  1. As of today's update, the deed upkeep payment options seems to be missing from the settlement info tab. I mean the one that was at the bottom of the page when you select settlement info from token. If you are the mayor, it seems you can still pay upkeep by choosing the manage guard tab, the option to pay upkeep is now there. However, that means you can no longer pay upkeep on deeds where you don't have the rights to manage guards.
  2. Just curious, how many premium players were there in the good old days before 2006 compared to now? Would it even be technically possible to play all on one server now? (My guess is not). Maybe I'm totally wrong, but I guess Wurm must have been awesome in the start, with a small and very tight community, and for those that played back then, it can never be the same, since there are more players, and they are more widespread over many servers. I have to agree with one thing though, and that is that the separation of the game into Freedom/Chaos and Epic is a bit odd. But it doesn't really interfere with my gameplay, especially now that I can still chat and keep in touch with friends even if they are on other servers.
  3. Since I've only been here since autumn 2011, care to elaborate why the beta was so good? What exactly was better then? I'd really love concrete examples, because such a post as this, with only a general "it was better back in 2006" is just hard to take seriously for us "newcomers". For me personally, Wurm is better now than it was 2011.
  4. Thanks a lot for all your work, and I really hope you can spend the rest of sportlovet with your family.
  5. Removed because it was unnecessary. *shrugs* Nothing to see here.
  6. This. Well said. I will continue paying for my prem accounts from the shop, and the upkeep for my deeds from trader money. In the time I've been playing (since september 2011), the cost for 2 months premium has gone from 106 SEK to about 88 SEK, that's a lot of money (as in, a lot of less money for Rolf), so I fully understand the cost of it has to increase.
  7. Xogold is safely back in his pen, I hope he'll stay there this time. Thank you. Thread can be closed.
  8. Seems like Xogold (brown horse) escaped from the pen, probably sometimes late friday. He had WoA equipment, so I really would like to have him back. Anyone seen him wandering around, probably in the area southeast of Green Dog?
  9. That's a pretty silly overinterpretation. Noone is scared, but it's ugly and useless. If Rolf had created the desert, we would have had the choice not to settle close to it, so I don't understand how you can compare those two things.
  10. If it's a community project, it sure hasn't been well advertized. Honestly, it looks horrible, why do we need a desert? At least plant trees along the highway to make travelling along it bearable and hide the eye-sore.
  11. OMG!! Where are all the Fo priests when you need them? What treekillers did that?? *cries*
  12. I think there are several methods. Off-deed building in a house is probably best, though annoying to stand in a 1x1 shack and tear it down afterwards. I am going to build my ship on-deed, so I have flattened an area by the sea, that is at level 0. This means I can still build fences, but also drag the ship through gates. I then built a fence around the flat area, and built a gate towards the sea (and one to the road of course). I can build the ship in there, and then simply drag it though the gate. For this to work, you need to have the body strength to drag the ship of course.
