, your question: I use the Godot engine :), I like coding from scratch but with 3D there's no point in reinventing the wheel. Love what you've achieved with your WU server by the way! Nyt.
  17. Evening all! Some of you may know me, I played Wurm Online from 2008 and then more recently Wurm Unlimited. In short after years of playing games, like Wurm, The Sims, Minecraft, Ark etc all the same kind of genres I decided that I'd like to give it a go at making my own. So I want to present the teaser trailer to my new project 'Everstead'. Been working on it for about 2.5 months now and starting to taking shape gradually. Everstead Teaser Trailer FEATURES: -Explore the world of Prosperity and survive in its environment. -Construct buildings to enhance your world and progress from just surviving to thriving! -Collect Prosperity fragments around the world which give a variety of perks to your character. -Manage a variety of simulated player stats (Hunger, Thirst, Energy, Joy, Health etc) So yeah early days and in the new year or towards the end of this horrible one I'm hoping to start doing development logs on my YouTube, be cool if you guys could give it a moment of your time. I appreciate not everyone will like the simulation theme but hopefully I can offer something a bit fresh doing survival with simulation, and trying to offer creative options for players to make their mark on the world. Thanks for your time. Have a safe end of the year! Nytician.
  18. Found a village thanks.
  19. Its understandable that people want new servers as its well... new but at the same time as others have already mentioned the population doesn't warrant the addition of new ones at the moment from what I can see. Not all bad news though as with people leaving previously hard to settle areas are starting to become available again and the remaining settlements are generally of a higher quality. As for respawning uniques I completely agree with Shrimpiie, it would be very difficult to balance the experience with the amount of Drake dropped. The alternative could be to not drop drake every time or to drop a lot less of it and have them respawn often.

  22. Hi thanks for your comments! Right now Silakka the world is one big one and its less about 'tile based exploration' and more about what you do with the land.. lots of games allow you to explore etc but then at most you build a house or a few buildings (wurm excluded) the goal here is to get the resources and focus on managing your current projects and starting bigger new ones! Also as a long time Wurm player there are timers and yes I'm fiddling with them to work out how long everything should take. Thanks again, Will update every time I have something interesting to show! 23. Good Evening, Been a little while but here's an update on the progress of Kuruko, just wanted to make sure I had something a little interesting to show off. Since last time: #Fixed Bugs #Updated Art #Added Key Commands #Display List Scroll Resources #Added Timers to User Needs #Added Basic Day/Night Cycle #Ground Work for Explore System Screenshots: Next Up? #Completing Basic Explore #Implementing Inventory System F.A.Q 11.06.2013 Can you enhance on what Kuruko is? Kuruko is a 2D non-scrolling game where you control everything through various windows. The goal is to manage a world and enjoy life, you choose what you wish to do. Automate the production of various materials through 'projects' (such as farms, energy efficient factories and more), explore the world and find 'locations' that will enhance your life and provide you with rare items and blueprints, delve into 'Kuruko science' and create new elements to change the face of your world. From the start of the game can you describe what kind of game play you'd expect? Yup, so from the beginning of the game you'll be greeted with a voice acted introduction to the 'Kuruko project' and its origins followed by the Kuruko Console providing you with a list of things you can do with your program (world). Initially most people will want to build projects to build a working world. You'd head into 'World Explorer' and then 'Explore' to start finding the basic materials and resources for a house and food. You would press the 'X' key and wait for a short timer to complete which would then show you what you've found (not just items, but locations, artifacts, 'glitches' etc). Next you'd proceed to the 'Projects' page and choose from the available blueprints, which would show you the resources needed to build. (Emphasis is on the projects, items and exploration and less on crafting recipes although the way you unlock blueprints should be interesting in itself). So in conclusion I'm half writing all of this for myself to keep my mind on the right direction but things are shaping up nicely, I'm pleased with the progress of 'Explore' and think it'll be great fun to see it come together. As usual leave your comments and thoughts below, thanks!
