send niki the rare string of cloth -
any update when that would be?

Doesn't make sense you allow building but prevent floors which are required for bigger builds. This is a oversight I hope. [15:05:18] Fo would not approve of that. Can't even make wooden floors that's not paving either!

Does relogging fix it?

Hopefully they do something again for Chinese new year.

Good thread maybe something good will happen from it. I've stated in several threads, suggestions that yes the largest issue stems simply from account sales. This is a big thing to tackle realistically. However the lack of item sinks in Wurm is also worrisome. I suggested in the past that you should be able to by chance increase the level of rarity of your tool/weapon. Let's say 4-5 rares on a rare item could 50/50 increase it to supreme. This would again allow you to make fantastic items. A market which no one can participate in because of the absurdity odds to make. I would also suggest they make a new rarity tier above fantastic like 'valrei touched' or something. Oh and hey look everyone! I'm not the only one who cares I guess!

does it have to be?

remove the CR nerf on all weapons while you do this.
-
no -1 a lot of people use the side bar don't nerf it
-
Yeah, also make opening and floors have higher bash damage reduction, currently it's easy to bash in pvp for example they should have wall DR, and this idea seems very pvp. +1

-1 no this is bad for pvp and causes backdoor stuff

I made a bug report basically day one about this. It's not working. Remember you said it was suspose to 'decay' eh that was a good laugh.

Basically what I suggested elsewhere with the 'auto-fish' -

Honestly I'd say 15 seconds personally. Not everyone is fast, especially in a slow paced game like Wurm. Bit of a reason why I play it to begin with. I'm getting older and with all these distractions nowadays such as netflix, smart phones, tablet playing osrs mobile, real life, etc I find it harder to react within 6 seconds. -
As a player I'm afraid to say this in general but yes it really does at times. Polling is a great way to gauge interest, take a look at how successful OSRS is. They currently have more players than RS3. It's something to be said though, something perhaps the developers should use more often.

That's kind of meta-gamy don't you think? Why not just increase the reaction time before the fish goes away. Spells like Light token, light of fo also give you a onscreen warning. Something that could be added possibly. -
I doubt the majority feels the same way. I think if you have higher mining you should more likely get a shard than someone with lower skill. QoL isn't a bad thing.

The skillgain needs improvements then. Also deep water doesn't even grant skill. It's extremely finicky. edit: increase the net size, allow 10 fish at least before clearing. -

Yes +1 With the current mechanics it's too time consuming (seriously) at 99.5 fishing to cap my fishing off to 100. I'm no good with twitch-type mechanics. I don't play games that require good reflexes for this reason. I'm terrible at FPS games. I've mentioned in similar threads like this now that auto-fish should be reintroduced and so should the passive skillgain with the old system. It's a mistake to gut mechanics without giving the community adequate warning. If we take a stroll down memory lane this has happened before with other grinds like botanizing it was good than you nerfed it to heck. A lot of us, myself included expected the old fishing system to work with the new. Well I also expected the passive skillgain to be a thing also but it's clearly not. -
I don't actually understand why the devs are so against automation/production type of things. So many suggestions and endgame ideas have been flooded over the years in the suggestions. Look how long it took to get chicken coops. We currently have very little of these. Coal piles, chicken coops and beehives. I'm not saying it should take away from the original methods. If someone wants to make planks for hours and hours they should still be able to profit from it. Let's go back to the sawmill, you put logs in it and wait let's say 24 hours real time. You might have 100 planks. Another one could be a windmill or watermill, you put raw crop in it and eventually get flour. Also I think production type generators should be limited to 1 per deed and be very hard to craft. Factional fight once talked about a village level system, I think something like that could also be incorporated. I'm just spit baling, I do realize this isn't a suggestion thread. However I do think Wurm has and always been slightly too difficult, I really hope it improves. This is like the only game I play that really never innovates the skilling system, I personally agree with OP and a lot of others in this thread. Looking at WoW, FFXIV and Runescape they add new systems for catchup for new players all the time. Food for thought thanks.
