  1. Rolf needs to keep breaking large containers until we stop using those mods... I swear, if this was a standalone game, he'd come to our houses and knock stuff over, just to piss us off.
  2. It would be nice if there was the slightest notification so that hosts might be prepared to update...
  3. Beautiful. It makes me truly homesick to see all the advancements to the area. ~ Hobbe (Original owner of what is now Swampland Heritage)
  4. Is the western part of that on my old island? (The one that Sheogorath stole from me)
  5. If you buy this account, you will easily earn that money back by charging people for the chance to kill you.
  6. They didn't reverse anything in the game. They admitted that the ability was a bug and said they would fix it, then decided to call it a 'feature'. As was said before "Welcome to WURM".
  7. I think I'll just expand my PC's perimeter over the top of his and then the game will be owned by me.
  8. For the ever loving life of me, I cannot figure out why they don't exempt houses with fences that are obviously someone's land. The rules should be, perimeter may be expanded over houses that are already missing a wall. I'm going back to my old theory that new players cause headaches for Rolf and he wants to discourage them from staying around.
  9. Stop yakking about "Free Players"... Even Premium payers have this happen to them. The fact is: People like to grief and this is one way of doing it. When it happened to me, it was because I wouldn't sell my island to some dweeb who decided he wanted it. He actually paid somebody to build an island next to me, for the sole purpose of dumping his perimeter on me. I never encroached on anyones "Right to expand" (WTF is that, anyway?) Sheogorath simply wanted to be a prick and Rolf supported him.
  10. About the Game: Creating an account is free and you can play free of charge for an unlimited amount of time with restricted abilities. If you want to buy premium membership to unlock high skill levels, just go to the shop and buy premium for 5€ per month any time you like. When premium time runs out, your skills get limited until you purchase premium again. It really is that simple. Play WURM! It's FREE!!! Unless you want to ride a horse or do any significant terraforming or crafting. But it's free to wander around and look at the pretty cliffs and trolls. Oh you decided to get Premium so you can build stuff! Wise choice. Now you can build your home home in the wilderness! What? You spent months terraforming and suddenly you can't repair your house anymore? Well, that's because some guy paid us in cold hard cash for the right to take your land! If you had bought a deed, that wouldn't have happened. But thanks for playing WURM. Tell all your friends that it's free to play!!
  11. Placing a perimeter over the enclosure to prevent repair is the same as breaking. It just takes longer. This indicates that an enclosure with housing is protected and messing with it is griefing. Right here we have the determination that the perimeter IS NOT OWNED. Anything should be legal to do in a perimeter. Including building and repairing. I think it's time to start planning a metric butt load of new roads in strategic places.
  12. Get rid of perimeters. They serve no purpose except for roads and creating disputes. Redefine them as such and space deeds just far enough apart for roads to be created between them.
  13. This is the oldest way of stealing land in the book. You are told that you can play the game for free. You are told that you can build without a deed. You are told to place buildings at your corners to make your land safe, because you cannot deed over houses. So you do that. Then some dirtbag drops a 5x5 deed with a perimeter that has no size limit and covers your buildings. Now you can no longer repair your buildings, he waits until you move or the house breaks and he takes your land. Just another Supported method of griefing, like boat stealing.
  14. I didn't really notice the addition. I was looking at the Special Characteristics part. Anyway, Thorgott should remove that part... Or at least make it a codicil until a decision is made.
  15. "Fords"

I dragged a large cart across a canal that was probably 25 deep.
