I know I've been posting this quite a lot but.... It seems to work.
Go into your Wurm directory (default My Documents), and delete your packs folder. Try relaunching Wurm.
If that fails, type this in Start > Run: javaws -viewer. Click on Wurm Online (doesn't matter which), and hit the red X at the top of the screen. Now, before you reinstall, go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, scroll down until you find Java 6 Update 7; remove it. Now, go to the Java Website and follow the steps in reinstalling Java. Now, try to launch Wurm.
If that fails... please post your computer specs by right-clicking My Computer and hitting properties. Read off the things at the bottom under the Computer section. Also, if you know your graphics card, that would help.

Use a Pendulum. I guess that's one good use of being a Goldsmith, if QL affects success at finding water.

With an actual dynamic water, or at least some kind of weather system, this could allow crops, trees, flowers, and even grass to grow faster during rainy days.

Compost should become a sort of fertilizer if your just throwing away meals and casseroles.

I'm just saying the people you converse with and help could have a great potential. It's not the skill that makes up a village, it's the community it's founded around.

It takes some time to get one up and running, but basically, have a plan, a layout, and some projects to keep you busy. Invite people, help them out, you never know, they could become the next 90+ Plate Armour Smith.

Plus you can carry a ton of stuff with you without any speed disadvantages.

I'm going about 20 degrees angle against a strong breeze at 10.12km/h right now. I'm in a sailboat though.

The stone chisel for me was either too wide, or too skinny.

That's what I figured, in fact, the first LW icon I made was basically that. Decided not to since the in-game model didn't match it.

There are different varieties of leather knives out there, so I'm guessing you just used a different one.
Also, added another chisel.
