  1. Since i'm a proud aussie i don't think i would ever move to another country but if i had to it would be Poland or Italy...seems i'm the first to vote for both Also i agree with Mad-T about USA so that you don't have to stay up as late for raids people to work with etc etc. But i don't think i could ever live there since some of my most hated personality's come from there
  2. I get to look forward to that next year :-\
  3. Last two days when i have come back from work wanting to play abit of wurm after renewing my prem. What do i find ? The servers are down...AGAIN! It's starting to really annoy me. Partly cos i spent the last week scraping together the money to get prem and now i can't use it. Please Rolf just get it sorted out as soon as possible.

  10. Gold.V3?

I think that a map reset is a bad idea. Mainly because we loose EVERYTHING we have been working for, whilst i agree setting up in a new area is fun i think it is only a perfect example of the "shiny syndrome" in which you think "Wow this spot is great!" Then a couple of weeks later the spot starts to loose it's shine and you move on. This would create an endless cycle of resets. Also all prem players with skills they have spent time getting up will be taken away, they have PAYED and i think it should be their right to keep those skills they have worked so hard to gain. Last reset prem players got trinkets for how many months prem they payed for to get some 30ql tools..., not only did they not get their money back they didn't even get the months prem back that they payed for. Also with the release of MR home i think that there is absolutely no need for one. Sick of this map? Move to MR home! I'm sure there will be those who will say " But what about the non prems?" Well this provides them with a incentive to get prem and if Rolf has any business sense this is what he would be aiming for. Anyway that is my thoughts about a Purposeful reset ( rather than an accidental one) I'm sure this is an unwinable debate anyway. Emoo.
  11. Ship Names

    The Emu's Claw
  12. I've already started making my sailing boat, i haven't seen one of my skills go up so fast, so quick since....well ever lol
  13. The problem with that idea is that trees are randomly placed on a tile, so you would need MANY different textures if you did what you suggested. I think just a normal tile texture would suffice. Trees are always in same place on same tile, so not random at all. Try chopping a tree down, then plant a sprout, its in same place as the tree was. Personnally, i've always wanted planted trees to be in the centre of tiles and naturally grown trees to be in the current position, then you could tell if forest is natural or not ;D Me too But i think it is a good idea. I think the point Dilzi was trying to make was that the trees can be placed in different places on the tile and are rarely in the center needing a several tile textures but maybe there could be some kinda of tree "fixer" which when the tree has it's base tile paved it is auto moved to the center making sure the texture and the tree are aligned.
  14. I agree with that, but personally i don't like the whole idea in the first place
  15. What is your ultimate goal in Wurm? I have often wondered what makes everyone play Wurm and what they hope to achieve by playing. My ultimate goal would probably to make Validus a large successful village and perhaps become a CM and along the way help as many people as i can. Now what about you?
  16. Steppe VS Sand

I live near a huge patch of Steppe and i will defend it if someone takes it on themselves to destroy it. As far as i know Steppe has an increased rate of random animal spawns and farm animal spawns. Their treeless land scape's and hunting convenience is what makes Steppe special. Because it can't be regenerated i think it should only be able to be destroyed by paving it by slabs or something, similar to marsh(Except don't make it floorboards cos that would be ridiculous). So called "steppe killers" are often noobs with no real experience of terraforming and they often in the process of building their house etc manage to rip up every steppe tile within 10 tiles of them. Then they will get annoyed with the amount of wildlife such as scorpions, spiders etc and will start building a tower in the area. At this stage they will go one of two ways, ether they will quit and never play again leaving a permanent scar on the land scape. Or they will finish the tower and destroy the hunting and leave a scar on the landscape. So 80% of the time i am against building on Steppe as it is irreversible and usually has a negative impact on the surrounding area. Also i find so called "deserts" ugly and an eye sour on a normally beautiful Wurm.
  17. uptade ?:O

Uptades rule! I can't wait for these "Huge barrels" Maybe i can keep some fish in it...
  18. Well i first played wurm about two years ago but my PC couldn't handle playing wurm for more than 10mins at a time so i stopped. Finally i got a new PC and began playing full time (IF you can call it that) and that is when i consider i actually started playing Wurm. Been having a ball since.
  19. What do you look like

I didn't even notice that till you said that...but yea that sucks, spent a day surfing one day without my wettie a couple of days later my whole back was peeling off :-\
  20. Good bye my friends

Alright good luck man. But i think keeping a balance between Gaming and real life friends etc etc is paramount especially in a game as time sapping as Wurm and putting Real life commitments before gaming is a must. Sorry to see you go but at the same to happy because from he sounds of it gaming was having a negative impact on your life but i'll stop over complicating things... : Emoo
  21. Happy birthday Wurm
