  1. Well that explains a lot...... here's a tip about changing your image... stop acting like it =P
  2. While I don't really care either way, since it's just binary transformed into squiggles on my screen, end of the day............ Still gotta ask the more horrified ones: How does running into a nastily renamed coin affect your life? Name examples, case stories, anecdotes.. y'know... "My nephew got a coin renamed making allusion to cannabis and lady parts. Ever since that day, whenever a lady dressed in green meets him, he breaks down in tears and starts attacking random passerbys" Just thinking the whole "outrage" on this thread is well.......... not sure if silly, trolling, overly self-righteous, overly dramatic, or different combinations of the above. Specially seeing how many governments get away with the most awful evils humanity has to offer without a single molotov being thrown in protest while Miley's hoo-hoo is THE no-no.
  3. Such sensitivity......
  4. I never see coins saying i have beautiful eyes =(
  5. Tortoises

Maybe they're ninja turtles and we're not *supposed* to see them?
  6. Take a chill pill, take a deep breath, grow up, and grow less sensitive. "Communist winds" = "permanent light breeze" .......... a twist on your words, a JOKE. I've hauled over 150s of goods in the past 2 weeks alone, including Release to Deli. Think you're the only who's seen a corb pass in the opposite direction a 30km/h while you do 9km/h? My thought was "I hope winds hold that direction for my return trip", not "His speed and mine should be averaged"..... hence the origin of the "communist winds joke". Big difference between a dedicated sailor and a ship owner, after all, so far all my deliveries were to ports with knarrs so..... Avast, ye landlubber!
  7. WURM so far!

Tried Wurm a couple years ago, looked so bad I almost soaked my hard drives and monitor in bleach. Tried again last year in December, been here since. Kudoes to the devs.
  8. Thread doesn't affect you, not sure why you're acting like it needed your "smart boy" reply.
  9. Actually what i meant by "bury the idea of communist winds" hehehehehe................ along with light breeze!
  10. Silence will fall when The Question is asked
  11. Let's bury the idea of communist winds =P
  12. http://postimg.org/gallery/2gzf4a81g/b2bbe141/ Straight line, ample turning space for those heavy wind days, loading ramp for cogs corbs and caravels, building closest to the ship is my storehouse though you'll have to visit to see THAT on the inside.. arr! Small inlet on the side for docking small vessels. Simplistic, efficient, 'draug-approved.
  13. As one who LIKES sailing and is strongly against any form of teleports to "shorten times" ........ Seriously, I've been on enough boats and ships on lakes rivers and sea ................ LIGHT BREEZE? I'm a smoker trust me, no such thing unless it's a narrow river with decent hills to the sides. It DOES happen, killed many a sailor in past centuries, but it was a freak event, being becalmed... not a constant thing. *Edit: To Rolf: I bet your bandwidth expenses go down at least a fraction if you kill light breeze and stop forcing people into making alts just to sail ....... not faster... less ridiculously slow.
  14. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A8yuJCBJJ4 That said, "light breeze" was ok for 8x8km servers.... added "size" to the servers but now..... kill it .. kill it like Germany killed Brazil!!
  15. There is a special place in hell for those: The Caves of Bieber
  16. Unlocking a cart with a rake........ eeeeeh....
  17. Cherry, willow, or applewood by any chance?
  18. Second-layering "unlock" is a great option.. other one... "....... it is locked with a lock named "Sailboat6lock" of average quality..........." on examine. I prefer Kegan's second-layering idea though, for the simple reason that it makes thieves' lives that much more difficult as opposed to openly visible lock names.
  19. Yeah my laziness has saved me a few times but of all the............ g'ah.
  20. So a friend had her ship stolen, it was found later but completely emptied, and she was in the middle of moving to Xanadu. I did some testing. As long as key's on me or my backpack, ANY item I activate gives me the "Unlock" option when rightclicking my vehicles. Hadn't given it much thought until now, when I realized "heeeey... some people, myself included, play with sound off at times". The clicking sound had tipped me off so far all these times but....... ARE YOU TRYING TO HELP THIEVES? I'm gonna assume it's a bug and not intentional. She was pushing her ship through a canal exit and accidentally unlocked it without noticing, and a vulture passed by checking for unlocked ships, magic. http://postimg.org/image/nhwxz8nr3/ Not cool at all, please fix.
  21. Mine looks cool..................
  22. Trick is mooring intelligently. If it's someone's small private docks, moor a few tiles out or find a corner out of the way. Public docks, space your ship so others can fit in, don't take up 2 spaces. If it's a beach deed and you just wanna leave your boat on-deed, once again, find a corner that doesn't look like it'll receive much use, and when possible couple tiles out, or by the clay...... Generally after using someone's docks, I find some roadside piece of coast to park.
  23. Stolen Knarr

I don't think "game rules" or lack thereof come into play here, permissions have been doing weird things on Xanadu. Not the first case I hear, though other ones were friends finding out during boat loans.
  24. First we need actual rules that go beyond "determining intent on a case by case basis" .... something that'll effectively guarantee that favoritisms and/or grayzoning are locked out. 'nuff said
