  1. Just a suggestion but why not make the canal for the cart/horse users and let the boats use the waterway instead. The reason for this is boats get stuck in cave canals while carts and horses do not. Just a suggestion though

  7. It's not really autorun since it only works while both mouse buttons are pressed and it's about trying to make it easier for firstime players. If a player comes into Wurm and can move around using the controls his used to in other games then that's one less thing on that learning curve, which for Wurm is pretty cliff like

Yes but you actually have to reach over and press a key on the keyboard to autorun then press another movement key to stop, this simple change would not require you to do that and would make the game more in line with other mmo control schemes, thus making it easier for new players to adjust. Bind mouse2 autorun Mouse button two by it's self is used to bring up the action menu. Also this is only moving you so long as you have the right mouse button held down, if you release it then you stop moving. It's one of those things where if you try it you will not stop using it because it feels much more natural

So a simple control addition I'd like to see which I think would make the world of difference to how people play, would be to make it so when you hold down the left mouse button and then hold down the right mouse button too your character would start to move. This means you can move around Wurm only using the mouse, which is something lacking at the moment. I think this small change which would not affect anything else will make the game much more accessible to new players who would be used to this functionality. Ta
  11. Water farms

    I love the idea that you have to grow these crops in water, it means I can make use of the water which my settlement covers for once ;D It's also going to really change the way the landscape looks which is great.
  12. Tools were once no-drop, but sadly some players in MR on Wild would cast Venom on their tools and poison enemies on their grief alts. It was then changed that no-drop items would be dropped. Players have a history of abusing good things, sadly. So instead of fixing the issue, which is allowing people to cast enchants on noob tools you just made it so they are no longer no-drop... Just don't allow enchants on noob tools and that little exploit goes away.
