  1. The issue is in "destroying" is against the gods will. But currently the only way to "change" a road is to destroy and rebuild it. So when you accidently place a "corner pavement" and want to replace it with a normal one. or a new crossroad making this necessary. Or just you want to change rough cubblestone into a differnt kind of road, this is not possible without destroying the road first. a repave option would be nice which allows paving over another paved road replacing it's pavement with the new chosen one.
  2. If you plant it, you will first go through various screens asking you about size, guards and some other stuff. However to plant it you need to be within yor kingdoms land, if there isn't any you can't plant a deed, and need to build a guard tower to create kindgom area. what having a deed does is well descried in the wurmpedia Brash linked.
  3. She's a Squidlady, and related to the sea. How she even relates to walls and roads is the other myth. But then shes female, the are strange anways and never clearly say what they want. *runs into cover*
  4. Ibetter would like to see a few skills removed which seem to not do much. unless sickle and scythe which can be weapons why is there a rake skill? What is that good for? The rake can only be used for farming and therefore should be 100% related to farming. It's just another skill of not much purpose. Sycthes however related to gardening, fighting and forestry. So it has some kind of sense to exist. But those tools that related only to one skill, don't need it at all.
  5. question: wha tis the point of anew palyer coming to these servers? how would in a PVP environment be such a player of any use except a low hp meatshield? To play with the big boys a laod of grinding would be needed.
  6. Can we get a function to "readjust" an item? so that it will be placed with its turning angle facing the character? It's nice that we go "gentle push/pull" but turning various items , that you can't pickup and drop anymore to the right angle sometimes doe snto work with the turn options and does totally annoy me.
  7. well, the quantity heavily differs, because woad and coinche... the red stuff, is rare due to having to prog to appear or the mob even to exist (or does someone breed cavebugs for the sole purpose of making red dye?) While copper and Zinc basically are a fixed source of hundreds and thousends of color attemps. that generally, sassafras and basil? It's like finding 4 leaf clovers So many possible ways, like planting blue flowers for botanising them for blue dye ressource every X days. or the yellow ones for some yellow dye. or the yellows for woad. What also could work is increasing the amount of forgaed items, like skill/10. so isntead of one woad you would find 5 if you have skill 55,
  8. hm, some kind of courier that charegs something (which is basically liek the mail) woul work in a way that makes sense. Really cool would be having bankers as NPC's this would require them to be placed first and adding the more realistic flavour without them being available everywere.
  9. hahaha, yeha funny isn't it, yet an entire wooden wall needs how many nails? 40. makes sense somehow. And large crate? 10. Now how do all these planks on the crate keep together? even the model has more nails than the 1x large nails (10). And even more funny, visually the rope tool has 3 nails, yet requires 3x large nails, meaning 30 nails. where are those even? it's a bit inconsistent.
  10. indeed, tin is very much one of the mos useless materials atm. Just let us make statuettes of it people can sacfifice. Or tin fugures? could add a new thing for toymaking, which currently hardly has any use amongst the skills. Slate mold as a tool + glowing hot tin lump --> Tin figurine. One of those things was very common once. Same maybe for lead, because aside fom ancors, balls its only good for catapult ammo. Also bwols? why not bowls?
  11. not necessarily. yes in some places this may be true, yet some people have the clay on their deed, they could restrict access anyways. But maybe they want it removed or made smaller from a 3x3 to a 2x2 patch. it's not like paving or removing them is the only possible form of griefing or access restriction that suddenly gets added.
  12. No, religious restrictions should stay. However, what we should be allowed is to transfer ownership of a colossus to someone else.
  13. I thought point of the colossus was to "set a mark" therefore beign able to detsroy it would not make sense. However someone should at least be allowed to "push it off" the deed.
  14. we should be able to "reshape" the roadstyle with pliers as we are able to do so with the walls. However yes the changing of the road by material would stay an issue.
  15. I generally wondered and thought is was toned down. When I make 30 actions like building a wall, or sawing planks the sounds only appear very rarely. I though this was made to reduce the amount of sound played because many may find it annoying. I actually miss that the sound plays everytime. So its bugged and not a feature? Further, wtf is up with this sneaky bird getting superclose to my ear to suddenly twitter in it? OUCH why is this bird so loud?
  16. funnily a server mate had a dead npc next to his deed, killed by his guards and he had full studded leather, and a drake gauntlet and sleeve o.O
  17. Wood scraps is fine, cna sue them as fuel. gold ore, is also fine, I make simple low ql stuff of it and imp it afterwards.But thoose tiny leathercsraps while leather is walking around everyhwere is surely a pain that has hardly any use..

    Well, give everyone premium from maybe 19th of december, till 3rd of january. Does some "present" ingame exist? If not Add something that every player can gift one present to each player which grants some random loot. That way many people would have to interact with many others too. Santa Bag -backpack as special graphical version of a backpack.
  19. Well, make a second char going priest. but when you play the game basically in singleplayer, the stone altars should be enough.

  22. How does that work at all? I had a moment of inspiration while improving a guard tower with rare shards, as well as while improving my ship. But both did not turn into rares. Shouldn't this happen? So what was that moment of inspiration good for? Just some additional ql increase?
  23. Yes, but in a sandbox game there shouls then be some consistency. Clay should either act like sand. or we should ahve a seperate command from digging clay as in "gathering" and one as in "terraforming".
  24. the question is, why don't we get botanize an item to plant these kind of herbs and plants in? We should be quite able to plant all plants the game knows. maybe to make it less common bound these specific herbs ot speocific locations, like Next to a ###### tree grows X and Y only next to 3 trees, Also, Am I the only one who ever wondered why acorns can't grow oak trees and not be harvested form oak trees? ther are usually laods of acons around oak trees in RL.
