The fact that this happeneds doesn't prove my previous statement wrong by any account, I'm quite certain people in the area know we live up on the mountain as Aske (who is a member of your town?) was up on our mountain weeks ago when the white drake died. Also, considering Daash lied about trying to contact us in this very thread (which he had not ... the only reason we found out was Shazaam discovering this thread and telling the rest of us about it), his word really means nothing to me. Not only that, but the fact that I found out entirely by accident whilst exploring that BoS has me on KoS (for really no apparent reason) when I've never spoken to a single one of you outside of this thread (excluding possibly Aske I believe) does in fact lead me to believe that you may very well have had insidious motives for this tunnel. I know that you guys are friends with Ayleska who has some of psychotic vendetta against myself and Shazaam so I don't doubt for a second that you would undertake this "project" just to grief our tunnel, whether that is actually the case or not is yet to be determined. That being said, the following quote from Daash in this very thread: Where he basically states "You have 3 days to reinforce 100+ tiles and then too bad for you if we grief your tunnel" ... leads me to believe that a case could easily be made that he was being quite callous and frankly leaning towards being a bit of a griefer.

Given that Myst and his friends threw a hissy fit over the green dragon ordeal awhile back do you really think they'd be happy to put us on their map? Or have you considered that we don't want to be on the map for whatever reason we choose? It's fairly obvious to anyone who lives in the area (these guys inclusive) that we've lived up there since the server opened as there is a huge ramp at the southern side of the mountain which we use for access. The onus for researching / surveying this type of thing rests on the person who's project would potentially grief other deeds / logistics that have been in place before their project began, not on everyone else to be omnipresent on the forums in case things like this come up.

Also, that response was completely justified because he was addressing Solver who was trolling Atom when he was being courteous and providing advice on this project, something which I would NOT have done considering Daash showed complete disregard for the fact that we've lived on that mountain long before this little project began and he essentially said he didn't care that he would destroy the ONLY access we have to our deed. Consider how you would feel if someone destroyed the only means you have of accessing your deed and claimed they "didnt care" if they destroyed it and then tell me you'd react with as much tact as Atom did. This is the name of the mountain, as we live atop it we feel we have the right to name it and have referred to it as such since the server opened. I couldn't care less how you view this situation to be honest, your first post in this thread indicated your stance of being a trolling tool fairly well. The fact of the matter is simple, had these guys done any research or asked any of us (which they claimed they had and was a flat out lie) none of this would have ever had to be discussed as Atom could have told them exactly what he posted here to begin with. Yes, this is the only solution at this point which will not involve GMs as we have just about finished reinforcing the whole of our tunnel which essentially cuts off everything from our deed to the south end of the mountain.

Code Club reminds me of some after-school computer programing club. Business wise, no way. The major issue here is he needs to consider if its brandable at all..i.e. is a .com available and is the name memorable enough? Its no Mojang imo which was a very unique and memorable name...but its an improvement.

No...its not an option..our tunnel covers almost the entire south of the mountain as thats whete our ramp to our tunnel is. If you were going to do that you might as well not even make a tunnrl as it would save no time vs walking around the mountain. That being said your "suggestion" should be ignored outright for your childish troll response to Atom earlier. For the sake of saying it...Daash never contacted ANY of us in Nexus as nobody heard about this until someone spotted this thread. As I am the mayor of our deed id have expected to be contacted in regards to this and I never was so I have no idea what Daash is talking about when he says he talked to us. Also the attitude of "I dont care what tunnel gets destroyed" is not only arrogant but bordering griefing, as I said we NEED our tunnel to get to our deed and if this project interferes rest assured GMs WILL be involved. I suggest you abide by Atoms suggestion as it is the only way this "project" will work.

I am glad, I never thought the name OneTwoFree was very professional... it seemed very amateurish. Code Club is definitely better, though Rolf should definately be looking for a .com because as was mentioned .se is going to be hard to sell or get any attention with.

I like this new system, I got to test it out last night when I entered some deed I've never even heard of before who had me on KOS. It's cute when noobies KOS you without even knowing who they are I have no idea who even owns the deed, nor do I care, but I did really think the warning system was cool, even if it wasn't strictly necessary.

These guys are amateurs, they're blowing a gasket over taking menial items and thinking they are badasses. They have no idea what "raiding" in wurm really is and I imagine they are thankful for it. It is rather unfortunate things now are not as they once were or perhaps these two problems could be dealt with by those willing to do so Does anyone happen to have a map with the location of their deed on it by chance? ;D

Dig it up. I find it to be a terrible eyesore as well. It's convenient in the main traversed and trade area.... everywhere else it tends to be obnoxious and 5-6 tiles wide for nothing.

