i keep getting banned, so..well Rolf, i hope THIS gets through.. In over 15 years of my gaming life, i can say i found peace here. Unfortunately, i have had some really bad luck which led to events that i couldnt even imagine. I can not really type all AGAIN in detail (i`m banned in game, banned on forums) but here is the situation which i thought you should know; i will not be around, but i do respect your effort and hope the best for this game. long story short version: i started at Black Dog Island (26x 27y ) of Independence. First day of my game i met someone, who said all good spots were taken. But i was determined..after searching 5 hours i found a tiny bit of land at where is now called Fiftteen men (26x 27y).. The land was Marsh, and it was underwater...i filled 500+ tile 4 tile 80 slope deep ocean with NO digging skills and a small cart for months, killed the marsh with floorboards and built a town. I enjoy colective effort, thus i formed businesses and started recruiting people. at times, our towns had around 20 active people and it was much fun.. in following months i came to realize that my neighbors (namely OTG guild) was planning to take over the entire island and i was becoming an annoyance for them.. So our story begins.. I have faced any and every form of harrasment possible in one year which are not `illegal` by game rules: - blocking paths between our deeds - killing our maple, cedar, fruit forests - building random structures and fencing them in critical locations around our towns - threatening to KoS us. - posting on forums saying we are `thieves` - which was luckily removed by mods as it was false accusation - threatening us with bans as they have GMs in their ranks.. all this time, i did nothing vs these, but tried to contact them, consult them, be in peace with them..i am 35 years old businessman (too much detail ) but i really need you to understand my position, i dont need any kind of drama and i prefer to stay away from such.. it is a really long story indeed and as i am getting banned on every platform to express my discontent, i dont know what else to do but to send a message to you, this is really like fighting versus windmills, just like the Don Quixote... But Firstly, if you insist on claiming GM abuse, I would like to see PROOF, not just conspiracy theories. you bring me hard evidence that a GM is abusing you and It will be handled. the Rules are clear, take ALL moderation issues up with Enki or Oracle. until then you are blustering and spouting accusations for which have no merit. WHOEVER you are, if you post a comment or a reply to anyone, you should give them a chance to reply. you probably thought you would add + to your cool by silencing the poster? no it didnt happen the solution you suggestes was tried by me already..IF YOU ARE REALLY KEEN ON LISTENING, OR HAVE THE GUTS TO SOLVE THIS, THEN TELL ME: YES I have solid evidence, i mailed to developers, i got banned I tried to mail GMs, got banned I posted on forums (nicely banned I tried to contact Rolf, banned now TELL ME, how DARE YOU tell me the ways to use appropriate ways to contact management? EMAIL ME, CONTACT ME, SHOW THE SLIGHTEST EFFORT TO RESOLVE THIS INSTEAD OF SATISFYING YOUR EGOES WITH THE E-AUTHORITY GIVEN TO YOU JUST ONCE..and i shall never bother you good people again.

Hi, I have heard this idea/update from a friend in-game and found the post here, i must apologize for my post, it will not be one of constructive criticism. As we all know, keeping a large town with an active population and well maintained is not very easy. Given the fast player circulation, one has to spend extra effort to keep the wheel turning. (We constantly plan new town projects, and have 2 companies taking bulk orders etc) I am not going to list in detail all the hardships/annoyances here to stay on the topic, and yet yes, if we dont have such, what is there to do in wurm....right, its all about challenges. HOWEVER, instead of fixing current problems (losing ships full of goods in cave canals due to game bugs while delivering customer orders and being asked NOT to /dev for such, etc) why would you come up with such brilliant ideas that would give us more headache.. We have 100+ street lamps in our town and with this update, are we going to rely on guards constantly getting killed by super-buffed scorpions with 4x attacks to keep the town from darkness? (sorry, not having spirit guards, they are expensive, period.) maybe instead of trying to work countless hours for town upkeep making thousands of bricks / mortar and such for clients we should use another ridiculous feature like `milking a trader` for silver and hire a town idiot to keep the lamps up at all times... i apologize again not reading all related posts here, may have missed a couple of points but this is a HUGE disappointment on our side. i find it more difficult everyday to stop myself from selling everything and moving on as `updates/fixes` like this making it impossible to keep honest work rewarding. I truly hope this nonsense will not be implemented.
