Just thought of this, if anything else, the side-by-side listing of spells would be a good addition to the priest/spells section of the wiki.

True. the same table could be used with the same type of 0 to 5 scale for the other spell types Combat, buffs, etc etc.

Ok, so I made a list of priests, their spells and a marketability rating for each spell between 0 and 5. This allowed me to effectively rank priest spell and value in the PvE environment. The scale of 0 to 5 is based on my perceived value of the spell as observed in Trade, chats, For Sale, and Auctions forums. I'll admit this is subjective and other people will associate values in a different manner but I think overall it is fairly accurate and if taken to a debate, the overall scores for each priest type will fluctuate very little. Keep in mind, I made this list from a purely PvE marketability standpoint. As I read through each of the spells, I can see where in a PvP environment many priests would be more valuable than their PvE alter-ego. For PvE marketability form least to greatest: Magranon - 12 Toseik - 14 Nathan - 14 Fo - 18 Libila - 18 Vynora - 23 Paaweelr - 24 Nahjo - 25 Based on this, it is nowhere near an accurate statement to say that priests on Freedom/PvE servers are currently balanced in any way, shape or form. This is why I suggested a new Magranon spell that could increase their marketability. If you devs have any other ideas on how to even this out, it would be great to hear your feedback. And... if you make it so you need 80 favor or more (something like that), that would still mean a helluva grind to get there. Either as a priest or a prospector.

I have a mag priest alt on Xan, been prem'd since I made him About all he is good for is fixing mines and enchanting some armor.

The point to Get Info was to grind meditation~Path of Knowledge

By that same logic then, Vynora priests should not have "Reveal Creatures" they should meditate on the Path of Knowledge for it. As a "perk".

Thanks Wargasm, that was my main thought when first posting this, but I didn't get the point across properly.

Perhaps "Divine Wind". Cast upon any sailing vessel that has the same duration parameters of Goat Shape. Increase sailing speed by x% for y-duration. All based on the skill level of the priest casting it. That would be as valuable if not more.

Oh, and just looking through Nahjo they are basically a Fo priest with Stongwall. Interesting.

Not sure about the other core deities, honestly I only know Mag and about half of Vynora. If I remember correctly, one of the things that made Mag priests "somewhat" in demand in PVE besides Strongwall was AoSP, which can now be cast by Vynora, Nahjo, Nathan and Paaweelr.

Would be nice if Mag priests could use a spell to determine the amount of ore in a vein. They spend a lot of time mining, seems logical. Could make it a higher end spell about on the same level as the prospecting skill to keep things even. Maybe a 24 hour cool down to keep the value up near that of a tuning fork?
