Hello again everyone My sparring/dueling arena is all set up and lonely. The first tournament was going to go on the week the forums died; and I had never gotten round to making a new thread. THIS ARENA IS JUST OUTSIDE OF NEWTOWN ON THE HOME SERVER! This competition would inspire teamwork, and the teams must be quite fair (ie. not 5fs and 6fs on one team and 70fs and 65fs on another) What I was thinking, because there will be a constant supply of tower guards - the VIP area will be open to everybody in this match; so the groups can go killing tower guards as they respawn. Each Team's number of guards killed will be tallied and recorded. Simply, the team with the most guards killed wins! There should also be a fo priest on sight, I'm 90% guaranteeing I can get one myself; so after fights any wounds may be cured. What I was thinking was any applicants may apply either their own name below, or a group of 3 people's names that they wish to fight in. Remember, the participants for each team must be willing to come down to the event! If I think the groups are unfair, then we will have to change them around a bit to make them fairer; or find a new teammate to help balance things out. P.S. ENTRY IS FREE, ENCHANTED PRIZE TO BE WON! Also, I would like to add a suggestion as part of this too. Lodestone - Your suggestion suggested that it can be used to find the nearest vein within 5 tiles. Well, I know that lodestone was used by the ancient Romans as a compass because of the magnetic particles inside of it. Well, I propose that we could also implement this, if not used to find mine veins, as a new compass. (Lodestone Compass?) Said compass could be slightly less accurate than an iron compass, or perhaps slightly more accurate if it's a rare material; but it would be quite a nice idea to give it a purpose taken from history.