You see, back when dragons could be penned you could be happy if you even had a chance at a set. But now that dragons roam free people still keep doing that! The organizers should be happy that they get the remaining hide in this situation. Well that is unless they found yet another way to hold dragons...

Sounds kinda scammy to me, seems like you guys want a ton of people to help you and you get to keep the vast majority of the hides. The general rule of thumb with dragon kills is to give everyone who goes a set and figure out how to split the rest. That's what we did when we killed the white and when I've killed other dragons in the past. Raffling off 2 hides worth of sets and potentially pocketing 6 is insanely greedy in my opinion and I hope that I'm misreading this as so many people seem to have volunteered to essentially make you free money lol.

It's quite amusing how Rolf's "pen fix" accomplished nothing with all the drakes being penned regardless.

Most of the group that killed that were NOT responsible for the pen, we were planning to kill it without one but certain drama led us to having to do so. Everyone else here who is complaining about killing it, the better alternative is to display them in a pen? You can't complain when people who have spent more time in-game to get fightskill and weeks setting things like this up do so before you do, that's just being petty and jealous. I can only recall two dragon egg ever hatching and that took MONTHS, most drakes are "aged hatchling" which means it likely would never lay an egg anyways.... it's some ridiculous glitch thats been around forever as far as I know... I have no idea why Rolf hasnt fixed it. Either way, people need to stop being petty and get over it, they are there to be killed so we killed them.

Agreed. At least it was graced with the blood of the white dragon for awhile and now has corpses of "mycelium" all over it I will take some good screenshots during the day once we have it better setup there now that the dragon is gone!

Took a ton of time to organize all this but I'm glad everyone got their suits and in the end Metaldragon and Drago were reasonable and we worked out good solution that made everyone happy. I also want to thank Enki who showed up to supervise for a bit and Oracle for helping clear things up after a brief misunderstanding. It was fun and everyone walked away happy! Good job guys!

I mean seriously, what are you on about? Why not just disable breeding completely then. There are so many animals everywhere that there are no reason to destroy the game any further for breeders. I am all for removing the care for option for non-prems, as it can be abused on Freedom. This doesn't "destroy the game" for breeders.... You don't NEED 200 effing horses to be a breeder, people are just stupid and lazy and instead of culling their herds properly they just pen up their animals ad nauseum as if it's some kind of achievement to see who can cram the most stupid non aggressive animals into tiny pens. There are not "so many animals everywhere", people like you are part of the problem and the reason why this is so desperately needed. There is a cap of so many animals that can be on the map and huge pens of hundreds of mobs so that 1 person can show off is responsible for the large majority of this. So basically, the "breeders" like you who I assume have tons of horses penned up prevent almost anyone else from ever doing the same because the overall stock is already accounted for and not dieing off due to these restrictions. I say Rolf should be all for it, whiners be damned, do what is best for the game and obviously having a few people control the vast majority of the animal cap is ludicrous.

It's fine, people are just being whiny and overreacting because they are used to Wurm (kiddie version) where nothing bad could ever possibly happen to them. The game never used to be so easy and devoid of challenge and now that Rolf is finally moving back to the roots of the game (which was open FFA PvP and highly aggressive mobs) people are complaining. I say the game feels much more entertaining and fun again.

This is already being used as a griefing/theft tool, according to the "rumour mill". While I understand the reasoning behind this change, it doesn't seem to be implemented well, and seems to be a blanket overreaction to a relatively small issue. So far, I think the negatives are outweighing the benefits. That "rumor mill" is likely complete BS, they dont bash the walls that easily and I have yet to see anyone capable of training around aggros forever without being hit/killed. I completely agree with this update, I hate seeing people who take huge slices out of the available mobs on a server by penning up hundreds of creatures for nothing. Champs are not there to be "shown off", neither are uniques, the people who think this is their purpose obviously have it wrong since Rolf's intent (over the course of years of these kinds of updates) has always been to make this harder to do.... people just keep finding ways to exploit it so they can keep their "trophies" that they "earned" by exploiting mechanics. It's hilarious how dumbed down and kiddie proofed Wurm got to be and now you have all these people who think aggressive animals being aggressive is a bad thing..... you can really tell who has only been here since the game was nerfed into oblivion by the people who complain over a change like this. I for one am glad with the change and I hope Rolf realizes this is a step in the right direction and doesn't concede to the "passive" people who just want everything in the game to be a cakewalk and for Champs / Uniques to be E-peen trophies instead of dangerous mobs that require huge amounts of effort to kill.
