  1. Need a super bright light to keep you going in the mines or from getting lost in the dark? Look no further, I happen to have one for you. Starting Bid: 4s Bid Increments: 1s Buy Out: 12s Buyer pays COD from Xanadu Buyout Met.
  2. I used my trader much like you. I did a little research and decided to take the risk, shelling out cash shop purchased 50s to get my trader. Then a couple of months later, just as I was starting to get really nice gains, Xanadu was launched. I loved my deed on Release but knew I could not sustain it and my new one on Xan. When I sold my deed I was selling all of the hard work I put into it, the trader was just a bonus in my eyes, at least it was still paying out something. Kruggan took pity on me and purchased my deed at a far better price than anyone else was willing to pay. I understand ppl who purchased traders shortly before Xanadu was announced/launched being upset and wanting some sort of reimbursement. What I don't understand are the people who have had traders for years, or purchased new ones after all the speculation on the forums demanding refunds. It's a gamble, with all of the posts even before Xanadu one should go into it knowing it's a gamble. We need communication from staff members, either they have already decided what they are doing with traders, or they haven't. If they have not reached a conclusion yet they should take trader papers not for sale until they decide. Players should stop buying deeds for their traders until we get some kind of news. Someone else mentioned in another thread giving out rods of transmutation to those that currently own a trader, I personally think that's a decent idea. I believe this will be last time I weigh in on the trader threads, more than anything right now I want is a finalized solution, and for all the bitching and moaning from both sides to stop.
  3. I have to agree. Make two optional permissions for perimeters, terraform and build. That would stop the main forms of harassment. There is no reason to destroy anyone's perimeter with so much undeeded land full of resources. It would still allow for foraging, botanizing, tree chopping (trees can easily be replaced),access to inland, etc. Not everyone can afford giant deeds so that whats done in their perimeter doesn't matter to them. I think this would be a good solution.
  4. [09:05:26] The items silently disappear from the spirit castle. You expect them to arrive in less than thirty minutes.
  5. Shot myself in the foot with that mystery. To Nappy it is! Make sure to let us know what kind of Frankenstein magic you are able to pull out of it. Please confirm that you would like this sent to character Nappy and I'll shoot it out this morning. PS: Gumbo, I love your avatar
  6. I inherited a vile of blood from an alliance mate who no longer plays. No idea what creature it came from, so this is a real "mystery box." Starting Bid: 50c Increments: 25c Buyout: 2.5s
  7. Mystery Box auction it is! Thanks for the reply Tuanta.
  8. I inherited a vile of blood from an alliance mate who no longer plays. Examine does not tell me which creature it came from, so I can't say which oil, potion, etc. that it will make. This is the first blood I have seen, are the icons different colors for creatures or is this just going to be a mystery box? Thanks KK
  9. You mean I'm expected to do real work this morning? *sigh*
  10. Esteron Market, just east of Esteron, has 4 and 5 speed horses for sale. They are self service, you can purchase keys to the horse pens as well as saddles on Merchant Khepri. You can also buy enchanted horse shoes on Merchant Kryokitten.
  11. Booskii, on 20 Feb 2015 - 06:30 AM, said: "Not long ago it was made that a non payed toon can place a deed it is still 10s to place said deed" It actually costs just under 5s for a base 11x11 with 5 perimeter now. Which is tiny. Enderman, I sincerely hope you join one of the villages you have been invited to before heading out on your own. Safety of a village with knowledgeable players is always win. Before you know it you will be making silver; like anything in worm it just takes time. Best of Luck!
  12. For those wondering, the sea access is a canal located at N/O 23. And moss is just pretty easy to get rid of by cultivating.
  13. I agree doing more things for themselves will help them decide quickly if this is the game for them or not and make them feel more accomplished. Not all n00bs are like this, the latest ppl to move into our area were nice and asked where a good spot was and went the direction pointed, setting up not to far off. However, my experience and opinion from my previous post still stands for the general masses. And no, no one needs an invite to deed non-deeded land, but it sure is nice when people are generally respectful to their neighbors and the local area. Especially when there is an alliance of deeds working on local community projects and such.
  14. Looks like it's been refilled, can sell now!
  15. It ran dry about 45 minutes ago while I was selling a heap of bodies.
  16. I have to agree with most of that. Imo, unless you have to pay for prem or deed upkeep using only what silver you can earn in game, there is no real reason to grind to your death on any skill. If new players joined a village when they started, they could learn the game and generally get upgraded tools in exchange for work before moving on. Growing your skills organically, while it takes longer, makes it feel less like work to me. You don't NEED those 80-90ql enchanted tools (yeah they are nice). About 50/60ql is good for average Joe just trying to get deed work done, cheap to buy or easy enough to get to without killing yourself. The one thing I disagree with is your second opinion. I'm always willing to help a n00b that shows they are making an effort. However, while joining a village when you are new may trigger the "catching up" syndrome, all you ahve to do is look at the wts forums to trigger it as well. Generally "catching up" can be quashed when they leave the village to start their own and get busy with the basics (terraforming can really distract you!). My experience with new players not joining a starting village, (or at the very least using Wurmpedia when directed to it) is that they plop down nearby and now they are asking you questions in what feels like every other minute. They also tend to want a lot of free stuff from strangers that did not invite them into their community.
  17. Merchant Kryokitten stocked with 80ql tools and 70ql enchanted horse shoes to go with those ponies you know you want to buy!
  18. If you are still looking PM Khalija here on the forums.
  19. Bump, lost in all the other price checks from yesterday? I have someone who has offered 150e (pending irl things), is this reasonable for the stats and the 4 mo prem left on it?

  22. I live down SE and some of us had gone on an expedition to Whitefay to check the area out, it was a dead zone. Made our way to Greymead, thanks to the awesomesauce tunnel, and I found a lot of activity over there. I ended up staying awhile to help build a boat. Lot's of nice ppl in the area.
