  1. Wow, nice one Surtr. And I think you should make an island, that's what I would do anyway, with a landbridge connected as kind of 'docking space'.
  2. Relocate a 2x2 patch of clay, not destroy it, and I agree. +1
  3. No worries, were currently looking at getting a waterfront property somewhere between Academy of Enlightenment and Arcadia. I figure with a group of 8 people we can get something reasonable built within the first week. Please talk to us about location before planting We always want to see where new neighbours pop up, and there are certain places we'd prefer aren't planted on
  4. I voted 'yes'. Although it is wrong, it is merely unfortunate. It isn't a breach in wurm rules. Although you were beside it, the concept of it being left outside, undeeded, unfenced, remains the same. Best just to pick up your stuff and move along, friend.
  5. Don't be disheartened Lulu - the bottom line is, they are worth whatever somebody wants to pay for them. They are a real rarity if they no longer appear in the wild; rarities are collectable, and people are often prepared to pay high prices for collectibles, especially limited edition collectibles, such as in this instance. It's a very conscientious thing you are doing, and I see you are doing it in the best interest of the GV server and it's community, which is a very good thing - they are worth whatever somebody wants to pay for them. New Players that have no intention of subscribing on a regular basis, and therefore have little use for money on a server with no enchantments and limited skills, may find that their hard earned cash could be put to great use in the preservation of these rarities. Good luck with the sales, although purchasing won't appeal to most players, I'm sure one or two long-term players might take to the idea. ~DI
  6. Looks promising, I've always wanted a nearby steppe Good luck!
  7. i would definally like to see the difference on that one
  8. By all means, Lulu, all the very best of luck to you in your sales of these creatures, and your efforts in their preservation on the GV servers. They're worth whatever somebody wants to pay for them, and I'm sure someone might be happy to pay 5s for a breeding pair.
  9. I might be able to come along, we'll see Carpentry 70 Woodcutting 70 Masonry 78 Digging 78 Mining 59 Animal Taming 57 Blacksmithing 63 Ship building 45 There are others, these are off the top of my head
  10. I could do similar at 59 mining with a 15ql high coc pickaxe, and a 66ql high coc high woa pick if wanted
  11. You can really get 5s for a pair of brown bears on GV?
  12. I don't know You must be a teacher still! Although I haven't seen you in forever :/ We need more teachers
  13. need villagers

Please advertise such matters in the recruitment forum. There are many players who I'm sure would be thrilled to join you, but not when you look in the wrong places.
  14. 3 cocktail sausages and a blackcurrant squash
  15. Your best bet for that one might be looking for deer. The are quite common everywhere, low enough skill, and they are worth killing for the meat, hides & HC ingredients too.
  16. According to my findings, the ratio to me seems to be 1/3 from upkeep 2/3 from personal bank. It doesn't take alot from upkeep, it takes more from your bank, assuming I haven't confused either side.
  17. I am on the fence, as per the expression. However, a solution I think might be better, is that you keep the Food Storage Bin model the same to avoid confusion and adapt it for a chicken coop - say, remove the doors currently on and replace them with a wire mesh door, that sort of thing. Also perhaps a colour change to help distinguish, a different colour wood. To make this plausible, perhaps make chicken coops require one tar? As used in floorboards, the tar could be used to help preserve the coop and give the model variation from the Food Storage Bin. What do you think?
  18. I might actually Dip into the Academy before going back up and round to NBV. Theres a lot of stops on that return up Do drop in! Although I won't be around till August 21st!
