  1. I still can't get it... and never could since I first start playing... why all this competition in a basically non competitive game (at least on Freedom). The way I see things: we all got some FREE GIFTS, some more valuable, some less valuable; why not be happy with the gifts each of us get, say thank you and move on; why instead be grumpy that the kid next to you has nicer toys? I got only the potion, not even the egg or fireworks, not to mention moon metal or other cool stuff. Would I have wanted those? Hell yeah. But that doesn't mean I'm not happy with my free potion... at the end of the day it was a FREE GIFT. So thank you for my potion and for the chance to get more in the future. I'm not paying my premium for reward and I won't paying it for rewards. I'm paying it because I love the game (although I still hate grinding and would love to have it removed ). ANY bonus, no matter how insignificant would be, is just an extra something. And instead of being envious of people that got cool stuff, I'm honestly happy for them. And that even benefited me someway too - how else I could have bought a transmutation rod for only 22s. So... once again... THANK YOU, ROLF!
  2. Order placed: http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/50940-sarmatian-traders-the-oldest-bulk-supplier-on-exodus-back-in-business/?p=926729
  3. As per Trader's offer: 2k bricks and 2k mortar delivered to location X23 Y38 on Exodus map for 10 silvers (2 * 2s for bricks, 2 * 3s for mortar, free delivery) For details about delivery please discuss with Finnieh. For payment please PM me here in forum or characters AlexDunphy or Zapacila in game.
  4. WTS sleeping powders - 1s each No delivery, pickup only from coastal location on Exodus server. At this moment I have two, but I think about buying more premium so may have more if finding a good buyer.
  5. Standard price, whatever that is - I think is 2s/k for bricks and 2.5s/k for mortar, so like 9s/2k+2k or 10s/2.2k+2.2k Not for me, but for a friend, whom I owe them. I didn't even lived at the location ever.
  6. This means that my rare craft will be lost... but well... it's OK... not really a tragedy. Hope at least we'll get some SB for all these hassles.
  7. Hello folks, I have some bricks and mortars in someone's cargo, but it looks like he's in a prolonged vacation, and since I can no longer wait I would need to buy like 2-2.2K mortar and 2-2.2K bricks. They must be delivered to location X23 Y38 on Exodus map. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can help with this. Thank you! Cheers, Alex
  8. Please close; this is no longer true since a while - both bought and sold quite a few coins since then.

  10. Still curious about the answer to this question.

  12. Suggestion: make this WTB/S a sectiom of Wood scraps; this would cleatly show is not some regular trade, but some off trade, not encouraged, but just tolerated, just like talking about other games is not encouraged, but just tolerated.
  13. Got a private buyout offer of 80 euros for deed and one char. Unless I got any buyout offer higher than this (81-100 euros) in the next four hours, I will sold it for this.
  14. Please post only if making a bid; any message not representing a bid will be reported for offtopic. Thank you! Hello folks, After some debating with a couple of friends, I decided that epic servers may better suit me - faster skill gain, lot more actions and an actual way to "war your enemies". ) That's why I'm trying to sell my freedom deed and use the money gained to make myself a faster start on the Epic cluster. The deed (The Hermitage) is located on Exodus server, on coordinates (X28, Y12) on this map (where on the map appears the Hippy Valley deed). It is in a very good position, coastal, accessible easily via boat canals boths from Esert and from the northern shore (from Esert is a 10 minutes run or 5 minutes boat trip, but still a rather isolated place, without many strangers venturing around). The deed is not all flat, but most of it was terraformed - some surface mined and digged down, some raised from the water. The real size is 65x65 (32x32 in deed settings) - 4.225 total tiles, a standard perimeter and it has one guard. The deed has like 41 silvers in maintenance. The deed also has a trader. Talking about resources, it has: iron, silver, copper, tin, lead, marble, tar and nearby clay. There are also two guard towers - one on deed, one on perimeter. Hundreds of trees (including lots of oaks), some animals, a few full BSBs and carts, as well as three set of tools are just details I don't even consider worth mentioning. What should be mentioned though is that it also has a supreme floor loom. It also has four buildings, but nothing really impressive, so I won't make many print screens. You have here one to get a view over a part of the deed, but pretty much is quite virgin / terraformed land and nothing more, so your imagination is the only limit about what you can do with the spot. Now about the price. 1. According to this tool placing such a deed would cost 86 silver and 50 coppers. 2. The deed has in coffers like 41 silvers. 3. A trader contract costs 50 silvers. So the total cost for placing such a deed would be 1 gold 77 silver 50 coppers (hard verifiable facts, no need to trust my word on this). At the shop price of 160 euros / 1 gold, that means 284 euros. But I don't want 280 euros. Not even 260, 240, 220, 200, 180, 160, 140 or 120 euros. All I want is 80 or 100 euros. And yes, that's the buyout price, not the starting price or anything. Starting bid: 50 euros Increment: 5 euros Buyout: 80 - 100 euros Duration: 48 hours Private bids NOT ACCEPTED, send PM only if you're willing to pay the buyout price. PS: Since stats don't transfer on epic, if you want, I can also leave you one of my premium characters absolutely for free. No high skills (only a couple skills in the 30s range), but both have nice affinities - mining, respective farming and a some premium time left.
