  7. there are a couple of things you can try, the first one is u installing all versions if Java you currently have and making sure you download the right version for your computer, in most cases you will have a 64bit computer and you will need to install Java 64bit to play wurm properly. the other thing you can do is making sure your graphics card driver is fully up to date. if those things don't help you please post back.
  8. Do you see any text files being generated on your desktop, did it make a shortcut for wurm online on your desktop?

For science could you set the game to fullscreen threw the settings with that resolution and see if it crashes? also for science pop into your nvidia control panel and go ahead and put it on the nvidia processor. If you haven't already done that, I've made a observation that the auto-select function seems to think the integrated graphics card is better suited for wurm so forcing it to use the big boy helps a lot.
  11. Any ideas? Just a shot in the dark, is your Nvidia driver up to date and on the latest beta? I've been trying to run a few games "Dark souls 2" "dragon ball xenoverse" on a 4k screen and I have this exact issue
  12. I've noticed this happens on my enchanted grass only, enchanted grass is quicksand apparently.

  14. These are the specs I settled with for the main server for manawurm. Intel Xeon E5630 x2 32 GB Memory 240GB Intel S3500 SSD x 2
  15. those Amazon servers are gross I'd highly recommend against using them for something like this, I've got several fully loaded dedicated servers ready to deploy and I feel like the server will gobble up 32gb of ram like it's nothing.

  19. -1 I'm really sorry i just don't understand how this solves any problems it seems to create more of a hazard then we actually had to deal and makes the process for this poor little noob guy even more complicated because everyone will be telling him to create a floating castle which as you described is far more complicated then simply traveling a little further and deeding.
