Good lord you guys are hilarious with this, he points out how Rolf is constantly shooting himself in the foot, but oh yes lets forget about that and hammer home that "lulz you cheated you're bad mmmkay!"
What, the frakk, ever. Seriously, if we expect new people to actually come in and enjoy this game eventually a lot of you folks are going TO HAVE TO GET OVER YOURSELVES. The amount of "attacking", "whining", "bashing", etc has gotten so far out of hand its disturbing. Seriously, at least pretend to be sentient human beings instead of pond scum from GameFAQs.
Now onto the topic at hand:
Sorry you were banned and I agree Rolf needs to start working on actually running the game instead of breaking it, I am hoping with the new server changes that he can reach some sort of middle ground, though with additions like "nutrition" and "swimming" he makes it harder and harder to support him these days.

The closing of a town doesn't equate to that, sorry, he's still sticking around in the game, just not moving his village, no big deal.

FT, our personal love for each other aside. I think you should probably stick around Wild as it will need all the help it can get in the coming months. Especially as former "homies" get used to the Wild ways of life, yes its not all that different, but on JK-H we got used to actually being able to have our stuff protected from attack, (well, pre raiding anyhow) and they idea of all our "hard work" vanishing is still new to many of the people that will now be calling Wild their home.
Either way I wish you luck and hope you "have fun"!

Since Rolf has clarified a bit as to what exactly he is doing, I am fine with this idea. Personally as of late it has become hard for me to support Rolf in his changes, but this seems like it will be pretty good for wurm when all is said and done. Just wish he would've done this months ago

Wild works for Wild, its been that way so long no need to change it now. Maybe the Battlegrounds for "Epic"? Or something like that, to convey its state of flux.
Edit: can't call it front line or I won't be able to stop myself from confusing it with the flea treatment for dogs and cats.

Not really bashing, just pointing out how silly his statements were, no need to continue.
The only real issue still is if Rolf will allow priests on Freedom. If not, I've got no reason to continue putting money into this game. I'd like to know soon though so I can find out if I'm wasting my time still being here

Earlier post suggested a flagging of items as to which server they belonged to. I believe Writs and Deeds already have this code in place? Items can't cross, but are returned to you when returning to the respective Lands.
Could expand upon this idea and give everyone 2 Skill Trees. One for Freedom, one for the Front Line lands, Until you hit 30 skill, both raise. Beyond that, only the one for the Land you are currently on raises, when you cross, the appropriate skill tree takes effect.
Agree but doubtful its possible without work that could cause bugs in the short term. (there you go Zammy

What fun, I joined this game to pvp now there is none, can you at least refund us a month of premium since i cant do what i bought premium time to do?My final suggestions...
!. Reset the wild map NOW, it will give us a month to set up. Since wild is the new single home server it will be crowded with all the old stuff. It makes sense.
2. In regards to the epic server make the scenarios run 1-6 months max, this will keep them exciting and their will always be something new to do, a year is too long.
Tony, quit frakking whining, soon as most of us move, you can go back to hiding in the shadows, draining deeds, and whatnot, just now you'll have to play in big boy land instead of nub hunting
edit: Just to clarify, wild is Wild, freedom is the new "home" server.

He only said champs could not go to freedom, so i guess normal priest are allowed.
Actually he hasn't said ANYTHING in regards to religion, or many other things, till he decides and tells us, we don't exactly know past assuming or guessing.

Please, if you care about your playerbase at all, allow current priests to move to freedom, and allow all those going to be neutral kingdomwise, but keep their religions. Otherwise you're basically telling someone like myself who is in the process of becoming a full time priest only that you don't really care about our feelings on this issue.

edit: To clarify, if its no priests on freedom I wont be renewing my premium, and doubtful I will be coming back, if ever. I've supported you through some of your more interesting decisions as of late, and not allowing religion on the new server would be a slap in the face of those who have supported you recently.

I have spent many, many hours talking to Rolf since I started playing, even during the "beta".
If you have been talking to him since you started playing since "beta" why has "half his playerbase to leave"? He not listen to you? Its going to be interesting to see what Rolf has to say.
Good sir your trolling has failed more than once today, please, stop while you're ahead.
Rolf is a grown man with his own ideas, and at the end of the day he does random things to suit his whims, not ours. In the future, please think your thoughts through fully, thank you.
An edit to further clarify for those who are unaware: I played for a short stint during the "beta". Later found the game again after the start of Gold2, and have since returned to my regular pestering of Rolf. I'm sure he could care less either way

I have spent many, many hours talking to Rolf since I started playing, even during the "beta". I don't really have a soap box around to stand on unfortunately, it seems you took it to make that giant post of yours
Either way, the "taint" I refer to came long before the bans, and is more to do with his general actions and attitude towards wurm as of late.
Personally, I wish him luck and hope he gets out of this funk he's in, but I'm not going to bother defending him or anything else to do with Wurm for the time being until he shows he can get back to where he himself had been not that long ago.
As an aside, the core of this game is the best game I've played in awhile, despite its constant push towards not being enjoyable. One can only hope he seeks to further fix the game, instead of continue breaking it. [/end overly long text about nothing]

Yes my original post was purely to inform everyone of what I believed at the time to be a pretty horrible glitch. I've since learned it is partly, as the raiders were in my local but they could not see me, nor the other way around, I had no idea it was even happening. (I was praying at an altar not 50 tiles away from the site)

Rolf is very well aware that some people have been banned not because they, but someone who accessed their account cheated. And he made clear, that he'd still ban these accounts because they'd carry a taint.
Carry a taint? The accounts were not tainted until publicly posted. My reading is fine, thanks. The logic behind a total ultimate ban when the true account holder is not responsible is a dangerous practice. But, I see your point. Let's move forward then. How about some more bans? Since client hackers have been exposed, let's move on to the ones who use in-game exploits AKA game mechanics cheats. And let us see the same amount of resolute action without any compromise. I'm willing to bet that would take out another large village.
Stop using logic, it's not allowed here.

Both of you i didnt cheat. i played fair but i gaved my password away to trusted ppls than someone used hacks on him and boom banned becouse of that.
but if u want to call me using hacks sure i dont care i dont play this game anymore so wat. say waht u want.
Well kingen on behalf of the 10 remaining players of Wurm who in fact, have brains, I apologize for how you were treated. The trolls are out in full force today, of course. They love any opportunity to give someone a hard time, regardless of if it was warranted or not.
