yet, this is one of the points of confusion. It is unclear if the 5 toons per email account access limitation is a noteworthy point or a defined rule in game (as it's an access issue), what is clear is the mention of multiple toons being acceptable and without limit (the answer I seek). so, I'm just going to roll with what works for me within that and if it changes adapt.

The 5 toons per email account is simply a limitation of design that they have never updated. There is no rule on how many toons you can own or have logged in at the same time. Your limited only by the amount your computer is able to handle. I know of many people who have had 30+ toons all logged in at the same time doing sermons and the such.

    Good luck and Happy Wurming!

Why have you said that you could still block the last bidder from buying after the auction is over when you have not put the rules about that upfront?

Do you seriously believe that you can just ignore the last bidder after the auction has been completed properly under the rules you have set?

To address this question only, it has been stated by forum mods in the past, that the person listing the auction has full control of how and why they wish to sell. There have been no rules set up as to how auctions should run, leaving it to the person listing to choose how to deal with the auction. This does include anything during and after the auction. The person selling the item can choose at anytime to remove someone or just not sell at all. There is nothing in place to force someone to honor an auction, nor to honor any bids that someone places. It goes back to "your reputation is your own" thinking that you live or die by the reputation that you build.

I personally am of the mindset that one should honor their word, if a item is listed to the public, then it should run its course and sold to the highest bidder, period. Any rules that the seller whishes to place should be stated up front, so everyone knows what they are getting into, and then let the auction run its course.

  3. So I log in, and my deed is now COVERED with these new piles, on my walk ways, gravel, pottery, don't matter, I can stand in one place and see over 20 of them....my deed is littered with this garbage. And I'm told that the only way to keep this from happening is to PAY you MORE money to disable this new "feature". By Pay of course I mean I would be required to have a templar, something that I don't have on any of my 5 deeds.

A revamp of any system in the game should not require added expense to the player base. Revert this now please!

It’s strange, he is active on the forum, but does not respond here after the auction transaction is closed. This is dishonest and a violation of etiquette.

He has recently responded to my DM stating that he gets the message that "that is too far" when he says he is trying to send from Cadence to me on Cadence. I have received many other mails since then from others that had no issues and I've given him the name twice now and at this point I feel like he is not interested in actually selling the item. I have purchased another one though from another player that DM'd me and agreed to the same price that I won this auction for.

well. good job everyone. you effectively bullied a dude off the internet. his channel is blank and all the videos are private.

guess he deserved it because of some tasteless jokes?

Holding someone accountable and voicing concerns about content that they post is not bullying. No post I have seen has yet to be disrespectful to him, or to be in poor taste. He self admits in his several different apology posts that what he did was wrong and he was sorry. His choice to remove his content is on him and him alone. At the end of the day I do not think this was all that big of an issue for him moving forward. I do think he should have stepped away from being a partner with Wurm, but this was not something that could not be learned from and moved on from.

  6. Make the default wagon that is crafted the new uncovered skin version, then have a million different skins that can be purchased from the store and allow them to be toggled on or off. It always amazes me how much possible income is never tapped into by the decisions that are made.

The way they just added this skin pretty much makes it a one time purchase, when if they gave many different skins, with any skin that is applied to the wagon can be toggled on or off, and then even can rotate through the different skins that were applied. Makes that one 10s skin purchase for the wagon into an unlimited possible purchase, as long as you have different skins that were purchased that can be added to the same wagon.

Tap into the player base to help come up with different design ideas for different skins, have an approval process of course, but use the resources that are here.

I think the reason is because the limited amount of nodes/tiles you can harvest will be available .

On test server they were limited , someone had posted how many there were in a area compared to old way .

Right, and if this is part of the reason, then the limited amount of nodes hurts new players even more. New players are the most exposed in the wild, they are most likely to die while doing this action now, they have to cover more ground, often times with no mount, being exposed to more mobs that will try to eat them, all while getting less skill gain in the process because the skill gain is balanced around needing not one, but two enchanted gloves, something that they will have no access to.

  8. So if I understand this, one of the reasons why this change, as with many of the possible up coming changes, is to help make things clearer and maybe easier for new players. However, instead of balancing the skill gain from from this change to be equal to the old system, the "balance" is now adding enchants to gloves to bring the skill gain in line closer to the old system.

Enchanted gloves that new players will not have access to, or even know anything about possibly for a fairly long period of time. So The new player will be the one most effected by this, having their time less efficient then it is now, training the same skill, because proper balancing of the skill, to be on par with other skills could not be done without the use of a tool?

Historically enchants on tools were used to give the payer a bonus to skill gain, now it is simply to bring this new change up to the original skill gain levels.

Why is a tool now needed to gain the same skill gain rates that a player can get now, without a tool? The tool should be the bonus to current skill gain rates, not just to be equal to what it already is.

Improving skillgain in the new system was a major reason why, yes.

  9. Did Arch, went from 99.9998xxxx to 99.9998xxxx lol....got about 300 spooky fragments. Did not go out hunting to kill any mobs but Lisimba posted drop rate seems about normal for the past couple of years drop rates that I've experienced.

  10. We got yet another helm skin...but no skins for some of the most requested items...like carts, wagons, ship sails, forges, ovens....and the list goes on forever. There are countless suggestions showing what people want, yet they do another helm skin.

A Crow skin....Crows are not even an animal in Wurm. You cannot find a crow, you cannot see a crow, you cannot hear a crow, you cannot touch a crow, because there are no crows in the game, living or dead, but now we can put one on our heads.
