Placed a few orders now, always easy and quick turn around. Thanks again for the pickaxes in particular, a couple of those enchants came out a lot higher than I asked for.

If WU is really a separate codebase they likely have little choice at this point: the expense to mirror changes between them, including QA, makes it essentially as costly as maintaining two entirely different games at once without the additional revenue to support it.

Oh wait, does the Wurm team work entirely on a volunteer basis? Or does the average premium player spend waaay more than I thought? Cause otherwise I'm confused about how the math works here. Granted I'm kinda drunk, I may be multiplying wrong or something. 🤔

I hope this opportunity is used to make major, potentially breaking changes to the game. If it's just another release of the same thing but with skill rates adjusted, the server population will start out okay and then die out like usual and we'll have the same game but even more fragmented. There isn't much to risk at this point with revenue going down for so long, so I hope the devs go crazy with this and try some risky directions and changes.

By rampage do you mean slaughter? I don't even play Chaos but you gotta realize organized PVP groups in Wurm wreck unorganized PVP groups all day long without even trying. You should still do it cause that would be hilarious but definitely know what you're getting into and record lots of video

I don't know how this would even work. Say you don't upgrade but some other server does. And someone who plays both servers wants to keep playing both servers. Do they need to turn off upgrades on the same schedule as you to keep playing your old server? I feel like the Wurm client would need to be able to play as whatever version the server reports in order for this to even be possible.

Wurm toolbelt? Like you need to activate your rope to lead a horse so you pick up your phone, swipe to unlock, hit the wurm app, toolbelt tab, hit the rope, then go back to your PC to actually lead the horse? Actually that sounds hilarious, screw it +1.
