Wow, seems like we're getting a large flow of former WO players on this server the last few days... something happen, I hadn't heard? Any players defecting from WO to WU are always welcome to join me and the other former WO players at my town in Wolves' Landing... I go by Strider in WU on Skloptopolis, just make sure to go through the NOVUS portal, cause I gets tiring quick, having to sail to Liberty to pick people up, that went through the wrong one, no offense.

Yes, this is one of the reasons, I joined Skloptopolis. The last server we were on accidently got deleted and they decided not to restart it. I have been on Skloptopolis since 9 Nov 2017, and I cannot recall the server being down anytime I went to log on.

So, with 75% of the server voting in favor for, there is a high probability(with the vote closing Mar 30th) of our NOVUS server being connected to our CAZA and Liberty servers come April 7th! So come join us on Skloptopolis on the NOVUS server, and we'll sail to the CAZA server and have hunting parties on the CAZA hunting server. Hunting parties are a blast when you have lots of people!

I have played on WO, as Tarquin, and have since played on many WU servers, now I play on Sklotopolis, as Strider, with my wife Arwen, and our three teenaged kids. I must say without a doubt this server is the best I have had the honor of playing on! Come join us, they have multiple servers you can sail between them like on WO. Join us on NOVUS, and if your interested, you can join my town, Wolves' Landing, we have around 30 members in our town(some of which have followed us from previous severs), and plenty of room for more. I enjoy taking on new players and helping them to learn the ropes to Wurm. If interested pm me, Strider in game on NOVUS of Sklotopolis. (for the extremely new to PM you type /t strider <msg> in chat!) I am also reachable on discord under the name Strider #4326. Also, I would love to reconnect to any of my old friends from Kalayaan, on Indie. I haven't the heart to log on WO and find out what has become of it. We hope to see you there! I believe me (strider in-game), my wife Arwen, our oldest son, Anakin, and our youngest son, Mini Minion shall be joining you. I like thism if I'm understanding you right, it's quite early of a morning here. Only problem I can see is you'd have to put a cap on it, if you didn't say so already, or you'd have ppl doing 1000x1000 of enclosure fences all over. Say cap it to 100 (thats a 25x25 enclosure, 25 front, 25 each side, and 25 back) enclosure fence pieces per character for free, and if the character stops playing/is deleted then their enclosure fences "poof." Then you wouldn't have massive land grabbers taking everything up without everyone being able to bash into their stuff. GMs would be out of the picture, smiles all around, except for ppl with VAST amounts of non-deeded currently "legal" enclosures. This would be a happy fix for the enclosure rule, imo.

With all due respect, ever play Minecraft, when there were no griefing systems in the servers, it ruined it for the majority... they didn't enjoy it. They made anti-grieifing systems for the individual servers. This game is proposing to go the opposite direction that Minecraft picked up on, early on... if your wanting a smaller player base, then just raise the costs and pay the GMs.

Now that I've replied to all the really ignorant comments: My suggestion is split it! Do it on maybe three servers, and see how it goes, then decide whether or not to keep the rules and apply them to the other servers... and since Indie is the oldest, can me not mess with the rules applied to it, until you see how this is gonna turn out. Better to ruin an newer server, then a classic, more historic one.

You keep saying this and many other things, but I have yet to hear how much you pay out of YOUR irl pocket to the game. Many ppl can make vast amounts in game and not drop a irl dime into the game, as we have and continue to do. So my question to you, is how much are you putting into the game of your own irl money per month?

Once again, I have to correct you on what your saying in ignorance, busted: maybe you can follow this it's off the Wurm Online front page: You can build your own little home anywhere in our lands, for free! What your saying is completely contrary to this... written by the Wurm Team themelves, maybe they plan on changing it in a month.

Wow, do you read your own stuff, busted, or just throw out stupidity? First of all, to the red underlined part so maybe you will understand. We PAYED to play under set rules, now they are saying we are changing the rules you PAYED to play under, you have one month, but we can't tell you exactly what we are changing the rules to. Secondly, you also eluded to ppl just not wanting to pay to have their stuff safe. Our stuff was safe under the rules without having to pay to play, but we were paying despite not having to, that was part of the rules. Now, they want to change the rules, and make ppl have to pay MORE in addition to what ppl are already paying to keep their stuff safe. They have also frequently increased the cost for premium, and lessened what you get(ie-1s coin per month). The cost to play continues to go up, consumers have a right to complain, which leads to thirdly... Thirdly, you said your tired of ppl posting... whatever it was you were tired of them posting. They have the right to post, just by taking part in this game. As customers, they have a right to voice their opion to their service provider about the service they are being provided. If you don't like their opinion you have the right not to read it! Fourthly, to your blue portion, we play on the non-pvp server, non-pvp implies peaceful, if one wanted pvp(or non-peaceful) they would play on the pvp servers. There will be more fighting, in the notion of ppl being against each other on the non-pvp server then the pvp servers... so yeah, might as well just make all the servers pvp with all the arguing that will go on. Fifthly, to the green portion, I don't even know what law your talking about, I don't think you even know what your talking about... In the USA, the country we live, you are allowed to voice your opinion, and do peaceful demonstrations(which no one has done thus far, to my knowledge)... it's called the freedom of speech, you may have heard of it if you live in the USA. Basically, every post you made, that I saw, was completely ignorant, but those were just my top five favorites of the ones, I read of yours. Somehow, I doubt you even work for the money you contribute to the game, if you even contribute any, you sound like a spoiled little child, imo.

With all do respect, Enki, the red underlined part tells readers, we've pretty much decided we're gonna do this in about a month unless enough paying customers make a fuss, then we might hold off a bit. So I'm sure you can understand why some people would be a little upset about this. And yes I get that they want suggestions on how to do it without offending too many ppl, but until everyone knows, what the final result is, it makes some of us concerned.

I'm sorry, I do not wish to hurt anyone's feelings. I've been good with everything that has happened in this game thus far. I for once am against this idea. I, my wife, and my 9-yr-old son play this game together we log on every night, all three of us have paid accounts, not that we made the money in-game someone else paid for, despite the increase in costs over time. We do make some money in game sometimes to off-set some of the costs, but not all, like many much older ppl who are for this do. We live in a deeded town, and an off-deeded place a ways from that. My 9-yr-old son likes to have his own place to make farms, and find animals in the wild and keep them. We aren't massive land grabbers. I made him his own LITTLE place that we use in an area, that is quite a distance from most ppl. We get along with our neighbors. So when you break this rule, someone will come in and take his animals and ruin his crops, and I'm gonna be mad. We've never had anyone mess with our off-deed place. I can see everything not under a deed being greifed for ppl to be mischeivious... if you ever played minecraft in it's early days, you know what I mean. I find it deploreable that you set rules, people pay their money for premium time, under the pre-tense that they can build and have fun (as a family in our case) protected from griefers assuming they follow said rule, then you wanna change the rule, and say but you gotta spend MORE money in additon now to protect your stuff in the game. A premium player(s) shouldn't have to pay more money to prevent greifing. Plus you get new ppl in who just want to solo build, and try the game out, as soon as the griefers come they're gonna quit. I have a feeling we're gonna lose some ppl on this one. Sorry, Rolf. Guess I can't always agree with what your doing in this game.
