the rite change is bad design especially on smaller servers/pvp servers - so yeah i have to wait several years
-
this is by far the dumbest things implemented since the rite rework, it's especially impossible on smaller servers or pvp servers. obviously change +1

Well then it's simply not worth it, take a look at rifts no one does them because they're half way across the map.

GM should restore this item for OP

I bet it has something to do with Haven, check the scripts in the area that replenish/resources and things. Also I noticed a lot of excess in decoration items while exploring that area, might be worth cleaning those up.

Threads like these don't end well even if it's warranted when it comes to theft or whatever. It took me a very long to grasp that for some reason in over 5k posts and several years. I've learned that the internet in general is a toxic place, people say whatever they want because of no repercussions and because how loose the chat rules are in some games; a lot of the toxicity isn't handled properly. I made a lot of enemies and it caused me a lot of stress and lost a lot of would be friends. So yeah take it from someone like me I'm pretty much infamous for threads like these.

It's time to bring back the greatest hota statue of all time.
Niki replied to Tryfaen's topic in Suggestions & Ideas
why does it have to be a hota though, give it to every prem account for easter -
I hate when people buy something and take a week to pick it up

Best advice I can say is take a step back from game and forums then. I probably would as well. To often I hear kingdoms trying to get other kingdoms in trouble, I'm sorry but Wurm is chuck full of bugs, report them if you find them next time instead of trying to profit.

Look who is calling the kettle black, didn't WU actively try to get TC banned very recently for using freedom mechanics to get out of a cave network on deed? TC had nothing to do with WU bans recently either, I'm very honest about this also. When it comes down to it is the lack of transparency that creates these aggressive notions between kingdoms. The staff should, and probably will mention why people have been banned from now on like right after bans are placed. It probably wont fix the hate (which is very stupid and immature to me) but if your above the age of 25 you probably wont be such a brat about it thinking the enemy is the root of all evil. At the end of the day if Wurm is causing you stress I have to ask why even play it? You all sound really stressed over a game this isn't healthy.

I agree, they need to do more. Good post.

I feel like this thread is going off topic, however staff clearly need to fix some policies regarding bans, being more transparent and open to players. This is good, that were getting some transparency now. It's really annoying to see after all the damage was done them trying to fix and adhere to new policies and rules as fast as possible though. I realize it was mentioned that this was Retrograde's project, but that was never mentioned publicly until this thread. This is life I guess, I've seen it so many times in the past. History repeats itself. #makewurmgreatagainaddhousecats2019

Very easy to fix this. Polling updates, incentives for being a member, fixing loyalty system "yellow potion sucks what the heck come on!", cash shop, more holiday events, giveaways that are not random chat related or random items scattered in the world. Halloween event was amazing but the rest of the year completely sucks for your average player. You completely forgot about midsummer last year for example. You need to act like a player once in awhile or ask the community what they want. Also cash shop promised but never implemented, golden mirror promised 3 years ago never implemented. You guys... I swear.

Seems like horses get too much love but ancient game systems like taming are forgotten to implementation. It's a very old system that really needs improvements made. You can only hold one tame at a time, charm works the same way. I think this is a bit silly personally. Imagine if you could tame a few bears to go into battle with you, they are immune to aggro from other monsters unless they do a ton of damage or are not being lead. Make taming actually useful its great for taming hell horses, unicorns but nothing else you can do with it. I'm not fond of monsters attacking tames either, tamed creatures require to much maintenance. With the implementation of improvements to taming, I suggest the ability to allow wildcats to become permanent passive creature into a new creature called 'house cat.' These adorable house cats can become bred to make an assortment of different types of cats. This update would also allow the same treatment for dogs.

What happened
-
This thread is very entitled and cute to be honest! However I understand Gumbo has had this happened twice to him. I know very well your 'Xanadu' deed used to be your Samling front and stuff and when they changed it to the Howl you again moved. It sucks I agree, but who hasn't had something similar happen to them while playing Wurm. My extremely good friend Dairuka quit Wurm a few years ago because of the Nahjo favor nerf to crops. They implemented chopped veggies it was a big ordeal and he couldn't adapt to it, the QoL improvements came much later that helped Nahjo out but it was simply too late. However this is a mmo and it's very progressive in nature, we might not always like the changes but I think it will provide healthy growth for Wurm. I'm pretty outspoken when I think something is bad which I think is extremely rare in this community for some reason. So I do actually appreciate this thread for what it is; but realistically I don't think the staff will accommodate. Haven is really pretty good from my inspection, I think having Indy as the initial spawn will prevent the hemorrhaging that the Xanadu server has caused for all these years. Having newbies get lost in a laggy server like that was a mistake on the developer's part. I don't think this will happen on Indy with Haven. I imagine more people have quit with Xanadu being in the server list than anything. If I was them I'd split the server into 2 server zones with loading screens in between.

i really hope they follow through with this
