Aye its gained from mining certain tiles similar to how flint is mined. Certain levels in prospecting from the surface will tell you if a tile has salt, flint, etc. However, even then its chancy if you will find any before the rock tile runs out. Fortunately, even at less than 5ql, salt and flint take decay very slowly. It was kind of cool during Goldv1, I came across an iron tile that had salt. Over the course of a week ended up with 10-15 salt while mining iron, and the tile still had plenty of iron to go.

Would give jewelry more uses than just draining traders (granted its pretty useful); though, gems on jewelry should help one get more coins out of such. Even just being able to wear jewelry and using attached, vesseled gems for favor storage/regen would be nice.

I worked out one way around that... combine what grapes you want to keep and stow in bank till maple season comes around.

Aye from what Ive heard from Who, wine ql will go up overtime as it "ages". So stowing in a barrel somewhere secure offdeed is advisable. Personally not sure if wine has any affects when drunk or even fills faster than water or milk. Started a vineyard and maple grove on the hills near LO; though, never got around to getting my cooking high enough to tinker with. :-\ PS: Need higher cooking for decent ql tea too for that matter ;D

Sounds more like a peaceful (ok semi-less lethal) means of waging war akin to Jousting tournaments.

Its mostly due to not being implemented yet, and with everything else already on the list unlikely to be any time soon. Far as being unraidable... even with reinforced tiles currently being undestroyable there is one glaring weakspot: the door.

No problems with control alternatives even if some would consider such ripped from another game. Not like such is considered intellectual property. If it makes the game easier to interact with without taking away from the game then by all means.
