So, I spend $300 in the store for some silvers, I use that silver to purchase some in game items and put upkeep on my deed and the such. Your merge idea deletes all my items and deeds, thus deleting my $300 I just put into the game....Ya that is not going to fly. There are people who put thousands of dollars into this game each year, and have for many years, and your suggestion is to just wipe it all clean and start over. Part of the charm to me for the game has always been the wide open spaces. A merge onto 1 server is just going to bottle neck everyone into small congested areas. I know myself and many others who are not interested in that kind of game play. People already complain about not being able to find a nice place to deed, new and returning people complain about it often. Now everyone is out hunting in the same areas, trying to harvest the same resources, fighting for what scraps they can find. No thank you. Many players enjoy the hermit lifestyle, and a merge to 1 server is going to remove that ability.

As someone who played on a WU server that had the weather/temp mod, I can share that during the winter months of the server, the server pop dropped by 95%. People simply logged out and played something else for 3-5 days. Often some players just never came back. Never is it a good thing to have a mechanic in a game that causes people to want to log out and play something else because what they were playing is no longer enjoyable. The goal should be to keep players playing, not make them want to log out for days at a time.

Why would this be included, this is plain lies...... Fake news, false advertisement. Is this the kind of thing we should expect from this new "team" moving forward?

First I want to say thank you for sharing and posting what you have, it shows effort on that front and that I can appreciate. However! You choose to do a rebranding, but instead of asking for player submitted screen shots of in game, or even spending a little time actually in game and taking some screenshots, you choose to use AI generated fake images to be "replaced" later. Why was this not done in the first place. What your showing us, and to the public now is NOT Wurmonline. The proper graphics and images should have been used first, we all know that there are a ton of great user made screen shots that could have been used. Even a quick google search will show you these. As others have said, this feels like a scam to lure people into a game that does not exist, as well as looking very mobile like, which looks cheap. You cooked up something to show your investors, and as an investor, I'm insulted by the attempt to bait and switch. I expected better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only "update" that has been mentioned for the end of the month was the rebrand. All I see is a delay of the normal weekly reset with no announcement of in game updates or changes. You may have traders confused with merchants. There is no trader contract to be held. The contract is destroyed when the trader is placed, and the trader remains with the deed regardless of if the deed changes ownership. Thus the trader is linked to the deed, and by default to the current mayor of that deed. I'm not positive, but I think that only mayors can even place a trader, but that I cannot confirm, wiki does not mention it and I have never tried to place a trader with an alt or on some other deed.
