  1. The "submit data" dialog is currently spawned behind the client window. As a result it's impossible to click it and the client seems to be unresponsive. Windows 8 task manager can be used to bring it forward but that's just a workaround.
  2. Sickle sent and received by the winner! May it serve you well! Thread can be closed!
  3. Starting bid: 5s Min. Increments: 0.5s Buyout: 8s Sniper Protection: 1h
  4. The map window doesn't scale itself down. At 800x600 and lower resolutions a part of the map cannot be displayed. as seen in the screenshot (800x600 resolution) the coords of the map are out of the window and aren't displayed.
  5. selling some stuff taking space in my inventory. 34ql supreme Libila puppet 8s 80ql steel plate set, 80+ aosp 8s 80ql steel plate set, 70+ aosp 7s and 123 (ask me for the current stock) CR potions (the ones that we get from sacrificing) of various QL values It's this type of potions:
  6. +1 and maybe make them target center-north/south/east/west regions too just make sure that deeded mission structures don't work for rituals so that there are no problems with allowing them being built on deeds
  7. WTB referral, I'm giving 6.5s. got it
  8. If they are removed/nerfed their owners won't like it because they spent money on them. people who spent money on farwalker amulets and traders experienced this when they got nerfed and the items they had invested on weren't even the result of an obvious-to-everyone-bug. To me, the option of accepting fountain containers as legit items with the same functionality is more like a gift to their current owners as they will keep having the advantage of bypassing volume restrictions and item decay if you combine them with magical chests and of course and remove any risk of having them go poof. Such a change wouldn't be "neutral" and it would increase their value in a flash. Such a precedent would also make people finding similar bugs to avoid reporting them and making several bugged items and selling them instead to players who would not hesitate much to buy such an item if they expect that they won't ever be "fixed". I think that the safest thing to do would be to provide everyone with a proper way to smelt ores fast and either remove th fountain containers and give their owners bank slot expansion or a magical chest and (why not?) a special decorative item to "keep history alive" in some way. a less "harsh" but possibly good idea would be to make them immovable (locked to a tile) to make them more predictable and save the devs from possible headaches if they want to play with volume restrictions in the future. a different but no that safe idea would be to make their contents decay normally no matter if they are in a magical chest or not and keep their volume restriction bypassing functionality. Ps: btw please increse the volume of LMCs.. they are expensive enough after all.
  9. Is there still a reason why it's not possible to bring Libila priests to Freedom now? There are complaints about their dual status (follower on the one side and priest on the other) from both sides (WL and BL kingdoms) and most of the "dangerous" spells of Libila have already leaked into Freedom now that we have player deities and I wonder why there is still this limitation.
  10. I saw no such fall in the skill tick size on 2 characters (my priest at 70 and my main close to 90 meditating). My skill gains are similar to the ones reported by the others. Skill tick size isn't random at all, this is true. Skill tick frequency and the chance to get a mini-tick instead of a normal one if you get reinvigorated are the ones that are random. Are you sure that you didn't change your rug accidentally? It's the only thing that can explain a fall in tick size like this.
  11. I always asked myself why everyone has res-stones and sleep powders on their merchants and keep it at the same price with the traders. The answer is simple. You can't change their price in any way and as a result it makes no sense to put them on sale on a merchant. Why does this restriction exist? While some may think that it forces people to buy them directly from the traders instead I believe that this isn't the case at least when we're talking about sleep powders which now are sold face to face only when a merchant could do the job and take its cut from the offered price. TL;DR version: Let us set price for trader items (at least sleep powders) on our merchants.
