It could be a code test too. They did hire a new coder, didn't they?
-
Not really, some people just like to hit the nail on the head.

I still enjoy the game. Actually, I enjoy it more than ever now the golddiggers and complainers are about to leave. You guys are leaving right, or is it just hollow threats trying to blackmail Rolf?

Update on the Reinforcements situation, spells and favour.

It's just semantics man, use another word if you will. I'm not making things personal and I don't want Fsbkun banned. -

If you had sent more people to defend If you had karma'd your body If you had taken away the stuff as you did with the sword of Magnaron Thumbs up to Lau for having a rational approach and being able to look at things from a distance. I won't be happy with it, but I'm realistic and I realize what we do and have in this game is nothing but bits and bytes... I prefer not to store too many things or to trade silver for cash once every while just to be sure. -

Even if we had attacked a deed far behind the frontline and the exact situation had occured, you would or could have still abused the reinforced save mines. Argumenting after the facts or a 'what if' scenario is not really relevant. Please keep in mind it's forbidden to make any part of the map inpenetrable and second, as the game rules state, nobody owns anything in this game, not even his character as it is all controlled by Code Club AB. -
Update on the Reinforcements situation, spells and favour.
Bittereinder replied to RedBaron_Johan's topic in City Hall
Just to be clear to some, but it has always been possible to destroy reinforced tiles, but it was apparently bugged as many players on PVE and PVP found out the hard way. People apparently never reported it and through time, it was considered a feature more than a bug, despite it being game breaking. Rolf didn't interfere in the middle of combat, but 2 days after the raid had started and succesfuly ended and he didn'tcome over and broke the tile because of favoritism or created a code just to help MR, but because MR players knew it was possibly and tried, but couldn't because of a bug. It is easy to state that you were not aware or the loot wouldn't have been there if they had known, yet there is other who know there was a possibility. Is it MR's fault for trying or knowing? Is it your own fault for not knowing or being misinformed? Is it the fault of some others who abused/exploited this to make game breaking things? I understand the controversy due to the few possibilities to test this. When does one get the opportunity to test this? I do agree there is a problem with communication from the devs. -
If that bug had already been fixed, we could as well argument that we would have attacked the deed where fsbkuh was hiding his stuff instead of Sparta... not a valid argument that his stuff would have been safe. Good post Rolf, I completely agree with you.

What makes you think that? The odds (res stones) to keep your stuff will be as high as they are now and even if you say it will deter people from doing PVP, I would think the opposite as people could leave their drakes at homes and all switch to plate as they won't have much too lose. No need for res stone and there won't be anything to 'gain' as everyone uses the same stuff. => people will be less afraid to lose things => more pvp.

Didn't you suggest to change this not long ago? http://forum.wurmonline.com/index.php?/topic/96089-add-looting-code-to-chaos/?hl=%2Bepic+%2Bloot#entry966947 Some people are just incredible... IMO, Epic loot code+ Res stone is a good combination. You basically know you lose your stuff, unless your team persists and wins the fight. Corpse grabbing is frustrating and more of a lottery than anything else.

[Chaos] New friendly PMK being thought about
Bittereinder replied to Druidnature's topic in Town Square
Make sure you build up a defendable capital city... -
Better start thinking of a name and logo already.

It went from 15 to 40 in september and now back to 25.
-
How about just losing your champion status after dieing? You don't have to worry about time and getting points anymore which is good for the champion and the enemy can focus on the champion to make him lose his status.
-
25 is a nice number. IMO a kingdom should represent an alliance of villages and with a 25 player minimum requirement, this would represent like 2-3 villages.
-
Perhaps a coat of arms on your shield?

painting for walls, curtains for windows...

My suggestions for the next "Big Update"
Bittereinder replied to whereami's topic in Suggestions & Ideas
IMO big update => 1.3 => new features smaller updates => bug fixes and smaller things -
+1 or undo the mine door change.

installed java 64 but wurm still running 32 bits
Bittereinder replied to Almeriaan's topic in Technical Issues
I also need to fix that. Maybe we need a 64-bit firefox or chrome or so?
