Im not colour blind but im finding im squinting so badly to try and discern tiny colour differences to match the map that its severely hurting my eyes and giving me a headache, then the next map puts me at pretty much a stand still with no feedback from failing to locate treasure to point me in the right direction. I can make a decent guess as to where it might be but theres only so many times i can watch the dig timer and get nothing and no feedback before i say bugger that i have better things to do with my time.

That might be why it was already implemented long before all those extra things you mention, and why theres now 6 different types of teleportation implemented in the game... yes 6, this is merely asking one more twigs and stones have existed for more than 15 years to get you exactly where you want to go! recall home takes you right back again along with karma added later. Insanity offers an unreliable yet still teleportation method and the later addition of summon soul a more precise, repeatable and essentially free option. If you think teleportation was left by the wayside you are very sorely mistaken.

Travelling is as far opposite to a challenge as anything could ever be, to the point of being afkable... anything that makes me want to play something else while tabbing out of wurm seems to me to be bad for the game. To say that breeding would suffer ignores the call for mounts to port with you and boats of course would also still be needed for off server trips. As for people losing interest, it can easily be thrown around for or against any idea.

Not allowing mounts/vehicles makes it pointless, theres already like 6 ways to teleport home or random places without them.

Ajust the rules to state that any slaying announced to be public must be honoured by not blocking gate/access to any individuals so as to prevent real or imagined threats of not being allowed to participate. The rules already state anyone can be in local but still allows room to be manipulated in this way.

I don't have an issue with private slayings for what it's worth.The idea a group of people who want to look the part of being all nice and generous holding public slayings while secretly threatening people who don't bow down to their meta though is rather interesting. I think that if the slaying is announced as public then the rules should forbid them from refusing entry. It's either public or it's not, no room for this facade.

I very much doubt it, Tich was pretty anti protection and as far as bulking goes she didn't even want the basic processed foods we can currently bulk to be enabled.

You can't ban someone from a public slaying, only private ones... according to the rules. Ignore the threats and go anyway.

There are great and crazy af people on both sides, there are new and old people on both sides, theres free and untouched lands on both sides. Using steam really just takes away some money from the game if you care about that. Some people think that people are mostly lower skilled on nfi because it's new but that's not really the case either since people waste less of their time by making informed skilling choices these days and there seems to be some strong arming meta to change religion for every rite to get sleep bonus. There's not really any pros or cons either way it's just the same ol same ol no matter which you decide which probably means better to save your money and stay where you are. 😶

Lava is quite happy to spread, to me it seems you have just been lucky until now. I've used it to remove things like peat pre trans fluid update and that was climbing up slopes of 60 not just 1 or 2 dirt. It favours some directions over others and sometimes just flat refuses to go.

Tall banners came after the template kingdoms were removed, the only way to make those is through abuse of bugged accounts.

After a year of asking we still don't have an answer if selective breeding is supposed to still be possible, I wonder if it will take that long to get an answer about pottery jars, "working closely with the community" couldn't be any looser

As I've been saying from the start, selective breeding is no longer possible, not only was it near impossible to get those breeders but they do not breed foals with the same traits, not a single carbon copy only random 2-4 speeds with completely random extras.
