Hi there, So, there are dragons in this game (which is nice). Also there s a saddle for them (http://www.wurmpedia.com/index.php/Large_saddle). Now i think someone can dominate and 'ride' them... does this involve flying? Well, no matter if yes or no, i was going to suggest to add another creature that can be tamable (maybe at high skill level), and that can be flown to travel at a certain max speed, like 20 or 25 km/h maybe, as an alternative to a mount... would be nice, no? Could also have speed traits and not be able to cross server, might have a limited stamina for distance covered and will need 'to rest'... dunno... what you guys think of this?

I have succesfully (after uninstalling avast anitvirus) managed to do a system restore to 2 days ago, and it s working now again... ...however we tried for about 2 hours going through all kinds of Windows issues, and it looks like there was an issue with my Windoze 8.1 being in French, and the Java folder actually being placed into a folder called "Programmes" (and not Program Files)... [on a side note, i also have a second folder called "Program Files (x86)", but no Java folder inside there] ... i have been told that even though the French Windoze displays this folder as "Programmes", there should be a Virtual Folder sorting this out... but somehow the path seemed broken... ... uninstalling Java and reinstalling it did not help... manually reconfiguring the path did not work either. I kept on getting the same error message. Thanks for your thoughts on this, and I shall also run a disk check now to be on the safe side.

Hi, Was logged in, got 'kicked out', and now i cannot log in anymore... get this message when trying to launch client no matter from desktop or website: "Error when calling Java Web Start (SysExec)" (My Windows 8 is in French). After searching it seems that from one moment to the other i don't even have a 'Java' folder under Program Files anymore on my PC... wtf ?? Plz advise

I use windoze 8... is right-click on desktop > Nvidia Config Panel > some split window opens where i find sub-menu "manage 3D settings" on left, and drop down menu on right hand side to select either 'automatic' / 'Nvidia' / 'onboard'... so i select Nvidia. This might be a little different on your PC depending on what Sytem / Gx Card you got... Edit: when my win8 updated to win8.1 these settings had been reset, and i had to do it again.

Hi, Verify if your system is 64bit, and that your java is the same... looks kinda familiar Edit: Also on second thoughts... verify that your graphic card is actually handling 3D, not the onboard chip.

I beg to differ... Having silvers redistributed into the game (in whatever way) means that those silvers can be used by people to pay their prem time or their deed (or part of it), and facilitates other people to pay for services from other people, that might use these silvers yet again to buy things from others or pay their own deed or premium time... without having to spend real money. Isn't all this interaction bewteen players that makes Wurm what it is? Else, pay for a CD, install on your PC whatever sandbox game you want to stick to yourself, and don't bother with a game that's based on community interaction.

-1 when you right-click for targeting, even before you select 'target', the right-click window will state, on top in the header, exactly what you have selected (i.e. mountain lion, old horse, etc.)... you don't have to continue and select 'target' if by mistake you selected the ear of your mount... also not compatible with pvp. and never happened to me so far (selecting 'target' after accidentally right-clicking the ear of my mount).
