  1. Thanks for the replies. I can't believe I've been playing this long and didn't know about this.
  2. I have a lemon tree infestation on my new deed and I asked the same question in CA chat. I was told that a tree can "drop a seed" everytime it progresses to it's next age and that seed has a 10 tile radius from it's origin. My plan is to plant concentrations of desirable trees and cut down pest trees and re-forest the area.
  3. It reminds me of a circus. But I say that with a ton of respect, it looks amazing thanks for sharing.
  4. Now that I think about I was referring to being able to drag and drop from a bsb to a cart without getting the window asking for the quantity. So does holding enter and shift allow you to transfer items this way?
  5. In this thread I would like to see video and picture tours of various parts of your buildings. It's really interesting and fun to see how people plan buildings and design interiors. This is a chance to show off your creation. For an example take a picture of a building exterior, then go through each room and add a picture. I myself don't have anything to add yet. I'm a newer character on Xanadu and still terraforming my large deed by myself . But I like looking at pictures and videos to not only get inspiration but just out of pure entertainment.
  6. Is it possible to transfer say 100 dirt from a bsb to a cart all at one time? I swear there have been times where it let me but I'm not sure how. I know it works going from cart to bsb. Thanks
  7. This morning I raised my prospecting to 20 and analysed shards from all tiles and the only thing I found traces of was flint. I hope I'm not wasting my time in here. I have so many projects to do, but I really want to find ore near my deed.
  8. I have a coastal deed on Xanadu and I'm trying to get on deed access to iron. I dug down until I hit rock and prospected the rock and of course I "would only mine rock". But because of the amount of digging it would take to uncover a new area I opened the mine. I have created an 11 tile straight mine shaft and have only exposed rock. I don't know how veins are distributed and wondering if I'm wasting my time. Should I keep going straight and hope I hit it or change my tactic?
  9. Sword Coast J25 close to the center and a bit south of the mountain right on the shore.
  10. Day of Sleep in week 2 of the starfall of Diamonds in the year of 1039. The commotion began while I was smithing nails at the forge. Minutes ago a message had come through that raiders were spotted sailing in an unknown direction to our northeast. I became more alert but didn’t give it much thought. Shortly thereafter I heard the sound of stone striking stone loudly from our western wall. As soon as I had realized what was happening, local guards and a Templar went rushing towards the attackers. There were four of us at the stronghold, though none of us competent fighters. I alerted the others then began moving my horses to safety and hiding valubles. I climbed to the top of the watchtower of my house to get a better view. After a few minutes had passed the banging stopped and I could see a small sail boat leaving the shore. I cautiously went out to look for damage and if any property had been stolen. To my surprise they had abandoned a catapult. Flizz noticed that the lock on the storage bin had been picked. There were over 1500 kilos of cotton inside of it, almost our entire supply, luckily they had taken none. With our leadership absent and the threat of the raiders returning I took charge. I began dragging the catapult across the shore to the inside of the stronghold. I ordered Flizz to inspect the walls for a breach and told Dronik to get a cart and horse and relocate the cotton to the interior. Their attack was a failure, but in the future we might not be so lucky.
  11. While reading this I thought that me being a newer player I wasn't able to understand the complexities of this work. After reading the replies I feel much better.
  12. Oak logs

Oak is stronger and degrades slower than other wood. Willow is best for bows. Yes you can make an item out of any wood type and improve it with any wood type.
  13. I snapped this one from a sailing trip we took yesterday.
  14. I joined a few days ago returning as a new character after a one year break. Really nice place and a great community of helpful people. Most resources can be found close to the walls and well protected with guard towers. Looking forward to the future here. -Dargun