  15. NVM - was the answer to a post that was deleted by forum moderators.
  16. If you fail a lot it means you probably do something wrong (try to improve higher than your level, try to craft an item which you have 6% chance to succeed, use too low ql ingredients, etc). Other games deal with this differently, they just don't let you craft certain things 'till a certain level, while here you can, but most likely you'll fail. I would agree on the other hand that some thing do seem to be really hard at beginning, and maybe a small initial boost (somehow similar to epic's skill curve - not necessarily also double skill gain) would be nice.
  17. +1 Really can't see why people from epic should not get the people; at the end of the day is just them who got to see it anyway. If they get the 50/70/90 skills like the rest of us, why not this one too? And really... Is just a title, nothing else. Stop being so elitists and segregate the wurm players in two categories - epicers and freedomers; we're all wurm players. PS: I only play on freedom.
  18. That's a nice thing... giving some thing to do to hardcore veterans, but pretty much for bragging rights, since there are no huge in game benefits from 90 to 100 skill, yet the work involved is tremendous. Nice decision which I applaud.
  19. [23:51:36] A decorative lamp head on a wooden pole. This is a very rare and interesting version of the item. Ql: 50.508873 Starting Bid: 2s Increments: 0.5s Buyout: 6s No Reserve No Sniper Protection
  20. Take. kill, destroy... lol... I just want them out of my lawn... And your question is really valid... don't really know how someone could take 5 carts, 12 horses, 14 bsbs, 4 fsbs easily. But I think the price is really low enough that even if someone won't need anything, it will still make a decent deal.
  21. Hello, I just try to sell everything that was left on the deed from the guy that sold me the deed (since I have this dumb rule of not using any item / mats I didn't crafted / gathered myself). Sold most of the things, but there are still a few things remaining, which I would let go at a really low price, pretty much just to clean up my lawn (helping out with my OCD - lol). So here's what I have for sale (and the price I saw for these wares at bulk merchants - remember I charge way less than this!): - 12 horses with between two and four speed traits - valued at 120c totally - 5 large carts - valued at 150c totally - 6 rafts - valued at 48c - 14 bsbs - valued at 210c totally - 4 fsbs - valued at 60c totally - training dummy - valued at 15c - ruby, 23ql - valued at 46c - diamond, 20ql - valued at 40c - shovel, 78ql - valued at 78c - 2 * steel and flint, 50ql - valued at 50c - stone chisel, 34ql - valued at 17c - file, 23ql - valued at 11c - saw, 44ql - valued at 22c - mallet, 20ql - vallued at 10c - sickle, 18ql - valued at 9c - spindle, 10ql - valued at 5c - pelt, 87ql - valued at 10c - 4 * long sword, ql 11/11/13/24 - valued at 46c - shield, ql 23 - valued at 18c - lockpick, ql10 - valued at 10c - 2 * water skin, ql 2/9 - valued at 6c - satchel, ql15 - valued at 5c - 2 iron lamps, ql ~5 - valued at 10c - 5 iron ribbons - valued at 5c - 48 large nails - valued at 10c - 8 small nails - valued at 1c - 4 armour chains - valued at 1c - 220 clay ~15ql - valued at 22c - 27 tar ~30ql - valued at 3c - 84 logs ~25ql (pine, cedar, chestnut, oaken, willow, birch, cherry, maple) - valued at 42c - 18 planks (cedar) ~20ql - valued at 4c - 28 shafts (cedar, pine, maple) ~30ql - valued at 4c - 26 wood shingles ~30ql - valued at 4c - 3 hull planks ~10ql - valued at 1c - 3080 woodscrap - valued at 150c - 15 sprouts (pine, linden, chestnut) - valued at 15c - 7 wemp plants ~20ql - valued at 1c - 20 tin lumps ~40ql - valued at 8c - 3 iron lumps ~15ql - valued at 1c - 2 charcoal ~40ql - valued at 1c - 9 furs ~30ql - valued at 2c - 24 animal fat ~35ql - valued at 5c - 45 teeth ~45ql - valued at 11c - 37 glands ~40ql - valued at 9c - 11 tails ~55ql - valued at 3c - 27 paws ~34ql - valued at 7c - 11 hooves ~35ql - valued at 3c - 1 bladder ~5ql - valued at 1c - 9 chochineals ~30ql - valued at 2c - 15 acorns ~25ql - valued at 4c - 17 woad ~25ql - valued at 4c - 31 thatch ~10ql - valued at 3c - 5 yellow flowers ~40ql - valued at 1c - 454 pumpkins ~60ql - valued at 45c - 6 strawberies ~60ql - valued at 1c - 7 cooked meat ~10ql - valued at 1c - 7 potatoes ~20ql - valued at 1c - 7 sage ~25ql - valued at 1c - 6 corn ~10ql - valued at 1c - 4 lovage ~15ql - valued at 1c - 4 rosemary ~15ql - valued at 1c Sources for price estimation: this and this So totally, everything in this garage sale (summed up) seems to value 13.76s. but instead all I want for all of these is 2s, which represents less than 15% of the price of these reputable bulk sellers. With the price of the sleeping powder one newbie gets with his/her first month purchase he/she can have all these things which would make a nice starting kit. The only condition is that you take them all. Pickup from waterfront location on Exodus (x28, y12 on the map); also easily accessible via land - like 10 minutes from starting town.
  22. Although I no longer play on the new cluster, I kept an eye on Impalong, and I think you made a great job. Well done, AUM!
  23. +1 As long as is something both parts agreed, why not. Although I really doubt there will be many instances - the weaker part would almost never agree.
