  1. Apparently the tutorial improvements are not appearing here. Too bad. I wasn't given a proper digging tutorial as it was broke telling me for some reason I couldn't dig.
  2. Is this where the in-game map thing comes in as well as the tutorial improvements?
  3. server down?

I see in the server list the number of players yet I can't log in. I have Network error: <Connection timed out: connect> trying again...
  4. Neroden

    Hope you are ok!
  5. yes 0/0 server as it says in the list
  6. I am going to bump this for people still having an annoying sudden camera swing when clicking around the screen. Most notably this happens with Windows 8 if you do not have all the updates, and after 8.1 there is another update that corrects some issues with some games listed. This should already be available in your Windows Update if it is not set to automatically download and install for you. If after this is installed and it still doesn't fix it, then try doing the regedit and cmd command at the middle of the page. NOTE THE WARNINGS. It really isn't that hard if you carefully follow the instructions. I just applied this to my EQ II installation since it was doing it there and will do some before and after testing, recording it, to show here. Here are some MS reference links to forums: mouse lag in video games since updating to win 8.1 - Microsoft Community Mouse still lagging even after the update in games. - Microsoft Community
  7. I already know of multiple people/posts on the Google products for YouTube forums where various so called license holder companies claim content that is not theirs to claim, or the content ID system says it belongs to them. There is one place that has a YouTube section on their Contact Us page that says if you have received a claim that you need to be looked at, then fill out the form they have there. I had a claim removed within a week of doing this, saying I would contact the publisher myself (this was a game released back in 1999 with ambient sound/music in the background a full minute or more before the claim was noted on my video). I told them according to wiki (yeah...) it was supposed to be under public domain. The publisher didn't know as it was so far in the past and all those employees scattered elsewhere.
  8. I once had a strike on an unlisted/private Dr. Who clip meant for 1 person to see. I contacted BBC Worldwide Youtube/Dr. Who acct as well as Tweeting explaining the situation and asking for a removal (acct was struck down to 15 min videos). They replied back that since it was unlisted they would remove it. Sometimes human contact is needed. I think there is much automation with Youtube content ID appeals.
  9. The first 3rd party content ID match I got was from a company that I tracked down (don't remember the name) that appears to handle the rights to your singer guy's stuff as it had his name on it I think. I will have to try turning the music on again for my next upload and see if it has been updated then.
  10. Well the problem with that is YouTube matches 3rd party content with some of the songs.
  11. It appears I must make myself clear then: ITPalg, on 05 Dec 2013 - 2:04 PM, said:
  12. My first day of playing I had someone talking to me that had been playing a year and still only used auto attack as they didn't understand it. Reading http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Fighting I still don't understand it. Playing on PvE I made a comment about fighting and the keybindings I noticed in the keybindings file I downloaded and installed that used the number pad for lower/upper/protect etc. A reply in chat told me that those are really used for PvP. That wiki page also talks about things I don't even see on my screen, such as the eye, and everything else below the standard def/agg/ranged bar. For PvE do I just turn on auto attack and read a webpage on my other screen?
  13. I would like to point out that Windows 8 does not give you any text to copy on an app crash so you are forced to use the Event Viewer.