  12. Flying is a good idea and it will add more freedom in the game but there are things that have to be implemented before this. It's good to have the option to travel from one side of a server to another without having to play "escape the maze with the hell hounds". 1. Make sure that the new system for deed permissions will allow separate "deed zones". 2. Make sure that the new system for deed permissions will allow people to keep aggressive animals on deed and still have a useful templar (maybe have a "mark as pet" option that decreases their aggro range so that they don't attack troublemakers off deed who may want to use this trick to kill them). 3. Make sure that the new system for deed permissions will have support for choosing to make the deed a no-landing area 4. Make anti-air equipment for pvp (this is partially done with archery towers and turrets, the spirit guards will need tweaking). Make it so that the mount refuses to enter an enemy deed to prevent "easy token-draining" 5. Uniques should be invisible while flying. and then add flying by using non-breedable creatures with short lifespan and high BC requirement. If the creatures can't carry a lot of weight trade isn't going to be harmed by this.
  13. It's not required to roll a priest at least in PVE. What most folks fail to see is that for every enchant worth a few coppers there may be a dozen of silver coins (and many gold coins in total) spent to grind channeling and hire panfillers well before this enchant reached the market. I did some math after finding the skill tick size for channeling>50 and the cost to bring it to 70 by using either gems or favor is just.. too much to be a wise financial decision (even if you assume that you get a skill with every cast). In PvP with self-cast no locate and the ability to shoot all sorts of "fireworks" it's a different thing. Here we are going closer to a Priest vs Priest and Follower vs Fortifications model. Religion in wurm has the role of magic in other games. I can't see why the first is a problem and the second is not other than you may not like the notion of religion in a game. If this is the case I don't understand why in a game with unicorns and dragons such a thing would be considered a problem. In fact knowing that everyone can become a god on epic and with some luck have a spell list that will make him more popular than the old gods makes me think that it makes the concept of religion in the game more "atheist-friendly". Don't forget that you can still kill the ascended player. As for choosing not to use some features of the game and having trouble with it(it's not that serious but let's assume below that it is).. You may not want to quit rolling an archer against a knight with a tower shield because you like being an archer or because you hate the classes that can counter the knight. But this means that you have to accept that you will either have to roll a different class every time that you need to or that you'll keep being slain until you become a master archer that will be able to avoid the enemy's shield and strong points of armor. It's your choice if you don't want to use the tools given to you and not a fault of the game itself.
  14. or try this. The newbies themselves get a chance to see that 20 seconds to nail a plank isn't the norm, the existing clusters are not affected by potential griefers and the resets/non-persistent world can drive them to the normal servers.
  15. suns... I'm confused.. reread YOUR first post and then your last answer to me and you'll see why. My opinion on the list of those who choose to click checkbox and who don't still stands.
  16. The money that you gave to Rolf is no longer yours. Rolf chooses to "subsidize" others and you choose not to be one of them. I don't buy it that you can't find any coins at all by foraging or hunting so it's your choice to not try to get these coins through these mechanisms. But if you really think that you have the right to choose what Rolf will do with the money that you give him (and get what he agreed to give you for them) then I want a small addition to the proposed feature: A publicly accessible both in-game and in the forums list of deeds supporting and not supporting Rolf's choice of fund redistribution. Are you supposed to have extra rights on money that you spend? So does every wurmian who finds coins and they may not want to give them to someone who doesn't support this game mechanic and to do this they need a fast and efficient way to access this info. PS. Reread what I wrote. Calm down and think clearly. You said about removing the ability to buy premium and pay upkeep with in-game money (wasn't that implied by your agreement to Lorrainej's post?) and I commented on this. Less useful/popular money sinks = inflation. That's what I said and it's common sense. I didn't tie the value of silver with the pools. You distorted what I said .
  17. I thought that you had a deeper understanding of the market and the value of silver sunsvortex.. Get rid of the money sinks of premium and upkeep and you'll send the in-game value of silver to the bottom. Good luck finding anyone to make you bricks for 1or2s/1k or other bulk materials for a low price if such a thing happens. The only ones who would really profit from this would be the players selling silvers as they can adjust the rate that they ask for them based on their in-game value and they will have already raised the prices they ask for for the items that they sell to get the silver. And good luck increasing the number of newbies sticking to the game by telling them that if they want to have fun=premium the only way is to use their credit cards when they already have to spend 20-30 seconds to nail a plank on wall.
